I like to think even with the small numbers of Steamers it is actually acting as a good thing. Just because there isn't like 20k viewers does not mean that its not working in the games interest - In my channel alone in the past week I think I have had up to about 20 people either say they are going to Return to the game or have downloaded the game and wanted to start playing it as never have. Yes I think it takes a bit more of a dedicated player to want to play it but then its also down to the streamer to try and make it so they influence a viewer into playing the game

As I mentioned previously The Lord of the Rings Online is FTP and the FTP Model came out with the release of Moria xpack - this was released in 2008 and is still going strong after 12 years - the 1st 2 years of the game was Sub only This game regularly updates has new xpacks and more - It was recently bought out from Turbine by a group of Devs who couldn't stand what was being done by Warner Bros

Im not one for doing the multi quoting but I think some people missed the point to my last comment. Its about a COMMUNITY MANAGER playing the game and giving INFO out at the same time for 1 HOUR a week. I can tell you it works with LOTRO and the community manager there knows nothing about the game as hes a DDO player, so he learns the game, has info for all the community and has fun at the same time Remember people have different reason to watch twitch etc - some will join a channel to learn, some will want info, some are regular people to a persons stream.. Only last night I had a random bod come in to my own stream and ask if it was worth playing the game as a F2P player So its about having some rep be there to support and give info out and yet CHILL OUT for an hour with the SWTOR community

Iokath dont take that long to get through, is a few quests and then choose which side you want to fight for, before being sent back to oddesen to do the flashpoints takes like an hour at most to do them (iokath)

Would it be bad if I was to say neither of them would be good 1) I killed Senya before I killed her kids 2) I let Theron Die that being said even on the couple occasions I didnt kill any of them I still got together with Lana

One thing that could help raise the profile of not only the game on Twitch/YouTube etc is if someone from the team was actually to take an hour a week to play it on the official channel, or set up a team of players to stream through the official channel. (after all few people mentioned how the viewer count goes up when a dev stream happens) This would be something for the Community Manager to do - if there is actually one?? It gives the platform for people to ask him questions about the game, get info put out there about up coming events etc in the game, articles on progress of updates/xpacks etc etc - He would also be able to give info over to that team of player to pass info over when they stream etc too

I dont mind paying the $15 a month, I do begrudge slightly the lack of some content/updates etc but everyone says that. As for the F2P model, that really could use an overhaul which will never happen while things are under EA - only have to look at a lot of the other games they rip off the communities they have (Battlefield etc) Paying the sub each month should give all updates/xpacks etc as it does F2P should have it that if you dont want to pay a sub you pay for the update (main content update) / xpack at what ever CC price or cash price per char. maybe even change it so the CC costs in store come down so more F2P playerbase can get more things which generates more income - regular sales of things that could be needed by a F2P player being the items would unlock for a char not account Its a model that works really well in LOTRO and has done since about the time of SWTOR first being released

I cant wait to hear about whats coming PvE wise. I know the last road map said that they would have something else for the PvE story people in Fall which starts in Sept. They mentioned about the intro to the new story coming then (update 5.10) - which would be ideal base to give the 6.0 xpack I just hope its not like a 5 min story run through and then have to wait another 1/4 to get another update as has happened so far since Nathema Also have a fare amount of companions missing which people want back and know where they have been

Oh well and they delay the update again to fix this problem..... Personally ive not even had a reply to the ticket I sent in about it hoping a GM or someone would at least progress the quest on for me. Some tell me what are we actually paying subs for?

Its a LET'S FORGET - until Tuesday at least for the update Shame really coz I would have rather had 2 separate downtimes and had fix's put in place for the things that do work on a update, rather than say hey update isn't working on this one item so all the other bits can wait too. Doing multiple fix/updates least shows things are being done and would only be a couple hour downtime each time - I dont think anyone would begrudge a weekly downtime for instance to have fix's put in place

One thing I will admit too, is that every char of mine has a relationship with Lana and are also now engaged to her. So I would be pretty pissed off if anything happened to her. One thing I dont know is if someone is in a relationship with someone else, how did the engagement cutscene work at the end for them. Personally going forward even before the 6.0 Exp they need a wedding with your own char and any of the chars that are engaged/relationship with, that way the exp Starts with honeymoon being spoilt by news of whatever happening and going to where ever etc. Every Companion has a merit to be killed off I think, but as several people mention stop killing people off outright as people love using comp's at different times. We still have a handful of old companions missing, so instead of killing more off lets get them back too first.

