  1. By purchasing the game is a gamble that we all made. The chance part is usually the first 3 months of a game for most MMOs. Sorry the time's up & I ain't keep paying to BETA TEST this game. Look at WAR, it was bad, & many still gave it a chance. Now it's pretty much down to 1 or 2 servers left. I'm not saying this would happen to SWTOR anytime soon but I for one ain't going to keep BETA TESTING a game w/ my money. So see ya! Before anyone say anything. Yes, I've cancelled & destroyed the CDs. Speak with your wallet & that's the best way as a player can do to voice their long over due concerns.
  2. Answer is still NO. I like star wars settings & the main class story but that's just not good enough. Because I'm a real MMO gamer & have been playing MMOs for 10+ years so I do know a thing or two what is or is not a MMO & "SWTOR IS NOT A REAL MMO." P.S. Already cancelled & destroyed the game discs.
  3. While it might have killed your power supply. It killed my faith in EA/Bioware. With so many bugs, single player style game play, poor PvP (next to non-world PvP), etc. etc. I've taking revenge for your power supply. I've cancelled & destroyed the SWTOR CDs. Just gonna wait on GW2 or even dust off my old GW1 discs & start playing it instead of having to deal with this garbage of a game called SWTOR MMO WANNABE.
  4. Before release date of this game for the longest time that's all Bioware's been talking about & selling Stories Stories Stories. We've hardly heard of any other aspect of the game & that's because it's weak. I wouldn't even call this an MMO. Calling it an MMO would be an insult to all other MMOs on the market. Just call it single player 'MMO wannabe' is more like it. Regardless, for the very start I didn't want to get this game. Just my bro. wanted to try it & GW2 still not out yet so here I am. See ya when GW2's out!
  5. From your statement it shows that you're either a biodrone or you just do not know enough about GW2. There are plenty of PvE as well as PvP content. Please do a little research before you make such a statement.
  6. weekend pass is all good because you're capped at what? Lvl 15? If you do sub. wait til you reach lvl 50 for a few weeks & come back & post abt. your experience again!
  7. I've cancelled once & then realized. Oh, damn GW2 is not out yet! So here I'm again! It's hard to answer your question. Will your keep your sub. up? Well, yes but only til GW2 comes out!
  8. With the things I've seen since beta & release of SWTOR? The short answer is "no."
  9. Count me in as dropping soon as GW2 is out. Btw, 1.2 would save this game! *laugh*
  10. More like burned out of WoWish MMOs. Pre-WoW MMOs were good & anything after that especially the ones that tries to copy WoW (which BioFail admitted they were) just plain fail. Why would any MMO players want WoWish stuff in a new MMO? You think that's gonna help your new MMO? If that's the case we do not need to be here cause we can just go back to WoW when an older game is way more polished with features & run much more smoothy. Well, I'm not going back to WoW & would not stay here much longer. GW2 is what I'm looking forward to! Just wanted to state the obvious problems with current gen. of MMOs. Sometimes it's so obvious that people (especially developers just blindly ignores it).
  11. The only time I've truly enjoyed raiding in MMOs it was the days of DAoC. The dragon raid was epic, it took the whole server (at least your faction & there are 3 factions per server) to complete it. Even other raids were fun including Darkness Fall which again it takes a whole server to do it but you know why I said it was fun? Unlike WoW or many MMOs nowadays. It was a server wide event started by players. You do NOT need to wait for others to make a raid group & end up not being able to raid because so & so did not show up & so & so that are available were not the right class/spec. to do it! All it took was a set time & date & whomever showed up & we all just went & on top of that we had to go through dangerous areas to reach the raid & it was none of this instant travel boring stuff. Just going there was half of the excitement & adventure itself. PLUS, pretty much everyone that went got some decent rewards. It wasn't like the current raids in MMOs nowadays where it requires you to raid over & over the same boring stuff & get almost nothing out of it. Now that's what I call content instead of this grind feast we see in more recent memory MMOs. So which that said I wouldn't be surprised that a lot of people would rather not raid. Simply for many of us it's either we are burned out from it & say f**k this garbage & would rather do other stuffs in game instead IF there are other interesting & worthwhile things to do instead of grinding at max level. By the way I've always been a PvPer first & PvEer second & I still find the raiding was much more fun in DAoC than the rest of more recent MMOs. With that said & so much bugs (left unfixed for months) & non-MMOish feeling of this game, I'm only playing it to pass time until GW2 comes out. Sorry, BioFail you did not earn your title as a true MMO.
  12. This http://www.gamebreaker.tv/mmorpg/rock-your-world/ is the answer to world PvP (not in this game though since they pretty much killed Ilum by letting you finish the dailies/weekly in WZ). As a PvPer I'll be switching to GW2 soon as it's out. I ain't waiting for another year or so & "hope" that BioFail would address world pvp. What makes you think they will get to it when there are so many minor easy to fix bugs that they still haven't fixed for months? A few examples: random loading screen (star wars logo), randomly kicking you to character selection screen while entering WZ on the fleet, etc. etc.
  13. I have to say something about #2. Just because some of us still playing doesn't mean we're "naive" it's just like you say at #5. I'm just waiting on GW2.
  14. Or it could go the way of Warhammer Online (pretty much dead). It doesn't take too long for players to realize that they've been baited & swtched (saying it's MMO when nothing's like an MMO at all). P.S. OP isn't the only one experiencing this. My guild of 37 (give or take w/ alts.) say 25 unique players are all gone & they've been gone for more than a month.
  15. Yeah, something is certainly missing & that's called 'just about every aspect of an MMO' should be there but isn't. It's sold as an MMO but it's more like a co-op game. All planets seem empty (lack of players) & I've been playing on one of the most populated servers since launch. To me the only thing that's any good is the class story & star wars settings but that's not enough to keep me here. I'll be gone soon as GW2 is out. Been playing MMOs for many years & I know what's considered an MMO & what's not & this is not.
