  1. Thanks for the heads up, I will swap a few def pieces out as I am sitting at about 22% def and 37 shield.
  2. Hey folks, I am looking for some of the baselines % we should be shooting for Tanking: Defense Absorb Shield Is the old data still useful? How should we be augmenting? Heavy on Def? In regards to DPS what % should we be shooting for?: Surge Alacrity Critical chance Accuracy Do we let accuracy slide a bit so we can trigger riposte? Any clue if that would be a boost to DPS or a hindrance? How should we be augmenting? Might or Power? Thanks
  3. Why Vancouver? Can it please come to Toronto? Maybe next August during the fan expo? Lets talk about it
  4. Hi Folks, I am looking to see if anyone is able to craft: http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/gear/43592/war-hero-combat-techs-body-armor-(rated) If so please send me a PM on here and we can talk price, thanks.
  5. Tough to do that due to the fact you will surpass the quality of mods in no time, I talked to someone who was 16 by the time he left Korriban, thats already puts you behind the eightball.
  6. I went from 16-35 in 4 hours, how may times do I honestly have to hit the AH, this becomes more of a credit sink than anyone had anticipated, or maybe they did..lol
  7. The idea is that it is a legacy set that swaps stats depending on who is wearing it. Why are you coming on here telling me I am too lazy to play, I have been playing this since the first closed beta invites went out, be constructive, not insulting. I could call you an idiot for not grasping the concept like you openly admitted, does that make it better? The idea is the gear is used while leveling, instead of having to replace gear every few levels the legacy gear grows with the character and then when they hit max level, can easily be replaced with epics.
  8. I get the 12X Xp is awesome, but it should not be a complete drain to get to 55 either, if you offer something it should be fully fleshed out.
  9. My thought is that, as in WoW, we have inheritance gear that levels with us: Gear: Helmet Chest Gloves Legs Boots Main Hand Regearing every 5 levels is a waste of gear and credits, we shouldn't get fiscally punished for using a mechanic to level that was introduced by Bioware. I will even pay extra for it, make it legacy and that it swaps stats based on who wears it, I don't care, but something is better than nothing. #my2cents
  10. Ya..ran an instance last night, was tossing heals, dpsing, stunlocking...was pretty sensual LOL I think it comes from liking to play a jack of all trades, I played rogue before and was uber concerned with the damage meter..once I got the ability to heal a lil I helped out..and it didnt kill me Thanks for everyones input, even though I ended up convincing myself to just play scoundrel, it was appreciated
  11. So I tried playing in the Gunslinger style, taking cover..I wasn't feeling it that much to be honest, when I played in a Scoundrel style it felt a lot more fluid, like I was able to be all over the mobs. Does that change as you progress?
  12. Hey guys, Thought I would seek some of the infinite wisdom/thought and opinions on which class I should play. I will give a few notes on myself to help you decide: I have no intentions of healing anyone as a scoundrel, not a fan of playing a healer I normally play melee classes, but played an Agent in AO and don't mind trying something new I have played a rogue all through WoW, so I am used to the stealth mechanics and ideas of positioning (I normally tank) My concerns: I plan on PvPing, Is the slinger able to be moble or is it more stationary? I plan on raiding, is Scoundrel DPS wanted/needed in high end instances or will someone be telling me I should be healing instead? I did roll a Scoundrel to 14 last night and was enjoying it, but wasn't sure which I would like more, so I thought some insight would be helpful. What would good crew skills be for each one? Best companion(YMMV)? Thanks folks I look forward to reading this and being able to pick your brains a bit
  13. I have been looking for a more updated guide on how to gear up once I hit 55, I will outline some thoughts/concerns. 1) I enjoy PvP, is it worth it to get PvP pieces? I have seen people saying that people perform better in PvE gear? What is the actual, factual truth? 2) Is the PvP gear better than most things I can get right at 55? Should I stash a few things away before I hit 55? I do plan on PvPing, so the gear isn't a waste, just wanted to see if it can be used for anything else. Any and all help you can offer would be appreciated, thanks
  14. go biochem, make a resusable health pack, win Trust me I have level 2 tanks to 55 PT and Jugg and found that health pack is the greatest thing ever.
