This is how you lose people that have been playing for years with one patch. I loved the Sith Assassin because of the abilities, and now they are gone. I used Phase Walk all the time, for PVE, I never PVP, so I don't want to hear excuses of how it's only for PVP. It's NOT! I got all of my datacrons with it, and there are many times I use it when making hard jumps. It can really save when you have lag, and is great for exploration and getting to hard places. Also, my Force Lightning is gone, because someone decided they don't want Assassins to play ranged anymore. I love ranged, and combo ranged/melee is the best. Even in WoW, I played a Demon Warlock, because it is ranged and Melee. I hate melee only, and now, my toon, that I have been playing for years, has been converted to exactly what I hate. One stupid decision, and my entire class is gone. Deleted from existence. I started leveling a Lightning Sorcerer, but it sucks. I really miss my Assassin, and it no longer exists after 5.0. It was nearly perfect. To make such a radical change was really stupid. It has ruined the game for me. It's just not fun anymore. Combine that with none of the new companions ever getting fixed so their armor an be changed, and it's obvious that you are under staffed, and taking shortcuts, in all the wrong directions. At least I was able to play my old companions that their armor could still be changed, but all of the new ones are terrible. Maybe it's time to go back to WoW and suspend SWTOR for a few years. See if it survives or ever gets fixed.

Flying mounts? Are you crazy? What's next? Space travel? Swimming? To be fair, WoW is set a medieval era, and they have magic and dragons. But Star Wars just has spaceships, The Force, and galactic travel, how could they have discovered flight and water travel???

I quit WoW to play this, and this is one of the biggest things I miss. They are in the dark ages on some features. I was very surprised that you cannot Legacy Friend someone. This, and flying mounts, and under water would be great! Here we have a game with space travel, and it's pretty 2D or Fly-By-Wire in a lot of ways. I know, WoW has 10+ years on it, and I hope it evolves. I am liking many things much more that WoW over all.

Yes, I agree. It's beyond stupid. At least we can use the console and restore our old companions and use them, but doing that doesn't help the new story line. I hope they get a clue and fix it soon!

Then they are lying to you. It is not only possible, it's already in the game. If you want to see for yourself, get the Consular's Headgear, and watch your hood go down. I am using it with the Handmaiden set. The problem, is that I cannot find a Cartel item, so it can work from level 1 and be adaptive. All they need to do to solve the issue is add a head item to the existing Cartel set; Covert Energy Armor Set. There are so many bugs to fix, still in the game since RotHC that could be easily fixed, and are not, so don't hold your breath. I just spent hours looking for a level 1 Cartel head item to replace the Counselor's piece, but not having any luck. If anybody knows of one, please let us know.

Actually, I just did this scene, and it is a critical turning point. If I had been working on Lana all this time, and then missed it because of how badly this question is worded, I would be pissed! I am so glad I looked it up first! I recently subscribed, and quit playing WoW as much, thinking of changing over, but there are SO MANY bugs like this, that can mess the whole game up, and no way to reverse it. I have so many open tickets, and they never respond! I see no difference from being Free to Play. What am I paying for? It's not the support. I am glad I looked this one up first, and it saved me before making the wrong choice. The way the question is worded is crazy, and I feel sorry for those that made the wrong choice. He says it, so you think, it could mean him, but it doesn't. Be careful! you should answer [flirt] for either one! They need to have a better way to help customers when things go horribly wrong. I like the storyline, and that is one of the nice areas, where it beats WoW (and it's Star Wars!), but if they mess it up so bad, and ruin people's entire story line because of things like this, they are going to lose people out of pure anger. I am still on the fence, and just getting used to googling every single questionable conversation. At least in the previous expansions, you could press escape and back out if things went horribly wrong! They also need to fix follower appearance armor, the AFK problems, when you are actively clicking on options and it logs you out for being AFK, and all of the graphics errors in the cutscenes, where it shows you wearing the wrong armor! (in the end of this scene, suddenly I was wearing a helmet!. Most of the time, it screws up my head slot!) The last 2 are old bugs from RotHC, and still aren't fixed! (even with the new appearance tabs) WoW is losing a lot of subs, and I think SWtoR is gaining a lot, but if they want to be serious, they are going to have to step it up!

Yes, this is frustrating, and WoW got it right. You have to mark which mounts you want as favorites, then only those are pulled from the random mount function. I was trying to figure out how SWtoR did it, and now I see that they really messed up. I just wasted a lod of time trying to figure it out. It makes the random mount function useless. I will go back to a single mount until they fix it. It looks like you would select which ones by lighting up the LED on the button itself, and I was trying to figure out how to toggle them on/off. All they have to do is fix it so it works this way. No interface changes needed. Just toggle the little light on the button, and only those lit will pull from the random mount function.
