  1. I honestly really liked FotJ up until around the 8th book which sucked and Apocalypse was so atrocious I couldnt bear to finish it. Really Abeloeth should have died in book 5 or 6. She was cool, original and interesting at first, but after surviving being killed for what felt like the 10bazillionth time, she just got really frustrating and also cut of the other much more intresting plot lines right when they were starting to unfold, overall ruining a series that had some great potential. The fact that there was one competent writer involved didnt really help either. (Yeah been some time since I read the books, so dont exactly remember their titles. )
  2. LotF is a piece of ****. Legacy is one of the best parts of the EU.
  3. An X-83 pretty much has all of those, except for the turrent.
  4. 1. Sounds good. What NPCs will be controling the planets? Will we get back the old canon NPC factions or will the Overlord create some smaller NPCs for the planets? Say Droormund Kaas is added to the game, will it be controlled by SWTOR's Sith Empire or a new NPC? 2. Honestly seeing how 3.0(?) will be a lot denser with much more happening in a much shorter time frame, Id prefer having even longer weeks. Perhaps we could have 2 game phases: first we'd have a preparation phase where we assemble our forces, gather recon, establish intel etc where we use 2 rl days=1 in game day. This phase would last 1-2 in-game weeks. Than we'd have the war phase where the factions are let loose upon another and we'd have much longer in-game weeks to give us time to really debate the battles in-depth. 3. and 4. Definetely in favor of the resource changes you proposed Star. Personally Id also prefer a system similar to the Kaggath, where we start with a complete fleet and army and the units we produce on planets act more as reinforcements, replacements or specialised additions to our forces, instead of ceating our forces during the game it self. Also Id love to start with player-designed ships, vehicles and troops, as long as they are deemed balanced by the Overlord and other players. 5. In favor.
  5. So general question: are we planing to revamp the current game or are we starting completely new?
  6. Honestly I think a Tournament, but with active player control over their factions and player-created characters and units would be awesome. It would give us many of the fun stuff Conquest has, but without having to manage every detail.
  7. Imho the most likely outcome is the Jedi instantly uniting and defeating their ununited opposition. We have some really high level Jedi here and I think that many of their opponents cant really match them and there is a high chance of some other like Chewie joining them and as the Sith lack resources to pay the bounty hunters, the bounty hunters will join the winning team, the Jedi.
  8. I just realised a big issue with this.. With all the Jedi present, there is no way that they will kill each other and that there will be only one survivor left.
  9. Nope I didnt watch DBZ and Id appreciate it if you could stop using insults and makeing asumptions about me simply because I disagree with your stance on a sci fi franchise.
  10. Thats kind of the point. The Jedi who accept the force's will, choose to co-exist with the midichlorians in a mutualistic relationship without trying to use them to their own ends, while the Sith who see the force as a tool to be used as they see fit, manipulate the midichlorians to their own benefit. In fact, I would say that the existence of the midichlorians makes the Jedis' connection to the force more spiritual in a way, because the Jedi actually choose to ignore the scientific possibilities of the midichlorians and to co-exist although they know they could achieve personal benefirs by manipulating the midichlorians.
  11. The number of midichlorians has absolutely nothing to do with believing in the force. In TFA (not a spoiler, its in the trailer) we see that Han belives in the force, although he clearly isnt force-sensitive. In fact we hear loads of non-force-sensitive characters throughout Star Wars say "may the force be with you", clearly they still belive in the force. Hell Anikin the person with the highest midichlorian count ever, constantly shows that he does not belive in the force, constantly going against the force's will and even refusing his position as Chosen One in TWC.
  12. Yeah the midichlorian-hate is one of those things Ill probably never really understand.
  13. Oh ****. I heard there were floods in North-England, but I didnt know you were affected. Sorry to hear that. Hope everything else is alright for you.
  14. Which intel skills would be most suitable for a character who is intended as spy master/behind-the-scenes intelligence co-ordinator?
