  1. This build still gives you a way to survive a sentinel with the decent amount of healing you have from the Corruption tree, it also opens up a lot more group utility in the fact that you can heal your teamates more effectively. Resurgence -> Double Dark Infusions proc glitch for 1.4s casts. You can even pick up an additional 8% healing on yourself, at the expense of a few things, for even more survival. Also with the extra point in the Lightning tree I do pick up a 50% chance to proc Electric Binding, the root on Overload. I honestly don't feel 100% is necessary because the only reason I'd need to use it to survive would be against multiple enemies, say a 2v1, I'm pretty much guaranteed one snare. You can then follow this up by casting WW on the guy who wasn't snared, he has to run back in anyways, and then burst down the guy who was previously snared that's still bound by Overload. Considering I mainly heal, and am focused a lot as a result, I'd usually end up binding 3 out of the 5 or so people who zerged me when I tried this spec because they thought I was healing still.
  2. I would consider the 13/12/16 (or whatever variation of it you run) a no DoT build. You still use Crushing Darkness, but you're avoiding the useless skill of Affliction and just going straight into Chain Lightning -> Wrath Procs for all your damage. If you're saying you don't even want to use Crushing Darkness with your wrath procs, then you're just being bad, that's a lot more single target damage than Chain Lightning ever would be. I would argue even if you did go further into the Lightning tree for Lightning Barrage your DPS would be on par if not a little lower considering you wouldn't benefit from the 10% bonus AoE damage in the Healing tree, which makes the tri spec pretty OP for damage. People in my guild have hit nearly 600k with it.
  3. Healing is amazing in warzones and you can still do plenty for objectives. In huttball you can run ahead and pull someone, you can keep the ball carrier alive, you can use Overload to knock the enemy that's swarming him away, etc. Huttball is where you are most useful, and on the sith side you get a lot of huttball. As far as Alderaan and Void Star goes, you can't be everywhere but you can do a lot. On Alderaan you should just sit near the objective and if you see someone capping pop Overload, or DoT them with Affliction, I once defended 1v3 with Affliction ticking on them to keep them from capping. Killed one and had the other two below 50% before my guildies showed. As far as void star goes, you are a little bit more useless, the only thing I can honestly recommend is keep you camera zoomed all the way out and look at the door every few seconds, keybind Force Storm if you haven't already and pop it, or Shock, when you see someone on it. Either way, if your team can do any decent damage keeping them alive is extremely useful.
  4. 880,529 Healing, 969.75 hps This is the highest I have personally gotten, my average was 400k before the patch, I haven't done a whole lot of warzones since the patch but I think I'm getting 500k+ as an average now. I have 3 other screenies of 680kish heals when I was trying to break 700k, I wouldn't bother screenshotting anything less than 1mil at this point. Had a 689k Huttball just before this, but like I said in the above, didn't bother screenshotting it, too much effort with 2 monitors and to have it come out looking like crap either way. Spec is the standard 31/7/3 build. Gear is 4 pieces centurion, belt, helm, pants, and offhand, rest champion, I'm only 57 valor. My Relics do not have any Expertise bonus either, and to top it off I rarely ever use them.
  5. This is similar to the spec I'd run, honestly I prefer not having the slow from conspiring force simply so that I can have Force Suffusion for when people are stacked on the ball and in Void Star. I would argue your AoE heal is one of the most important skills when it comes to Void Star healing. If I had to ditch any points for it it would honestly be Sith Purity, improved purge. Our Purge only works on other sorc skills, so it is almost utterly worthless unless you are running and need another instant cast heal, which the extra 500 or so won't help you on most occasions. If you really wanted both points, then I guess I'd take one out of Seeping Darkness, I'm at 38% crit, could honestly careless about getting anymore at this point. So in other words, you should take the improved AoE healing by 10% from Force Suffusion, and if you really want the slow on Affliction, get rid of Purge (an useless skill to begin with), and 1 point in Seeping Darkness. I didn't open this build, I'm sure it would work perfectly fine if you're interested in a sustained heal with better damage, but I would like to comment on what you said after the link. Force Surge is HUGE in PvP, I don't know how you could say any differently, maybe you're just letting too many people die for more medals? I was oom 80% of this warzone even using Innervate on CD and the Consumption, regardless of whether or not I crit. I would be healed back up through my 4-piece set bonus and my AoE HoT / Resurgence. I have never had a warzone, besides when I was against level 10s, where I didn't need Force Surge to keep my Force up. Either you aren't looking hard enough for people to heal, or your opponents are baddies. Sorry if the image linked is a little crappy quality, the only screenshot option is Paint and Paint + Photobucket don't mix very well if you have two monitors. That's the best I can get it, if you can't read it I had 880,529 Healing in 1 Void Star, 969.75hps. I'd highly recommend this build, its slightly different from mine in that instead of Improved Purge it has 1 point in the slow on affliction. Like I said before, Purge honestly only works against other sorcs, and I personally find I can laugh at their damage, and the GCD it wastes is a lot worse for overall healing when it comes to saving lives. So with that said, I personally never touch Purge unless I'm running and want to remove Force Slow / Chain Lightning's slow. Edit: As far as doing damage and getting medals, well to put it bluntly, your damage blows. I will dps in some warzones when there's no one to heal, or if I see the ball carrier, but for the most part I'm just being counter productive. Also I can get the assassin medal on any class, except maybe 1 Operative on my server, but I think they may have quit already.
