  1. Then it's a bug, as tooltip states it should unlock hairstyles for all characters on your account. Report it in-game or on General Discussion / Bugs forum.
  2. It may be stupid, but... did you unlock hairstyles? When you buy them from CM you should get an item in your inventory which you have to "use".
  3. De'soya After character Federico DeSoya from Hyperion Cantos. My first character was called Federico, but he "died" and now one of my low level alts inherited that name.
  4. Hi there, I'm not sure, but "bugged" saber colours might have something to do with the "new" colour pallete introduced some time ago. You can disable it and see if that helps. On Win7, go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings and open client_settings.ini. Under [Render] add: AllowColorRemapping = false If you already have AllowColorRemapping there, just change it to false. Now... this will change the look of entire game (imo for the better, but that's just me), I don't know how it will impact saber colours. Check and let us know.
  5. OK, so here we go. That is Tel'suran. My Trooper lady. (Sry guys... I can't scale Steam screenshots.) http://cloud-3.steampowered.com/ugc/558759332926240275/4CE2CCAB64BD24377C06BFBE2F36E639E6E47236/ http://cloud-3.steampowered.com/ugc/558759332926246529/76BF96DE6FB2025B905279DAEF07692F3EC3F81A/ http://cloud-3.steampowered.com/ugc/558759332926252879/EA21495E588EC68819BDECA914C2315087D8E74A/
  6. I have 100% orange gear for me and companion, I do it like that: Starting from lvl. 9 I craft all green "fillings" from my alts every 4 levels, that is: 9, 13, 17. Starting from level 21 I update gear every 4 levels. I craft blue armorings + barrels / hilts and buy mods / enhancements with comms. It takes 64 comms to buy enough mods / enhs for me and companion. I don't bother with lvl 49, as lvl 50 is waaay better. Lvl 50 comms "fillings" require a bit of comm grinding tho I craft blue lvl 53 stuff, unless I want my character to do lvl 55 quests / ares. If yes, I craft purple fillings and... well... you know the rest.
  7. Well... I wanted to write something about how disappointing this last update is, how depressingly arrogant BW/EA have just proven to be by ignoring complaints. Funnily enough I read yesterday on PCGamer statement form some EA boss saying how EA wants to change and be a "nice" developer. I wanted to write that I most probably I will not be buying future packs (I was playing for some time before I started "gambling" with packs, and I quite enjoyed the game then), and so on... but others have done it already. Instead I made this: http://s29.postimg.org/azx0ostfb/TN_cartel_pack.jpg
  8. I have wrote about this before in a similar thread, but here we go: NO to unlocks Here is why: At the moment crafters provide alternative for most desired black/black and white/white dyes. If cartel dyes are reclaimable, than those crafters will be pretty much out of the job, given that enhancements are dirt cheep with planetary comms. I am not sure about end game crafting, ask someone else. With dyes it works like that: most people don't want to spend millions of credits on single use vanity item, that is understandable. So you get cheaper alternative: namely Black/Red or White/Yellow(I think that's the one). If on the other hand you can spawn it through collections than you cough out few mills for dye and then, after unlocking, have it for free for every character and NPC and whatever. With that option available to you, you will not buy any crafted dyes... ever. HOWEVER... I do want and overhaul of dye crafting. I was thinking about crafting dye "colour" and dye "frame", so everyone can buy their favourite colour(s) and mix/combine to get what they want. There are 2 problems with that tho: 1) Cartel dyes will become obsolete, that would not be good for business. But I would like to know how much dye packs people are actually buying? Is it worth much? Maybe, instead of being craftable, sell "dye frames" from cartel market for, say... 50cc? 2) Dye colour price/cost would have to be carefully managed. We don't want black colour costing millions to craft; that would defeat the point. All colours should be affordable to bye/sell, so we can buy Black and Red colours for more or less the same money as "good old" Black/Red dye. Just my 2 cents.
  9. Tait is gone, man... GONE!! And probably took confetti with him As for compensation for packs: Ideally BW could give cartel packs for those that bought them, 1:1 ratio is imo a bit harsh, but 1:3 maybe? 1:4? 1:5 at least? And those packs can be BoP as far as I care (not the items tho ). CCs back? No way. From experience I know that businesses will do pretty much anything NOT to give money back.
  10. ^ I would imagine so. The real question is... What with the people who already bought "faulty" packs? EDIT: Ah, almost forgot... And what's up with collection unlock prices? For example: emotes unlock cost is 60CCs, but Emote: Hip Dip costs... wait for it... 600 CCs (that's SIX FREAKIN HUNDRED CCs).
  11. Not really. I have finished HK quest on my Sith Assassin, and I can unlock him on all chars Pub and Imp from level 1. The cost for unlock is 1 Million creds or 350 CCs.