TBH when it comes to my Twitch stream I have a base of community that dont give a flying **** what game I am playing. They come and watch me to talk, chill, have fun etc Yes I do lose some viewers when playing SWTOR compared to my usual games but people know what im playing through other means on any given day when I start up. Twitch can be a fickle thing at times - But having a core following, them people really wont give a dam

Easiest way to combat the multi guild controlling everything is double up on the amount of planets being invaded all the time, so have 6 instead of 3

Can I make the point that if you watched the video of killing Theron (didnt actually kill him, you left him behind) he was picked up by some (looked like Satele) - Bet any money he not actually dead, which would lead to more story lines with him later as a nemesis type char in story. For me I <3 Lana, only female relationship in the game and to lose her would be pretty poor form unless you can then have a 2nd F/F relationship with another char if she passed away

There seriously has to be some way of getting through this quest. I know we having to wait for Tuesday for a patch, but I love playing through the story line on all my chars start to finish, why we being forced to play other chars that have nothing to do or even still be forced to play a complete different game But waiting 4 more days after waiting 10 days and being subscribed plus other things (am I really paying for this sort of crappy service) To not even get pushed through the quest so I can continue like someone else has already mentioned happened to them - leads me to also say that once again the 48+ hours on answering a ticket in game is a shambles (specially when its near always an automated response)

For the love of god, this is pathetic CS 10 days so far for something to still be broken that wasnt broken before Been stuck on this quest for I dont know how long now

I know what you mean, im one of them that pay every 6 months and never cancel sub's but am getting to the point now where im tired of paying and not getting anything, or that is how I feel. over £100 a year to get little if anything, and it pains me to say that as I have been an avid supporter of the game since release With that in mind od cost I have paid £1-200 on different game for a lifetime subscription

Its not that I dont enjoy the game, hence why I have so many chars!!! its al about content and how/when its released and the massive time gaps between things and lack of info about said things.. I totatlly understand the latest update with Pvp as I said in previous post and am glad for it But this is about PvE and lack of info and also content being made compared to pricing strategy etc

In reply its not about saying im not going to support the game... its about why should I keep paying 6 month at a time subs when they do not bring any new content out, I play and also stream officially for another game I will not mention here, but they bring out new content that lasts wayyyyyy much longer for a char to get through than it does here. this is also about a lack of information on the pathway as it was said if I recall on the twitch stream that was done that the nathema update was May, pvp was coming out in July (which is late) and then would be more later in the year (yet there is still no inclination as to what or when anything will happen) lets be honest why pay for 6 month Subs and have no update As for saying play content that you havnt done like getting datacrons etc. If you have played the game for a long time like I have you would have collected them all during the massive spates/gaps in time of nothing else to so - its got that bad im am now running my 25th Char through the storylines (this just isn't right)

If thats the case I think I might as well stop subbing till they announce summot, coz to be paying for a game that isn't releasing stuff from one year to the next is rubbish.

My biggest question is when will 6.0 be out, am tired of doing the same stuff over and over again Fair enough this update for august is a nice change for the Pvp crowd, but I think the population of the game is a lot larger for PvE. The fact my guild used to have 30+ people every night online and now are lucky to have enough to get a Operation together speaks for itself specially when people stop playing coz they are bored of doing same thing over and over. I love the game and always get the yearly subscription and even im tired of what is there at the moment, but then im also not much of a pvp'r so this next update has little interest to me. Little info on a pencilled in date might be nice even if 6.0 came out a couple weeks after would be nice, as at moment there is no info at all on what is coming for PvE players

Yup have given all info inc time, place etc They are 2 easy fix problems too 1) Destroyed a Dye by mistake within like 5 mins of buying it on the CM 2) Char had Shae Vizla from the promo other week as a Sub, after doing the Revan quest she's involved with she now isn't in the companions list

Whats the point of creating a ticket in game when it does not even get answered or addressed, I now have 2 tickets open about different things, oldest one is now over a week old.
