  1. There's a minor bug with the Kinetic Combat Shadow abilities list in the Combat Proficiencies window: The lvl 26 ability (Slow Time) is listed at the top, above the lvl 10 ability (Kinetic Ward). I believe it's been bugged this way since 3.0.
  2. Treek always shows Imperial class buff icons, even for Republic characters. Some threads about this: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=888319 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=858681
  3. Yes. Heaven forbid people actually want others to be civil. Well that meaning also usually uses it in the plural.
  4. Still not fixed. Trailblazer is missing its icon for Sentinels as well.
  5. Haha, I was once on AHG, when I was guarding our pylon but was overwhelmed and defeated. Then when I asked why no one had come after my inc calls, someone blurted out "You didn't say you meant on the pylon!!!!" Not to mention that we just had that one pylon, so there wasn't any confusion over which one I meant. Or another match on AHG where the same one person capped and left the pylon after every explosion, despite calling him out on it every single time, and even throwing a futile vote-kick on him. We even got double-capped once because of him, only rectified because we double-capped them later on. It's stuff like this that almost makes me wish I could perma-ban these players from PvP.
  6. You're assuming that every player only has fun when they're min-maxing and milking the meta and not for the social experience, experiencing new content, having laughs with friends/guildies, etc. Also, for that increased "specialization" you get the long GF queue problems, as well as tanks (and to a lesser extent healers) who act like jerks because they know the group will put up with them, tank + healer guild groups who bully the non-guildies into doing what they want, "Tanks" and "Healers" wiping/disbanding the group because they're actually damage specced, very inflexible group comps, etc. I never said that the trinity literally originated and was only used in WoW. What I said was that SWTOR has the trinity mainly because WoW has it too. There's a reason why SWTOR is often described as "WoW in space" and "unable to break out of the cookie-cutter vertical leveling system." No, not even close. There maybe some characters that are better at one than others, yes, but the number of SP games with a designated tank-healer-damagers is far from "most." Not to mention there are genres other than RPGs and FPSs. Also the role is called damage, not "DPS." DPS = damage per second. But w/e, semantics.
  7. Brian Bloom's "I could do this in my sleep... maybe I will" and "I'm good... what can I say?" lines say hi.
  8. Sure. If bads get the same penalty whenever they don't call incs, all ignore inc calls thinking "it's always some else's job," don't heal, cleanse, or use Force Armor/Static Barrier on teammates, are nowhere to be seen near the ball carrier in Huttball, cap an objective and then leave it without telling anyone, leave Commandos or Sents to solo guard objectives against stealthers, join a WZ without an advanced class, etc.
  9. So we're getting 3 new utilities...but still only get 7 utility points total? AND they're all getting pushed back 5-8 levels? Do you ever actually think changes through, or do you make changes just because they "sound good?" And Blade Dance...really? The reasoning for that change is so lame. But at least that's just a semantic change. Maybe that's because it IS "disappointing." Just a thought.
  10. So you prefer the trinity, when it's one of the major contributors to the problem... As for me, the trinity is a horribly outdated concept only in SWTOR because "WoW has it too," while causing a host of other problems (this thread topic, among others) so I'd say good riddance in 4.0.
  11. I'd say definitely at least drop the increased healing from Life Ward/Corrupted Barrier that bastion gives.
  12. Once Bioware actually tells us stuff, sure.
  13. And sages/sorcs with Phase Walk and moving with Barrier...
  14. Meh, since I'm criticizing you, you're naturally going to claim I'm "misinterpreting" you regardless if I actually am or not, so yeah... have fun with that. Anecdotal evidence is always reliable. Anyway, I already stated my opinion, though I'll probably run through KOTFE at least once.
  15. Considering that the post he was talking about was pretty much just "You numbskulls who are against the direction of KOTFE are just out to get Bioware!!!", no, you really can't. Not to mention that you seem to think that if someone doesn't like 100% of SWTOR, they think that SWTOR is the worst game ever and that BW devs should go die in a fire... which is what his "response" was about.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v622/BluesStringer/Point_over_your_head.jpg
  16. No, his analysis was pretty much spot on. Your mind-reading skills need some work.
  17. Um... did you read this thread at all? How you jumped from a rather sarcastic thread on how much CC Shadows/Assassins have to "OMG you people want Infiltration/Deception to be the worst spec in the game!!!!" is beyond me.
  18. Yes. Heaven forbid Shadows/Assassins have any counterplay. He was talking about 30m Low Slash, not Force Lift/Whirlwind.
  19. Probably because saying things like "You idiots, do what I say or get kicked!!" as well as without explaining why, is just as rude and inconsiderate as people who pretend not to hear genuine advice and continue doing what they were doing before, and/or with a "**** noob, I'm carrying this idiot loser group so shut your mouth!!!" thrown in. Now if you do politely give legitimate advice and the person responds like the above, that's different.
  20. Well, the 2 M's are in MMORPG for a reason. Unless BW plans on getting rid of all the anti-social mechanics in the game for KOTFE (trinity, mob tapping, loot rolling, having to repeat the story content for every player in the group, etc.) and thus making it more like GW2 and less like WoW (no specialized roles needed, individual loot, all players who participate in a fight get credit, no waiting around for interactable objects to "reset," etc.) then yeah, you can see why several people are quite peeved about KOTFE's direction. And don't forget the solo-mode FPs. I wouldn't be surprised if group FPs end up pretty much dead, with everyone going "Why should I group for them when I can just run them solo?" We're already seeing the "why should I group for anything when I can level up just by doing solo content instead" attitude around with 12xp.
  21. Right, because giving non-subs unlimited access to WZs is giving them "all the content without paying for it in the end," as WZ access is literally the only difference between subs and non-subs. Sorry, try again.
  22. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeal_to_accomplishment Probably because you WERE wrong. The Mirialan, Chiss, and Rattataki social abilities (Focusing Ritual, Mission Review, and Shadowbox respectively) are regen abilities, same as Recharge and Reload, Meditation, Channel Hatred, and regen items. You may notice that if you use them, your health and resource rapidly regens at the same rate as if you used your "normal" regen ability or a regen item. All except for BHs, which is the bug being discussed here.

    another QQ

Well dps = damage per second, so I'd say it's pretty impossible for any class to do 3,000,000+ dps.