  12. Hey, Same with me on Progenitor. I already made a thread about this in General Discussion, but let me add something here: If drop rates are working as intended, it's a problem. I "make a living" of selling stuff from CPs(Cartel Packs), and I buy stuff from CPs that I find interesting. When all I get is some crappy boots / trousers that are selling for 1000 creds, I can't buy things that I want. Worse... because upper body / supplementary pieces are rare, their price is sky-high. Not good. Now... If drop rate are a bug, that's even a bigger problem. You see... When a quest or a WZ is buggy, it's not a big deal, some patch will smooth things out and that's OK. With CPs it's a bit different. We paid real money for "broken" goods. I'm not a lawyer, but I believe there is somewhere a legal procedure for sale of faulty goods. Again, I don't want to sound like some sort of knee-high jerk, that wants money back because he didn't get what he wanted, but... I did pay for goods (I agree, they are virtual goods, but I purchased them based on assumption that they are working correctly) that are broken. What BW / EA is going to do with that?
  13. @ JiUasp The problem is that the bracers/belt/gloves are also very rare. only boots/pants are common and cheap. Ceremonial Mystic has sheadload of boots/lower robes for 500 creds, but bracers are very few and start from 500.000 creds (EDIT: Just checked, there is only 1 [ONE] bracer on GTN at the moment, and no belts) , and gloves are even more, not to mention 2 helmets on GTN for around 1.5M (on Progenitor). Madness! Of this pack I bought 2 hypercrates, which is way more than I usually buy. Of that I got bits and pieces of different things and around 73.529.012 sets of Enhanced Assailant’s Armour. I don't even bother checking prices of those. 5 creds each maybe? I might as well go to starter planet and give those for free to noobies. I mostly buy packs for re-sale, if I get sth that interests me, I get missing parts (armour) from GTN for money from my sales. When I have a bunch of worthless items, I really don't see a point of spending money on packs. IMO someone messed of drop rates.
  14. Hi there. Let me start by saying that I didn't get what I wanted from the pack (wink-nudge-wink) That's OK tho, I didn't expect to get everything that I wanted, but... Ceremonial Mystic armour: On my server (Progenitor) at this time, on GTN there are 15 pages(!!!) of boots/lower robes, and 2-3 pages of something else. I think there are 3 chest pieces. With Tulak Hord the same. Sheadload of lower pieces and only 2 (TWO) chest pieces. I understand that some armours are more rare than others, but I would think that the chance of getting an item from a pack is equal to all pieces in the set, not different to separate pieces from the same armour. That's a bit harsh if you ask me. How does it look on other servers?
  15. Hi there, I think (and hope) that it's just a typo, as collections unlock for this emote is 600 CCs, while for the rest of emotes in the pack is just 60 CCs. Thanks.
  16. BUMP TRALALALA!!!! Oh my GHOD and for frying out loud! I hoped for this to be fixed by now, but it's still here! I refuse to play my BH until this is fixed. Come on Bio...
  17. If you have Newcomer standing with Contraband Resale Corp, then you can get Honored Saberist or Honored Adept from guy on Cartel Bazaar on the Fleet (both are adaptive). I think it has required lvl 43. You can get some similar stuff for imps from Corellia equipment vendor (lvl 50 required and it's HEAVY).
  18. Meh Force Commander had better remix: Edit: Used better link
  19. That's a difficult one. On one hand, YES. That's a good idea, for if you spent your CCs/millions of credits on that black/black module, it would be nice if you could use it if you decide to get different armour. On the other hand... The best alternative for said black/black is craftable black/red. If I can just spam black/black from collections I would have no need to purchase craftable ones, making people making those dyes out of the job. (BTW, I buy black/red and red/black by dozens) I would say this: NO to reclaiming dyes from collections. (Unless it's character specific reclaiming, not legacy wide. That might work) YES to dye crafting overhaul. Maybe crafting specific colours and combining them into desired dyes; where most sought colours would be difficult/expensive to craft, so "old" system where you craft "cheap" already combined dyes still makes sense).
  20. +2 Signed with both hands! And then some! I actually wanted to buy a set (I think it was the Outlaw one) but after I noticed that I cant reclaim more copies from collections, I went "NO FREAKIN' WAY!" and so I didn't buy it. FAIL bio... fail.
  21. I thought about answering that question... ...but it's probably a trap.
  22. Hi there! Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who joined the party last night (evening?) on Taris (imp side) on Progenitor server. There was questing, killing, talking, dancing, drinking, more dancing and running on narrow beams to get datacrons. All that started when one guy got killed by the World Boss (that's what happens when you search random dead bodies) and expressed his displeasure on chat. Someone else suggested that he should get revenge and kill the WB. A group was formed and after several failed attempts we finally managed to kill the oversized worm. After that most of group disbanded, but 4 of us remained and did some questing and chatting. And dancing, don't forget that. The party ended around 3am GTM with nude dancing on Jawa Balloon on Tatooine. I admit, some red wine was involved on my part. I had a great time and I'm sure others had as well. So again, thanks to everyone who joined our "Mission of Vengeance", and a special thanks to the guy who got killed by the WB in the first place, couldn't have done that without you
  23. Just had an idea for a Jedi. I must say I'm having a blast My "bestest" character yet! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=249569794
