  1. Already posted in another thread, same as DeannaVoyager... This is freaking annoying... Opened an in-game bug report, ticket, whatever, still the same crap. It seems that PTS doesn't serve as a testing platform at all. I mean it does, yes, but if you freakn do something with the UI, then for FSake test them changes somewhere before releasing it into production! And please BioWare, don't try to tell us that such a thing went "...below your radar" as it is a huge thing painfully visible! There are so many people here who pay their hard earned money to play, thus letting something as this unattended is unacceptable for a company of your magnitude! Fix that bloody thing, ASAP!
  2. So Bioware, what's the thing? Are you gonna fix this or not? As DeannaVoyager said, we are spending more time fixing our UI the playing... This is more than annoying because as a subscriber, we pay2play and this, if nothing else is not something you should neglect!
  3. @ReKabNadI totally agree with you - there is such inconsistency in the crafting levels. The whole idea has become too complex as if the game needs to "split" between two completely different game paths - one, we all already know, and the other dedicated to SWTOR but from a different angle - > CRAFTING and just that. This part of the game should be reworked to suite only to players who's Star Wars fantasy goes deeper into "tinkering'n'crafting" rather than blasting, demolishing and cutting. Basically what I am saying is that it would be a great idea to create a set of toons that become VENDORS by trade - setting up shops that "gung ho" players can visit for goods you created rather then blasting and smashing your way across the Universe. This would not only enrich the current SWTOR game-play, but it would open so many doors to new stories, plots, interactions, economy... Imagine: a HEROIC/FP/OPS where you need an Assassin, an ENGINEER and Juggernaut (whatever an ENGINEER may be). This is just an idea...
  4. We all agree that the STORY is something that has to DRAW you in - "immerse yourself into a time and place" has never been so utterly neglected by people who's only enticement is to shout "press SPACE pls"... It seems people have forgotten that this is still just a GAME that needs to be enjoyed and not become another part of your daily life routine -> for that we have our jobs and marriages. It would be nice to see Devs doing something about this as well - yes, we can't change people and we can't please them all but something needs to be done eventually.
  5. Not bad -> choose your playing experience and skip the unnecessary chatter...
  6. As a Cartel market item!? Sure, why da hell not Bio šŸ˜œ Pop it over 5k CC and that's an easy 35US$ cash unlock as people will be making changes. I have never seen an opportunity for easy $ that Bio has dismissed so easily šŸ¤£. Naaah, not gonna happen, the temptation to cash in is too big... But I think they'll justify it as request "popular demand" šŸ˜
  7. A part form other classes, here is a very nice JGVigilance guide from vulkk's kitchen... https://vulkk.com/2019/11/20/swtor-6-0-vigilance-guardian-guide/
  8. Just a friendly suggestion, I mean more of a question actually - why r u frustrated generally over something that should be fun? It's a game... I am not an swtor expert, I just enjoy the game as it is yet in my experience, parsing and live event (like pvp) can't be compared simply because all the variables that make parsing a "single player event" and pvp a "multi-player event" differ tremendously - start by calculating the shear data difference between single parsing and pvp contest. In my opinion and from a IT point of view, this could be enough to make huge differences - it would be a complete different story if you say that you are doing bad in pvp yet you parse 20-25k each time. Have you measured your "output" during a pvp event? I think there should be a way to do it... I kinda remember that group leaders had a software gadget that would tell ya who is "slacking" in a group... Don't know, if you think that this is very important go search online a bit but I wouldn't bang my head around that...
  9. Thank you for the comment ottffsse! So if I understood you correctly (and I'm a noob returning to the game after a while ), stop with accuracy @110, pump crit and alac and balance the rest with power and mastery? in regards to the gear, as before - 2-4-6 matched sets I guess... "I sense a heavy grinding coming on"
  10. Man, do not think whether you should do it or not! Your guide was the only thing that made any sense - especially for those who don't handle complex lingo well, like me! It was simple and in pictures and it was great! Apart from everything else, it would be greatly helpful to us who kinda "left" the game a long time ago and just recently got back! So pretty please, with a cherry on the top, UPDATE the guide for Guardian / Juggernaut in all its glory details! Thank you very much!
  11. I guess it is safe to say that it's still bit early for all the data to pour in... Hopefully it'll be soon - I kinda use the old guides from 5.0 onward as a starting point. It seams to be logical yet what has been changed, which requirements have been increased/decreased is still a guessing game.
  12. Hello BRKMSN, Very accurate description, exactly what happens to me. You are completely right when you say that it is a bug and most certainly it is not ill intended - these things happen due to various reasons. I wouldn't be honest if I'd say that such bugs don't have their clear advantages yet I would rather see them fixed... If nothing else, for the sake of other players without such "advantage"
  13. Hello Steve & BRKMSN, Thank you very much for clarifying the whole thing! Now, all of it makes much more sense thus only thing that remains to be addressed are those already "completed" missions...
  14. Hello Steve, Thank you for your reply and time taken to answer in such detail - I appreciate it very much. Quite honestly, I don't consider my self as "game veteran" thus my, maybe, "noobish" description, apart from my English that certainly needs brushing up, might have caused a misunderstanding... Let's see... At this moment, I am going over my main toon's Activity Window considering that it is Tuesday and everything is restored to, let say, default values... Lets skip every single offered instance and focus on just one in the list -> Daily Area: Black Hole On the right side of the screen there is a mission list required to fulfill the task -> [HEROIC] Chasing Shadows [AREA] Criminal Crackdown [DAILY] Counter Eco-Terrorism [DAILY] Eyes and Ears [DAILY] Forced Labor [DAILY] Stolen Victory Right, now, considering that the statement and emphasis is on DAILY AREA and DAILY missions, am I wrong to assume that all these should reset after 24 hours (even with some plus time difference due to a fact that I play irregular times and use EU servers...)? Same thing with CZ-198? Emphasis is on DAILY... For me and my understanding, DAILY means an 24 hour recurring event, like your alarm set on a mobile phone for example... If I set my alarm for DAILY recurrence, it will beep every single day at the same time, right? Or something like Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, or whatever we use in everyday life with DAILY as a prefix... On the other side, if something is labeled WEEKLY, it happens once per week and as such I understand the "issue" with Yavin 4 as you have explained. Quite confused to be honest...
