You fixated on the one sentence about gearing as if that was the most important issue😂😂😂 either way you are wrong 6.0 is nowhere near the same as 7.0. I spent plenty of time journeying and looking around Onderon and Mek-Sha, can’t really say the same about new Manaan instance. 6.0 = 2 new planets 7.0 = 0 new planets. Unless you actually count Manaan. Lol.

Yeah no. You’re leaving out that 6.0 also brought us two brand new planets with entirely new areas to explore. 7.0 brought us one planet (Manaan) that we already had previously, and most of the assets in the Manaan area are just reused pieces from previous content - not to mention the terrible rain they have in the new area when if they really put any effort into it at all they could have used the nice Dromund Kaas rain from KOTET chapter 2. 7.0 also screwed the gearing system that was (almost) universally enjoyed. Also I’m glad you brought up the bugs because this was the biggest buginfested expansion since 4.0. I have tons of other stuff 7.0 did that I can complain about. So no, 6.0 was not ExActlY tHE sAmE as 7.0.

My disappointment comes from the terrible looking “modernized” ui, them castrating the classes for the combat styles system, them doing a terrible job at rebalancing the game and companions for 7.0, and oh also the 200+ bugs they implemented with 7.0 including their bugged Malgus fight that I still can’t seem to beat. I won’t even go waste time and attempt to try it again until they say it’s fixed but even then I won’t hold my breath because I have zero faith in their ability to fix anything at this point. I was fine with a lack of content as long as the game was running smoothly and fun to play, but the uis combined with all the other cruddy changes makes things feel like we’re playing an in-dev test version of the game. I could be here all day complaining about other things besides the lack of story content like Seasons and how terrible the Manaan rain looks (they had awesome rain for the Dromund Kaas instance of kotet. Why couldn’t they just use that? Are they really that lazy???) and the plethora of other things they’ve screwed.

I think that’s the difference between those of you defending BioWare and those of us disappointed with the expansion, I think a lot of us really love the game and it’s our favorite game but for people like you it’s “oh well” and go play another game. I don’t WANT to play another game but with how bad things are with SWTOR currently I really have no choice. My sub runs out in 27 days I was hoping they’d fix the game by this month so I could have a reason to resub but it doesn’t seem like that’s happening.It makes my heart sad.

Maybe they need to increase the limit, but I don’t think that’ll stop the people complaining about having their fweelings hurt. I’ve never seen them refund someone because they bought something they didn’t want. Also for future reference to track your cartel coin purchases you can go to My Account > Cartel Coins tab to see all of your ingame cartel coin transactions. But as for them refunding you especially for as something as trivial as 50 cartel coins I wouldn’t hold your breath.

Correct. As I said in my initial post there’s little to no chance they revert. I don’t know where I indicated surprise?? I don’t think you read my post at all. I have 40 sub days left and that’s basically how long they have to improve the game at all before I bail for good. I can dumb it down for you this way: if I bought a spa membership where they charge you for every month and cancelled while still having half a month left, I don’t get the previous days refunded I still have that whole rest of the month that I paid for. Of course I am going to use it while I still have it and get a modicum of my money’s worth. But I’m not even on that much anyways anymore, it’s mainly me on the forums seeing if anything improves. Unfortunately nothing seems to be improving. I don’t know where I said I was actively playing. I pretty much only get on once every week for ten minutes to check and see if things are fixed and or to complain about how bad 7.0 is and then log off. Also I don’t know where I said or showed that I “vehemently” hate the game?? I love SWTOR it WAS my favorite game before they destroyed it with 7.0. THATS why I’m here. Exactly how I feel dude. I would’ve paid for my sub + a new expansion before 7.0, but now things are just so terrible I don’t plan to keep paying them if they aren’t giving me a product worth the money. About 40ish days left on my sub so that’s about how long they have to prove to me they can fix things. I would definitely stay subbed if they went back to 6.3/ 6.x whatever, but that’s almost certainly not happening.

I’m still confused on why you guys (BioWare) haven’t reverted to 6.3 yet. Is it a pride issue?? Because it seems to me like you are either a) stringing people along to keep them subbed and buying until the last possible second before shutdown announcement or b) too prideful to admit you rekt the game with 7.0 and we should expect every update henceforth to be a (minimal, by the looks of it) bug fixing update. So which is it? Because I know I’ve said it on forums before but my sub is running out and y’all aren’t doing anything to convince anyone that they should sub again.

Yeah things are pretty much done for SWTOR, I think we have until 2023 at most. They want people spending until the last possible minute so of course they won’t tell us how things are going. They did the same thing with SWG - when SWTOR was announced they told people there would be room for two Star Wars mmos and that things would be continuing normally but sure enough they announced the shutdown for galaxies. I am past the stage of denial and anger with SWTOR and that is why I won’t be staying subbed. Makes my heart sad because this is the last continuing Star Wars Legends content and with this gone I have no new Star Wars to look forward to.

You could try Star Wars Galaxies Legends. Just started on there myself after playing for awhile on the regular swgemu and I’m really having a blast. It’s what I’m moving to once my sub here is gone.

I would’ve been fine playing and paying still if they just kept the game at 6.3, or released the Manaan story as 6.4 without the bugs and garbage that came along with it. I don’t know why they updated to 7.0 when it obviously was not ready for live servers. It looks like we are playing an in-development version of the game.

Ok well good for you. I’m just saying how I feel currently and how I will definitely be unsubscribing unless there are some improvements. I’ve been here since before 2.0 and when Makeb came out and I remember the complaining, but never in all my time of playing this game has an expansion made me want to stop playing like 7.0 has. If you want to just disregard everyone who has an issue with 7.0 as incessant complainers that’s fine I guess but don’t expect me to keep playing lol. They got me until my sub runs out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can we just have the game reverted to 6.3 and then you guys add all the 7.0 story content to that as 6.5 or something? I have about 60 days left of my sub and I really love this game been subbed forever but it’s kinda been rekt with 7.0 and I don’t plan on resubbing at this point in time unless things start getting fixed. I just have no motivation to log on with 7.0 and if I do it’s only to complain in genchat about 7.0 for a few minutes and then log off. The PTS going back up does absolutely nothing for me since you guys ignored PTS feedback about how bad 7.0 was, sorry if I’m being really negative I’m just really disappointed with the current state of SWTOR. Anyways there’s my nagging rant, hopefully 7.1 is an improvement :/

The title is self explanatory. I have sent many tickets during the span of the last two years and every time I am told "thanks for telling us, it'll be fixed in the next patch". Will it actually be fixed at some point, or should I just delete my Inquisitor and restart?

Ello everyone! I don't know about anyone else, but I have noticed people in the Outlaws Den that are PvErs, and then complain about getting killed. They attacked me first, I'm not one of them bloodthirsty fools attacking PvErs. What do you guys think about the PvErs?
