Thanks for all the answers, some of them are really good when it comes to headcannoning the BH, even though i'm really not convinced about the Smuggler. I'll give some of the suggestions a go, and if i find it impossible to do then i guess that's the end for me regarding Bhs and Smugglers.

I'm having a serious problem with this. I can get around headcannoning all the other 6 classes because they are either force users or non-force users who are top military ranks, used to giving orders and leading armies. But please, the BH and Smuggler, ffs? What am i supposed to do in these cases? A relentless, heartless man/woman for hire who only seeks credits and fame in the underworld gets to be the Alliance Commander. A scumbaggy, crate-smuggling and mischievous trickster who also seeks only credits and makes snarky comments also gets to be the Alliance Commander. Yeah, sure. These two type of characters would probably run the opposite direction of the type of conflict happening in KOTFEET. Or, at the very least, they would probably never consider becoming the leader of a third faction, and placing the biggest spotlight in the galaxy on themselves. The problem with this is, i just cant play BH or Smuggler bc i know once i reach KOTFEET it'll look silly. Therefore 2 classes in this game are simply dead to me. And also, you cant just skip KOTFEET bc many of the events in the story bits after that are directly tied to it. If you encountered this problem, tell me how you found a workaround pls.

Selling materials to a vendor instead of doing in on the GTN where i could get way more credits. Just because i couldnt be bothered to find a GTN terminal or go back to the fleet or my SH.

The game needs, a serious, a really harsh name purge imho. Most names have been taken since forever, and i mean really most, not talking about iconic ones. Every time i make a new toon, i literally spend 95% of the time coming up with a name, and he other 5% with the actual customization. The name is very important for me, i gotta be satisfied and comfortable with it, otherwise i may end up deleting the toon. I wish they would purge all the names of toons which havent been logged in for the last 12 months or so. That would free up quite a lot of options.

A bit off topic but if anyone can clarify... Having resubbed recently, I intend to replay the story by playing a SW from scratch. As far as i remember, there was a bug in which, if you dont play a certain number of chapters non stop (i think it was chapters 1-9 or so) then a bug happened and you cant romance Lana bc you dont get the proper curscene to do so. If anyone could explain step by step what to do to avoid this bug, or redirect me to a topic in which they explain how to avoid this bug, i'd appreciate it, bc i plan on romancing Lana and it'd kill me if i couldnt due to some weird bug.

A similar case is that one of Quick Travel. Whenever i use it and my toon arrives at destination, it always has to wave (to the "transport", i guess) and if i start walking or running, it's upper body part is straight, it cant move, like if it's a piece of wood. That looks so awkward and it annoys me quite a lot. I'd prefer for the animation to finish instead of being able to move, honestly. Same applies to the topic. I totally get your point, it would be great if we didnt have to choose between the two, but as long as both things arent possible, i prefer it to stay the way it is now.

And this is why this topic is entirely subjective. You'd rather one thing, i'd rather the opposite bc i dont want a weird animation to break my immersion. Therefore it should stay as it was originally designed.

I just resubbed. Dont know how long i'll play the game, but i've always been in favor of making this chapter available somehow. However, it's 3 years old. The price has to be reasonable. It's like buying a limited edition of a game of release day, it's worth much less after 3 years, that's for sure. This is similar. Apparently this is a result of the default auto complete choices for Empire characters. When you auto complete all the previous content before Jedi Under Siege, i think it chooses for Empire characters to kill Koth. This is what happened to you, most probably.

As everyone knows, we will be having a double xp event starting Dec 20th. Personally i'd like to use the event to level some of my alts and see a couple class stories i still havent finished. So, let's assume i have the following: -The full xp armor, aquired during the DvL event (+50% xp) -A xp Boost (+25% xp) -All legacy "Class mission experience" perks unlocked (+36% xp) -The double xp event (+100% xp) But NO guild xp. So, taking into account all this, is it possible to level a character (even overlevel a bit as i enjoy doing) JUST by doing the class missions? I'd like to see the couple class stories i have left, but i prefer to bypass the side missions whenever possible. Sometimes i do the planetary questlines, but not always. Further addendum: would it be possible for future expacs to bring more same gender romances, pretty please? I guess it's too late to romance Ashara with my female Sorcs, or Mako/Kaliyo with my female BHs and agents, but still those options are interesting additions.

I truly cant wait to play Jedi Under Siege, but as of right now there are way too many bugs to even try it, and i'm scared i'll lose all the influence on my companions, or worse. I've always played male Sith Warriors. Decided to start a female Warrior recently, currently level 20 and i've just arrived on Dromund Kaas, so far i'm liking her quite a lot, the voice acting is on par with the male Warrior, quality wise. One of the things i'm looking forward is to romance Jaesa, but i have a problem: i dont know if the romance option is satisfying enough, because i disliked the 2-minute reunions and i was hoping for something better, however i dont wanna spoil it and watch it in youtube. As of right now, my future romance options are Lana and Jaesa, but i fear Jaesa will only have 2 minutes of glory and never speak again, while maybe Lana stays more 'relevant'. I dont know what i'll do once i reach that point...

I agree with the general idea of your post, op. However, i prefer to believe that an acceptable amount of those bugs found will be fixed over time. I gotta say though, i dont plan on touching Ossus any time soon. I prefer to wait 1-2 months and access it without problems than going in now and losing companion affections, breaking the game in some way, etc. I recommend you do the same.

