  1. So you are basically saying that healers should be completely dependant of their derp teammates, if they have no support they should die? And you're wrong, noone, regardless of class can solo kill me on my ophealer if I go full survivalmode, merc is only stupid against maras and pts. If I was dependatnt of my lobotomised teammates I'd already have quit the game because of the insane amount of stupidity associated with pug players. We are not asking for survivability buffs, but we are asking for a much needed hps buff. Neither ops nor mercs have the healing power to be viable in any sort of ranked, even in tr where mobility and dcds metter less they are not viable due to the dps output of thebenemy team being way higher than what is healable 7k dps vs 4-5k hps while 6-7k hps are managevle on a sorc
  2. EXACTLY! That's why blanket heal nerfs won't work. But tbh i think we need to adjust melee gap closers aswell if we remove those insane kiting tools from sorc, because they are reaaly stupid to deal with on non op kite-reliant classes. The first thing that has to be done is create a max two healers one tank linit for regs, two tanks if there's only one healer. After that we can still nerf sorcs and buff mercs and ops a little.
  3. 1st MOAR HEALING DEBUFFS, CUZ I WANNA 1v1 THAT STUPID SORC! First of all, we already have spammable trauma debuffs in the game and they are retarded in design. Giving dps the tools to render a healer completely useless because he will die over and over is not a good idea. This ''Solution'' would completely banish any healing class out of competetive pvp and pretty much make them vanish from regs because noone wants to play an underpowered class that can do nothing but run away for 20 secs and respawn, right? If you can't 1v1 a sorc, that's fine (still if the sorc isn't amazing/guarded/crosshealed you suck if you can't shut his heals down causing his team to die eventually) a healer can't kill you either. Healers should be able to survive 1-2 dps sitting on them if they turn their attention away from their teammates and go full survivalmode. 2nd: turn down expertise healing bonus Won't fix the issue. A nerf to op and mercheals while sorcs still remain unkillable because of pw bubble knockback bubblestun forcesprint etc. would be a step into the completely wrong direction 3rd: nerf guard Would help in regs but would break team ranked, burst is so strong, with a weaker guard matches would be over within the first half minute or so. The only true solution is implementing matchmaking, slightly tuning down sorc survivability (maybe double pw cd) and buff mercheals and to a lesser extend opheals.
  4. There will always be players without any friends to focus down the ****** op operative so they complain about why they are not soloable. A flat nerf to healing would only worsen the burstdamage issue we currently have and balance can only be achiecved by buffing merc and opheals' healing-power and nerf the escape abilities sorcs have.

  6. That's because when ops were op, and now the same with sorcs, they outperform(ed) the two other healing classes in every area of healing, utility single target burst and aoe pressure. I am not talking about huge differences, like an op should be doing about 500 hps more than both other healers on average, mercs should have stronger single target and sorcs a little bit of both. The different desing of the classes requires them to be better at something than the other healers or the spec is gimped. You can see this with ops and mercs: Op's hots are very weak and they ''tried'' to fix our single target (which is btw still awful), Merc-burst is quite good but (imo) too cast dependant and still weaker than sorc st. A hot class should do great pressure healing, mercs should have a slightly (!) harder time with that but have better st while sorcs should be in the middle of the two. Hots->pressure many cast heals -> heavy burst mobility plus many instant cast direct heals-> a little bit of both. Ops also need their single target moved to surgical probe rather than having to cast for a 5k heal that is interrupted anyway, but yeah, that's it. I don't play my commando that often so I cannot suggest any reasonable changes but there's definetly the need for a buff.

  8. We crushed a tripple ap sorchealer team thrice about 2 weeks ago, they stopped qing and whispered us that mara/sniper and sintank was so op and that we all sucked. TR is just a joke atm. We need: Opheals as hpskings, sorcheals as solid overall choice, commando for heavy burstdamage nerf carbonize, add a 30 seconds lockout to it or simply remove it from ap nerf pt aoe damage

  11. This is a great idea, or just give us an ability that helps against interrupts for the next two casts like polarity shift but on a lower cd and less op.

  14. YES THEN TELL ME! I posted once because I thought ''Cool, that's valuable information let's compare... ah why not share it?'' And to be completely honest I probably overread the thing with do not respond or so, I don't remember it, but instantly feeling insulted, instead of simply telling me to cry elsewhere, removing the whole post and calling me an idiot is imo not an appropriate reaction.

I suggest you create another anti sorc thread where we can rant and leave your one alone But seriously though, don't you think deleting everything is a little overreacting? You didn't tell us you didn't want a discussion about the current balance state regarding the information given by you.
  16. Well, hots should be more useful in terms of sustained healing and bubbles for mitigating burst. The problem atm is that ophots are very weak in comparison (they only heal for 14k in ~20 seconds while sorc bubble does 9k in 15 s which is completely efficient healing)and the bubble (though not broken on it's own) adds a huge hps and bursthealing increase to sorcs.

Just for the sake of pointing out how op sorcs are, let's compare force armor (sage) to slow release medpack (scoundrel): SrM ticks for ~1600(with bedside manners and invigorated about 1700) noncrit every 3*(1-alacrity) seconds. In my case that's every 2.7 seconds. It also profits from crit meaning that the average tick will be 1650+1650*69%*38%~ 2080. So if you assume that hots are refreshed at ~3 seconds before expiring (at least that's what I am usually doing) they will have done 7*2080 healing within about 16 seconds so total hps is (7*2080)/16=910 hps So if you hot all 4 people in your group, they are all taking damage and are not affected by healing trauma you will produce 3640 hps. This seems stronger than bubble but you mustn't forget: -sorc hps also comes from wandering mend and revivification, alongeside much much stronger singletarget heals -Bubble cannot overheal, isn't affected by trauma, doesn't require management -bubble is an OP tool for ''softening'' burstdamage -hots can fall of due to cc and are very unforgiving if you let them drop All in all bubble+revivification+wandering mend>>SrM+kolto cloud, Noone can seriously say that ops are the hpsclass anymore. There are moments when sorcs are outshone by aoespamming ops in aoe heavy reg 8s matches but generally speaking sorcs have more hps than ops. In TR I usually manage ~6k with my sorc. With my op it's hard to achieve 5k hps. It's totally imbalanced atm, sorcs have the best utility, mobility, singletarget bust, sustain and they rock hps...
  19. sounds good. ny smuggler is a little scrapper and he looks a little stupid when punching ppl but bt3 is just ... maybe there should just be more customization regarding body type. but hey it's neither story nor cm stuff so bioware doesn't care.
  20. teams with more healers/ tanks are in an advantage because of trinity game design. Killing one role only because it SEEMS to be gamebreaking is not the way to go. We need to balance the healers out and add matchmaking. I don't see any of your issues requiring a flat and ugly nerf to healers, if the problem can be fixed by introducing basic matchmaking. The problem is healerSTACKING not healers in general (well sorcs are still op but yeah)
  21. Yeah, give heal debuffs, make all healers soloable and cripple merc/ opheals even more. Okay then I want damage debuffs that reduce your overall damage by 15% to compensate. Sounds stupid? Nothing can fix this exept TARGETED balance changes an matchmaking, not nerfs with the wooden hammer to a classrole that annoys your awesome dps....
