  1. Sure, these would be done separately outside the joined sessions. Each time we would agree where should we progress with class stories till the next session. Might be something like “till next time let’s do Alderaan story” or “Let’s do everything on Alderaan up to the point where you move to another location” or something like that.
  2. Hello all, I’d like to form a stable group of four characters. My idea is this: 1. Four Sith characters, one of each class (juggernaut, marauder, sorcerer, assassin). 2. Communication during game over Skype or other voice service. No text chat unless absolutely necessary. 3. One playing session weekly, about 3 to 5 hours long. 4. Playing from 1st level 5. In case one player can’t come due to other obligations, we’ll use a companion. If two can’t come, we’ll cancel the session. 6. Big focus on heroic missions, flashpoints, achievements hard to get on solo. Subscribers only.
  3. In the past several years the game was stripped of many choices we formerly had, and more choices are completely meaningless. Choice of species is meaningless, choice of companion is meaningless, there are extremely limited choices during character development (you select a class at the beginning and then 8 times from 10th to 70th level some ability out of very small number). Formerly classes had their abilities, that were defining them, like strength, aim, etc. and now it's just mastery and all equipment is for everyone. Formerly there were three skill trees, and we were able to combine them, if we so desired, now after making the initial choice that's basically it. Formerly each companion had his/her purpose and you had to think which one to choose to whatever role you needed, now all companions are the same, except for their looks. At least the differences in the behavioral area remained, at least for now, but I fear that's also about to be removed in the future, so that everything is "unified" and all companions will have the same character. The game development definitely goes in this direction. Is it really necessary to have the game playable by 5 years old kids? Because I can't see any other reason, why this direction is being followed. The game is continually being made more and more simple, which is something I really don't appreciate. And I really don't think I'm the only one, I occasionally see it in the chat, that people reminisce the skill trees and other features that were removed from game. I even heard that in the past, when I wasn't playing yet, even choice of species had some meaning. Why do you keep removing the choices we are able to make in our gameplay?
  4. Thanks. But really, is this considered a solution? Each time I want to play the game I have to change startup type of a service? Because the problem appears again after each reboot of the system. I made a script to change it to manual after each system start, but how many people can do that? I happen to be an IT professional and for me it was work for about two minutes, but most people don't have enough skill to do that. Furthermore, the guide says to set it to automatic, which really is not a good solution either, each running service drains up on system resources. I don't think this is an acceptable solution.
  5. After starting the game launcher, the Play button is inactive and can't be clicked. In the bottom of the window there is "Installing 100% - Updating - Complete. When I try to close the window, a message appears, that I'm patching. But the windows stays like that for many hours and never changes. I even tried to reboot the computer, in case it's some system issue, but with no help.
  6. Russians are not exactly promising market. They are slowly dying out (well, actually pretty quickly) and in about a dozen years the demographic prediction is, that there will be fewer Russians than Polish people. Will then be made Polish version as well?
  7. Warrior He has the best story I played so far (I played everything but trooper and smuggler) and I just love beating villains close-combat. I also deactivated dark/light side hints during conversations, so I am not influenced what to select and play just what I want and not follow some dark/light path. I also like the power all sith enjoy in the Empire. I don't exactly prefer marauder or juggernaut, I like both of them approximately the same.
  8. Please complete these sets of clothing. Magnificent and exquisite dancers have whole 7-piece set, but stylish has just three pieces? Why? And why is elegant loungewear precisely the same as stylish dancer? If you use the same dye module, there's no difference between them. So please redesign one of them a little bit and complete them to all 7 pieces.
  9. That's exactly the reason I hate it. Because it's so frequent I got really fed up with that. It's extremely annoying, whenever, wherever it happens.
  10. Please don't bring anyone back! I hate those "comebacks" from dead. Once they are dead, they should remain dead, not somehow miraculously saved and resurrected.
  11. Generally it could be a good idea, but it would require some deeper thinking. Basic idea is, that marauder/sentinel uses two lightsabres, juggernaut/guardian uses one lightsabre, assassin/shadow uses double-bladed lightsabre and sorcerer/sage uses force, and occasionally could use one lightsabre. That should remain, the characters are trained specifically for that. If you want to "override" the training and use something different, then OK, but don't forget your (for example) marauder is not trained to use double-bladed sabre, so he will have some disadvantages while doing that. Like your accuracy and power will be lower than that of an assassin, who specifically trains with this weapon. It would be unfair, if a marauder is able to use double-bladed sabre with the same effectiveness as an assassin.