This could be interesting actually. I've chosen Khem with most of my Inquisitors (i have like 6) but chose Zash in 1 or 2 i think. Having her was interesting enough, so if given the option to have her as a permanent companion, i'd like to see where that goes. Now, would some warriors like to have Baras as a companion too? He also appears in Nathema.

Welcome my dude!! You are in for a great, great time, whether you like pvp, group pve or solo content. There's a lot to do in this game, plenty of places to visit and much to enjoy. Pay special attention to tye vanilla class stories (from starter planet until Corellia) because those are imo the best the game has to offer, even though after that there's still a lot to do and the story is quite good anyway. Maybe we'll cross paths in some forest or suburb or desert or outpost somewhere in this huge galaxy. Good luck and have fun!

If on EU, i'd say Darth Malgus is your best bet. Moderately fast pvp pops, ops groups forming quite often on fleet, specially at peak times, and in general quite healthy population. Plenty of ppl in starter/capital planets and the fleet, and some ppl in more advanced planets, just enough to feel the other players' company, but not crowded so that somebody steals your objectives.

More customization options are always requested, especially for Twileks which have been constantly neglected in this regard. Personally i could do without the purple skin tone, but please i think it's definitely about time to add yellow/orange/sith eyes for Twileks. That thing alone is preventing me from making Twilek sith characters, and yes i know it sounds silly but it just breaks my immersion, sorry. Add sith eyes for twileks, even if it's 'not now', but do it as soon as possible.

If there is a Doublexp event ongoing, sure you can. Btw i think a new doublexp event start December 21st iirc. If there is no doublexp event, then i dont think you can level/overlevel solely by doing class missions. Keep this in mind: -You get +25% exp by using complimentary exp boosts, easy to get by doing the story missions. -The experience armor (legacy armor, aquired during the DvL event) provides a total of +50% experience, it's the highest experience boost available, i think. -By purchasing the corresponding legacy perks (increase in class missions xp) you can get up to +36% xp. Somebody correct me if i'm wrong. -Being in a guild with max bonuses provides an extra +10% xp. I have all the above except the guild +10% in some of my toons, so i'll ignore that. This means that i can get a total of +106% exp (boost+xp armor+legacy perks) and still i cant level on the class missions alone. However, i usually do the planetary arcs, some heroics and some side missions, not all, and all this combined is absolutely more than enough to be way overleveled. As an example, i'm currently replaying the Imperial Agent story. I've just finished Nar Shaddaa (the planet's max level is 26 i think) and i'm level 36, that's enough to ignore all side missions in Tatooine and Alderaan, even though i wont do it. Some numbers may be a bit off, right now i cant recall perfectly everything but more or less it's accurate.

Op, i've played myself on and off thru all these years, started playing when RotHC launched. This is to say, i somehow understand where you're coming from. Quite a lot of time ago, i played pvp, but it tilted me so much. Had a few bad experiences in operations and decided to never touch it again. But still, the game has a lot to offer story wise. I used to (years ago) spacebar thru conversations. Now i enjoy every cutscene till the very end. I started playing again about 3 months ago after a year long break, and i'm enjoying it a lot. Replaying some classes (Sorc, Operative) from scratch, and playing others i've never seen (Consular, Trooper, Smuggler). I've never stopped and truly looked around until now. It was amazing to actually look at the glittering towers in Nar Shaddaa, endless deserts of Tatooine, or other swamps, forests and outposts. NPCs and side missions with full voice acting are awesome, all while i cross paths with other players in remote, lost areas of different planets, and i wonder '"where is that person going? What is he/she pursuing? What interesting mission is he embarked on?" So, this works for me. I'm having a lot of fun, i play 100% solo, and still i feel like i'm sorrounded by other players all the time, and it's a nice feeling. I roleplay just a bit, headcannon some stuff, and fully enjoy each class, planetary and side mission. And i couldnt be more excited for the upcoming xpac. My point is, maybe you should reassess your approach to the game, and try to enjoy it in a different way, try to make the most out of what the game offers, which is amazing stories in a star wars universe. At oeast that's what i do, and i also relax (no tilts, no salt, no griefers or quitters and whatnot) and it definitely works for me.

Jokes aside, THAT was the very moment when i started noticing problem too, lol. I tried to write an answer in that thread several times over, but it was futile. The issue has improved apparently, though i still experience weird log offs, more on my pc than on my phone.

Hey there, i've been unable to post for a few days already. Every time i access the forums, it just logs me out. Whenever i login, it takes me to "My SWTOR" page, but when i click again on the "Community" tab, it logs me out again and i see the same threads over and over on the front page, from a few days ago. I'm aware it's hard to understand but i dont know how to explain it better. I dont even know if it will let me post this. Also, whenever i wrote posts, up there on the search bar, it says in red "It's not safe" or something like it. Anyone knows what may be happening? I'm not banned from the game or the forums, havent done anything and havent got any warning, just in case. Something's wrong every time i try to log in to the forums.

As far as i know, this item has always been 2000 CC. The discount on it is permanent, i've bought some of these throughout my time playing the game and always paid 2000 cc. Never more than than, and also never less.
