Sorc / sage can be extremly deadly in the right hands. Just learn how to kite, you will die for sure but you'll learn how to bring a few enemies with you

So you saying use the pvp wep but just replace the crystal and it will still bolster? Doesnt it gets bolstered to gear lower than conq tho ?

As the title say, i'm asking because i see lots of people with a power gem crystal on their wep instead of an expertise one... Im a 55 madness sorc and wear the conq lightsaber.. Would it be better to replace the expertise crystal with a power one ?

Thanks for your reply and time. Sniper seems more my playstyle as I was a hunter in WoW and a Sniper in FPS games, I like the playstyle of being solo, do your things and get kills.. I was worried about sniper tho that since they're turret style they'll get killed by pretty much any melee that could get close enough. Also, how's their ressource management ? Is it easy to manage once the opening is done ? Sorry if I'm unclear, I mean unlike the assassins, once the opening is gone you're out of energy and the burst is pretty much gone for a few secs, do sniper get constant dps or just a few good seconds of burst per 2-3 minutes ? Sorc sounds interesting as well but I wish there were some kind of ''execute'' ability on them like the one on sniper, sith warriors and assassins. Dot is a different playstyle from sniper and i'll need to watch a few vids to see if I like it. Thanks for the replies again, much appreciated

i'd keep the bolstered to give a chance to fight to new lvl 55, but i'd lower the gap between conqueror gear and bolstered so it actually means something to be full pvp gear

Hi, Getting bored of playing my marauder. Looking to lvl a ranged dps and i wanted to read your opinions about which ranged dps would you reroll and why? I know some of you will say play whatever you like, don't listen to anyone.... I don't know these classes very well and i dont feel like spending 2-3 hours lvling a class to 10 to get my advanced class, then a few more hours to get some decent skills and spells, so you cannot really know what a class feel like until lvl 20... I would like to read your pros and cons about sniper, sorc and merc. And im looking from a dps perspective, no "well if you like to heal go sorc or merc" Thanks guys ! Sorry for the bad english

I have a 55 sorc. I'm not a pro, i'm sure you're not either. If you put alot of time practicing, reading and pvping a really good sorc can destroy any classes. But decent sorc (like me and 90% of sorcs) just gets killed by most melee classes. Yes you have your bubble , force speed and heals. Your bubble usually break before the GCD is finish, and you will see that 70% of your games will be running from the fight to heal to full... Snipers have more useful tools, they're ranged dps and unlike sorc, while in cover snipers cannot get charged by melees, and you have a spell which makes you immune to stuns for a couple of seconds.. dps is alot better on snipers and I feel they are more usefull to a group than a dps sorc. But that's just my 2 cents. In the end play what you like because a good sorc will dominate in pvp, so does a good sniper.
