I've been looking all over since day one for that helmet as seen in this picture http://www.trippintheforce.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Trooper-War-Hero-Gear-625x751.jpg (it's really the only one that looks like a Stormtrooper to me) But, I'm only looking for the helmet. Since if you switch War Hero gear from Bounty Hunter to Trooper I've been looking for it on the Imp side too. No such luck. Where do I find this gear besides the GTN? Any help would be appreciated. I'm on the Begeren Colony

As much as I'd like to side with you OP, this is an extremely good point. NEVER solo in PVP. It's the worst idea in this game ever. The only time I solo is for about five seconds, when I run into a group of Imps trying to plant a bomb on the door and use neural pulse to freeze them all and run back into our group. Maybe you should try a different role with your Merc? Try being a healer with a little DPS mixed in.

Agreed. But I ask you, what makes the Vanguard feel like a special Trooper? The shield? The Commando is a healer, and he can use the Assault Cannon, which all have high damage outputs, but the Vanguard? He has a shield, and a rifle. It just doesn't feel right.

OP, you have just said what I've been wanting to say forever. I know that this sounds a little dumb, but I feel like when I play as the Vanguard is just a regular Trooper. I feel like there's nothing unique about it. So I proposed this idea: just give the Assault Cannon to the Vanguard to up his damage output. While the Commando would use the rifle now, it would give the Commando and Vanguard's their own little niches and make the classes feel unique.

I agree. Pets should stay as pets.
