So many better things to spend credits on, like Augmentation Kit MK-9s, which run 100k a piece on my server, or Nihilus's Mask, or adaptable Legacy speeders, or color crystals, or...

I don't think it's like that, but people definitely demonize the devs. They are humans, and yes they make mistakes. It's good to give them feedback instead of just raging, and I believe they are doing the best they can with that. Why? Because the best product wins the most people over.

Question, why do I have higher DPS with the Defense/tanking skill tree than with the Death Field/Lightning charge/DPS skill tree?

I believe Sith Inquisitor is True Neutral, actually. He works Light Side to attain Ashara's ghost and later, her loyalty, but also does Dark Side to ensure Khem's true respect. His entire existence revolves around erasing any sorting of binding from himself - not revenge, not power, not victory over the Republic. Just ensuring he can do as he wills, without being forced to serve any higher master. Everyone else is simply a means to that end, or an obstacle opposing it. That doesn't make him evil, as he isn't actively malicious, petty, etc, just a very, very powerful man trying to survive the dangerous life he lives. Sith Warrior is Lawful Evil. He serves the Emperor, and will destroy any who oppose him or his master. Trooper is Lawful Neutral/Good. Fighting a war doesn't always give you the option of being the good guy, but he does what he does for the Republic. The ends justify the means, right? Imperial Agent is the same as Trooper, except Lawful Neutral/Evil. Jedi Consular is Neutral Good. He lives to serve the Order and the Republic, and from the beginning he is sacrificing his very life for that. Bounty Hunter is Chaotic Neutral. Whatever is best in life, good or bad, legal or illegal. I haven't played much of the Jedi Knight or Smuggler storylines, so I can't speak for them, and obviously I've loved and completed Sith Inquisitor. I've also done Sith Warrior, but he's much more of a blank slate than the Inquisitor is.

As much as I understand the love for Togruta, surely they could have made a different colored female one if they wanted it to not be Ashara? And I noticed something. All the male Togruta I've seen are a light blue with dark horns. Females, however, are purple, orange, red, etc with white facepaint. Not that I'm complaining, but is that a lore inconsistency, or what?

What's the experience with the Voss kingpin? I'm having trouble as a Rage Marauder in Basic gear, running Quinn. It probably would have helped if I had noticed the adds sooner, but I'm open to any tips for knocking her down solo

I run CZ, Section X and Makeb, making about 400k, but yes, that is a significant time sink. With Weeklys and the Black Hole, it's more like 650k. I measure these things because I buy stuff for my GF who enjoys SWTOR... and also rapidly draining my credits

You can get 2 million as a 30 easily? BS. Most people are refering to the dailies in the Black Hole, Section X, Makeb, and CZ-198.

You can't target friendlies or anything like that on SWTOR. PVP is pretty restricted, but yes, those people who do abuse it when it is open world are complete and utter tools 99% of the time. Flashpoints are more middle ground. Yes, it is kinda douchey to not do what your role tells you to do, but if your team can accept your shenanigans and survive, it's not so bad.

Maybe you're missing the self-deprecation? It's not calling anyone out, it's saying "Sorry we do these things, but they're really fun, even if they're dumb".

He was making a joke about how Marauders tend to tank as opposed to DPS, like they're supposed to. But we're all secretly guilty of doing this, because it's really fun, but it's still annoying to everyone else.

I stopped here. What's the point of UBER elite gear if not to be able to stomp wantonly? I mean seriously - that is literally the entire freaking point of getting the best gear. That's what this whole thread is about, getting the best gear so that they can own. I support removing Expertise, because it doesn't really do anything but force people to have two separate sets of gear over this very issue. That is annoying and pointless, at least to me.

The thing is, the ships are preset locations, not really items, and you share it with other people (simply in different phases). The mechanics and coding would be custom and probably difficult.
