  1. Lol I'm laughing so hard RN. Your despair is so obvious. You feel such a sense of loss don't you?
  2. Lol yeah, after meeting Thana I developed a bad case of Algolagnia and became a massachist lol
  3. ouch...yeah that sounds like a real pain. You have my pity, since I can't offer any help. If I were you I'd keep pestering them with tickets and get significantly more angry with each one until they do something.
  4. lol calm down, I'm not trolling you, I'm being serious. Have you checked your show dark side corruption box? It honestly sounds like your character is showing DS corruption. If you've looked and the box is unchecked then yes its likely a bug and you should submit a bug report through the in-game ticket maker under customer service and try deleting your character (if she's low level) and making a new one to see if the bug repeats itself. If the box is checked simply uncheck it and your problem should vanish. YW.
  5. The symptoms you described sound to me like your character has a bad case of Dark Side Corruption. Symptoms include: Yellowing of the eyes, Dark areas developing around the eyes and mouth, mood swings, nymphomania, genocidal tendencies. If you experience one or all of these symptoms, please your check your character window to see if the "Show Dark Side Corruption" box is checked. Thank you, and have a lovely day!
  6. Indeed, Same should go for Assassin's new teleport skill as well seeing as sin and agent are similar with respect to backstabbing.
  7. I have no problem with level sync being optional as long as A) It is forced on players on PVP servers to give lower-levels a fighting chance in world pvp B) It is forced on you whenever you group up with a lower-level player outside of an area where that player is bolstered to ensure that you wont be robbing XP from that player Personally I like lvl sync but I still see it as a failure. What Bioware SHOULD have done is just removed that god-awful resist function. That thing is an affront to gaming and totally pointless. If they had just removed the resist function they could get the best of both worlds: happy high-levels with all their power (minus the stupid invincibility) intact, and low levels who can 2-man group content by grouping with an amazingly strong lvl 65 with massive HP and damage. Even in world pvp removing the resist function would still work. While lower levels wouldn't be able to stand toe-to-toe with capped players, they could group up in groups of 2, 4, 8, or however many it takes to bring the capped player(s) down. This would make much more sense as players are often required to group up to face enemies too powerful to face alone: Heroic Champions, FP bosses, Ops bosses ect. Plus it would be a great way for capped players to test their powers to the max against other players without having to que for a Warzone and just end up being nerfed anyway in the interest of fairness. It would also give players like me a look from the other side of the mirror: How the boss (Champion, FP boss, Ops boss) sees us. I've always wondered what it felt like to be an operations boss with so much HP and powerful skills compared to the weaklings opposing me. Personally I think I would enjoy going back to Alderaan, sneaking into House Organa and waiting for a mob of level 28-32's to swarm in like an ops group, ready to try and take me down. I have no doubt battles like that would get more people interested in world pvp and would give high-end players the adrenaline rush and power trip they look for from pvp. With lower-level players finally having a reason to attack higher-level ones (albeit in a group), higher levels would enjoy the feeling of being so powerful they could take on multiple players by themselves (or with a companion) while they would also be grateful (I would hope) for the opportunity to actually face lower-level players in a "fair fight" with the deck stacked in their favor. Lower-level players (with the resist function active) will never attack a high-level with the intent to win. High levels as well, mostly don't like attacking lower levels because its not a challenge. They know they can't be beaten so whats the point? Also lets not even talk about how immersive a lack of resist would be. In the real SWU, you are not invincible just because the power difference between you and your opponent is so massive (exhibit A: The power difference between Darth Maul and Obi-Wan in Phantom Menace). If I'm a Sith apprentice and you are a Jedi Master, and I take a swing at you with my lightsaber while you just stand there and let it hit, doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DEFEND YOURSELF then according to SWU physics, my lightsaber is going to make contact with your body and inflict damage. Its not going to simply bounce off of you because you are so much more powerful and/or experienced then me. Sure if you had a Force shield (like Force Armor or Force Barrier) erected around yourself at the time my attack would be especially ineffective because your knowledge and mastery of the Force would make your shield much stronger than a shield of a lower-level Jedi/Sith. But the fact that you are invincible simply because you are one or two planets ahead of me in your story makes no sense, breaks immersion fantastically, and leaves me with little (if any) motivation to be involved in open-World PVP (RP or not) at any level. Not to mention the PVE implications. Without resist your gear and skill would be a factor in determining whether or not you can complete a planet (streamlining the leveling process even more for those of us who like that sort of thing) instead of level being the end-all be-all determining factor of whether or not you can progress further. So I guess you could come to the conclusion (Like I have) that Bioware could have avoided all the work of stream-lining the leveling process by modifying XP gains and fiddling with this and that just by doing one...simple...thing: REMOVING THAT DAMN STUPID RESIST FUNCTION! Almost every other MMO I can think of (especially all the newer ones) has no such thing as a resist function. The higher your level the more health and skills you have and the more damage you do. This is much more immersive and realistic than making higher-level players invincible. Wouldn't you agree?