  12. Hi all, I have this suggestion: Please mark heroic missions both on map and in game somehow. It doesn't matter how, if it is by different colour of the triangle or for example small number 2/4 next to it, depending on the group size for the heroic mission, but please do differentiate them somehow. It's quite frustrating to spend several minutes by conversation and then just abandon the mission, because it's heroic.
  13. Exactly as expected - that stupid "you're not forced to anything" again. Learn to read, man. I said I won't purchase before 1st December, which most people shall understand, that I did some research and didn't purchase yet. But if someone wants to start a week in advance and not to have the boost, there's no solution for him/her. So problem NOT solved. And it IS a BioWare's fault they didn't provide a solution for these people. Furthermore, what if someone's on vacation during the short time before release and boost expiration? Why is it such a huge problem for you to accept the boost as optional? That would make everyone content.
  14. What exactly do you mean by "progressive in gender issues"? I never realised the same armour looks somehow differently on males and females...
  15. And why is it so unacceptable for some people to have that only optional, so that people are not forced to use this insanity? Then everyone would be happy. And why the hell BioWare doesn't ever say anything here? I'm not even sure someone knows or cares, what are we talking about here on this forum.
  16. That's so incredibly stupid. Play without companion - not gain affection points from conversations, or to dismiss and summon them every couple dozens of minutes… I don't pay for the game to be forced to do things like that. Yes, and now the typical sentence will come: "You are not forced to do anything, not even to play the game" - another stupid ********. And don't upgrade your gear… I guess that doesn't need comment. Shall i fight with Korriban gear the whole game? No thanks
  17. I strongly disagree. XP boost takes away most of the fun and therefore prevents from experiencing of some 80% of the game. At least for me. I know there are people (mostly kids), that enjoy running around and killing everything with first blow. It gives them feeling they are strong and powerful. But for me, the thrill is the fight, the struggle. I hate it, when I'm fighting and someone runs in and joins my fight, thinking (s)he's "helping" me and sometimes even expects gratitude! Such people are so infuriating! And that's why I hate the XP boost and will buy the pack after 1st December, not to get it. But some people already pre-purchased and now they are stuck with forceful boost. And some people want to start the content with the week's ahead start. Then they are stuck with that boost as well.
  18. Yes I am forced to do that. This is so narrow-minded argument… I want to play the game you silly man. That's why we are all here, you know? Maybe it didn't occur to you yet, but really. We are all here, because we want to play the game. And if I want to play the game, I am forced to do decisions for my character like this, because of the stupid rule of not gaining, but losing only.
  19. And what about the "Pre-order by November 2nd?" And if someone's on vacation during that time? What will you advise them? That's solution only a child in first years of elementary school can devise.

  21. I have /warrior and /inquisitor only, after a year of playing. I don't care much about that, I just don't enjoy other classes that much, so that I earned the perks
  22. No it's not easy to avoid class missions for two months. it's not even possible. If you want to really play your character, you have to play class missions. It belongs to the game. Because if you play side quests only, you'll move to different areas and will have to travel back to do class missions later, for example. Now I advance in class missions and do side quests in the vicinity. But to do side quests only would make me go back, when two or three levels higher than the missions are designed for. It's not fun to play missions, that are gray, or even green. Orange and yellow are fun, but weak missions are boring.
  23. I completely agree. 12x XP boost is nonsense. That's the only thing that's making me think NOT to preorder the package. Please make it optional. What's the point in leveling to level 55 without making real progress with your character?
  24. I have absolutely no idea, what are you talking about :-) But gear swapping stats according to character? Sounds like someone's not willing to play, or is too lazy to play. I like playing different characters in different ways, I don't want to use one gear - that I gained by one character - with all others. There's no thrill in it.
  25. Yeah, I forgot affection influences crew skills performance. So even here it does matter. The toggle idea is a good one. I think, because only few people want to reverse their characters from dark to light or vice versa, the toggle should be locked on default and possible to unlock.