  15. That makes perfect sense Steve, that WEEKLY thing on Yavin but it doesn't make sense for other missions which are strictly DAILY based... Regarding the time difference, certainly, that is logical and no issue there. In my case, I am not turning the missions in on the next day but on the same day I pick up the mission initially. In any case, the whole thing has been acknowledge and confirmed as a bug (definitely - got a written confirmation in my toon's inbox) thus what remains is the solution and a closure to this issue. Furthermore... http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=942847
  16. Based on suggestions provided by Krizzia@Star Warsā„¢: The Old Republicā„¢ Customer Service as a reply to my in-game ticket 33049098 I was informed to post my recent findings here considering the fact that my in-game bug report has been well noted yet not addressed for quite some time. I don't know if anybody else has the same issue, yet my Daily Areas from the Activity Window don't reset after 24h as they suppose to do (Heroics from the same window do) - in fact, they reset after a week! Further more, when they do, most of the missions are already underway! Makeb for example... When you pick up the Daily, instead of 6 missions required to finish the daily, I have to do only 5 (the screen should indicate 6/0, yet it shows 6/1). While the Heroic missions from the same window reset after 24h, several of them (Balmorra and Belsavis) have the same problem as the Dailies explained above - they already "contain" completed missions. This might not be a place to post such thing due to a fact that it belongs into a "bug category" yet as somebody mentioned before (a fact already known), your team is heavily stretched and deployed elsewhere, thus not so many crucial things are "fixed" and properly addressed. Suggested by Krizzia, this post should be "seen" by developers (hopefully) thus the upcoming update might contain the well expected and certainly overdue solution for this issue. I certainly understand the problems your are facing - understaffed teams, content issue, pressure to please both your superiors and customers, yet all of you depend on us, people who pay their hard earned money to sustain the whole gaming experience. Therefore news, such as, UI changes, return of companions and all other non vital changes you come up with each update don't make much sense when the essence, the pure functionality is not achieved. It is more than frustrating to grind for command crates the entire day instead of playing and enjoying the game and the content!
  17. Prior to 5.7 (just few days before the patch launch) I've noticed that my dailies, in the activity window, don't reset after 24h - heroics are fine - issued a ticket that came back on the 29th Jan saying that it is a bug and will be addressed in future updates... After introduction of 5.7 just briefly, my dailies came to life but only for the first run... During that run all was good except for Makeb - as soon as I picked up the dailies over there it said that 2 of 6 have been completed... I hope they fix this fast because its frustrating to be a sub and being cut off for some important gameplay, cmd. points and cmd. progression!
  18. I suppose, your issue(s) is related with people/guild, or you did something naughty? Anyway, try changing your toon(s) name(s) - it'll cost you a bunch of CC but you may enjoy a "fresh" start No disrespect, just joking... Previous suggestions are fair enough - if you aim toward end game stuff, raids and lot of action, RE is the place 2B; if you do it single, slow and low and you don't mind "rolling" TP is quite fine...
  19. Ok, that is even worse then expected - I thought you'll say that the game runs sluggish or something like that but error messages of that kind... Sorry to hear that It looks like a problem with the video card/video card driver - the error C7 is related to SWTOR video driver issues - from what I understand, it's either direct X problem or the driver it self... (might be cause you are running Win7 under a VM sim from Ubuntu, right?) I would recommend to either dig a bit deeper into this C7 thing here on the forums or on the net (I did it via google) or simply, drop Ubuntu and go to Win again. It is never a good idea to run a desired software via "bridge" between two OS, as in your case - Ubuntu via VM for Win7 and then SWTOR - there are so many things that can go wrong. I am not saying it is impossible, just it might be more prone to failure. Good luck!
  20. Switch back to Win if you can - as previously suggested, running SWTOR through VM or any other sim software might significantly cripple your in game PC performance... Best wishes thou and if possible, get back to Win...
  21. Just to recap - yes, they did nerf it quite a bit - just made a test run... with approx. 70 free inventory spaces, I made something over 100k (I managed to harvest just one "blue" lockbox that gave me something over 3+k). Roughly, they nerfed the slicing to almost 1/5 (or 1/4) of the previous amount I was able to collect. If I remember well, there were regular, green and blue lockboxes with various $ amounts... Anyway, yes, its a drag thus I can't see the point in doing so simply because people thought it wasn't fair? It is not fair if you harvest and make a real life profit out of it but for most people it was the best and simplest way to get better gear and stuff. As it is, it was a way of legally obtaining credits for sometimes outrageous prices on the GTN, yet I don't see any kind of nerfing when it comes to that part of the game play. GTN is still raging mad yet I don't see any desire to bring some order into that aspect of the game. I see that people are proposing other $ acquiring methods but personally, not my cup of tea.
  22. To be honest, I've tried to do some runs, both on US and EU servers and although fully capped (Slicing 550) I couldn't get the "K numbers" you mentioned not by far - my highest roll was around 2.6k - Am I doing something wrong? I haven't played SWTOR for quite a while so this "K reduction" comes somewhat as a surprise but I guess there are good reasons for that. The good news is that the mobs are falling faster