  8. Please can we have Demolish be changed to fit the Hatred/Madness theme instead of having this chunky/blocky feeling skill with a weird name? Honestly "Demolish" sounds like a good name to replace the Force Crush skill not a high-end SI Dark-Side skill. And don't even get me started on the look. Since when do any powerful manifestations of Dark Side "magical" energy not been mostly black and/or purple? I vote that Demolish be renamed "Corruption" and give the target an aura like the one seen on the corrupted members of the Dread Host on Oricon. To be more specific the aura I'm talking about also resembles the aura the Sith Assassin gets after using Force Cloak and becoming virtually undetectable. Please bioware, I don't wish to insult the creativity of your staff in any way, but Demolish is such a horridly misplaced exception that I feel have to try SOMETHING to get it changed. I can't just sit here and put up with it any more. The current skin and name is so uncharacteristic of the class it makes it very difficult for me to enjoy playing that spec, which is/was my preferred spec...at times the constant annoyance of seeing that white-ish haze is immersion breaking, and as an immersive gamer there is no bigger sin a class can be guilty of.
  9. It's like politics. Everytime anything is actually accomplished it's such a rarity that everyone celebrates tremendously!
  10. Is there any way I could use this new feature to "save my quickbars" for respecing? Is it a simple case of saving skills to the keybinds I have them in for that spec and creating a "profile" for that spec that can be used for all toons of that class? Also, will this method still work if I use the "Shift+" method for switching quickbars and don't have them all laid out with each skill bound to different keys? I'm more than a little confused and would very much appreciate a more detailed explanation of this new function with regards to its possible use as a "quickbar profiles list"
  11. *Rasises hand* Umm can I just ask one question? Who asked for this? I know this doesn't exactly line up with the thread's topic, but i have to know who would ask for such a raiding mode if it is so socially destructive? If a game or some of its content is so difficult that it can literally destroy real-life relationships because of how mind-numbingly difficult and insanely complex it is....isn't no longer a game but now an exercise in sadism and cruelty on the developer's part? I've have heard horror stories on the forums before (in other games as well as SWTOR) how NiM and similar modes in other games have quite literally destroyed friendships that lasted for months or (in one particular case in WOW) years beforehand. Why would anyone in their right mind ask for a challenge so difficult that it could end time-tested relationships? Again, I am fully aware this is off-topic, and if anyone can link me to the thread where I CAN ask this sort of question I will gladly delete this post and post my feelings there. But it seems to me that NiM just isn't worth (even post-nerf) the immense amount of trouble and real-life risk to the relationships between the members of your raid team, no matter how good you guys are or how well you know each other. Can anyone please explain to me what makes it worth it? Because I really and truly cannot understand it right now.
  12. lol too cute. BW doesn't give a f*ck about killing off romance options. They have already hinted at most if not all of the current romancables NOT returning in KOTFE (possibly because they're dead) yes yes, but what does that title mean is the real question...
  13. This is truly pathetic. I've soloed this guy an all my toons that have passed Oricon, and 70% of them were in 116's and 108's. My very first toon (lvl 55 tank sin, tank spec, 146 rakata gear) I beat him on the first try with ashara (also in 146's) with no problems. His only heavily damaging attack was Reaping and one interrupt put a stop to that. Seriously guys he does almost 0 damage if you just keep interrupting/stunning, cc'ing. He's only difficult if you're in anything below 146. Even then if you stun/interrupt/cc him at the start of his channel and keep your stun breaker handy for Nightmare, you're in the clear.
  14. It'll be like the Rapture, except the ones left behind will be the happy ones XD
  15. You sir, are my hero! You're making a profit off of an exploit without actually abusing the exploit! You're like a business person selling things to people who may or may not be counterfeiters; You're completely covered by plausible deniability, yet are still profiting from illegal activity! Someone give this guy a medal! XD
  16. I just hope the SI gets to assassinate a rival or something, like Darth Ravage. I'd love to explore the power games of Sith politics a little more. Taking out the Empire's enemies is all well and good, but where are those famous power struggles the DC is so infamous for?
  17. Incorrect I'm afraid. I have the same problem. I am currently on the Class Quest Laying Waste, which if you recall comes after the pre-requisites for this quest for Warrior. I have tried everything from different angles of entrance to wandering around the area to killing it's occupants. No matter what I do that quest will not appear. My log is empty except for my class quest and I have never done the quest on that toon before. And I'm very pissed off that I can't get this quest. I could do without it but it's annoying that I can't do the quest I want when I've already done everything right (supposedly)