  6. This would be broken as well because of the open faction PvP on Tatooine I believe, not sure which planet it is but you get what I'm going for. The reason being is people would PvP until they got a bounty, and as soon as that happened they'd go there with a guildy or friend and have their friend kill them in some remote corner, before giving them the credits / title benefits. People would even roll a alt on the opposite faction just to bounty someone before switching over and again killing them for free stuff in the open PvP environment.
  7. You mock PvP'ers ability to PvE and then you bring WoW into the mix. A game that a computer tells you what to do for every boss fight and all you have to do is listen to it to succeed, that would be boss mods btw. I hope if you're talking like this you at least played Vanilla / TBC, or tried Yogg'Saron Hard Mode when it was still impossible, otherwise I find this to be highly uncredible garbage. On a side note, the Ilum change is absolutely horrible for this game. I'm not sure how many people bothered to realize this but you can get past the two main turrets in both bases and sit right on their flight master. With a server like mine that out numbers the Jedi somewhere between 1:4 and 1:7 (that's what the jedi tell me at least . . . ), we'll certainly have at least 5 people sitting on their flight master, who is friendly to us, and gank people as soon as they land. PvP in Ilum will be far from fair, even if the servers were balanced people would just end up ganking at the flight master.
  8. There's no point considering you can't get medals past 300k . . .
  9. Considering you can buy a piece of centurion armor from 13 fails, which you've had, isn't the argument that it takes "so many champion bags" to get a piece of champion gear rather than centurion? Either way you should have the full set by 60 valor if not near it, at least from my guildies experiences.
  10. I get the feeling that this is what he means by healing being broken and yes I have gotten the Immortal title a few times as a healer, but it doesn't mean its not broken. A tank in my legion can get 14 medals consistently, 16 if he had the rakata medpac. A few of the DPS in my guild also average 10-12 medals, I will admit we do farm the other team if we've got a premade going at the end, but you do get more as a DPS / Tank than a healer even if I did try for the damage / kills medals. No Rakata Medpac, or any other Biochem items, were used in that screeny ^^
  11. I would argue as a healer in PvP, I have avoided almost all PvE for the three weeks I've been 50, Alacrity is insanely nice. If you want to go with the argument that you run out of force faster, then sure you do, but there's more than just one way to get it. Honestly as I'm about to use Revivification I pop consumption right away because I'll easily heal it back within a few seconds. This allows me to usually get 2 Consumptions without losing health, but even then I'm rarely oom enough to the point where I have to do that, unless I've just been spam healing someone through the entire team and can't stop between casts to waste a GCD on Consumption without risking killing them. I would also argue its uses in PvP is even more useful when you take into consideration how often you get interrupted. I have faced teams before that interrupt my Revivification 4 times before I can successfully get it done, along with my Innervate, or any other heal for that matter, and the alacrity I have helps me cast skills that with an extra .3s cast I'd previously be unable to. It also helps me get extra ticks off my Innervate before it gets interrupted further increasing the chance I can get my force back. Despite what I've just said though, as someone who's used the Biochem alacrity adrenal, I would argue you should avoid it through things like relics etc. It would be a lot more useful if you could get a Surge buff or something else along those lines. The reason being is, at least for me, when I pop adrenals its because someone is taking a lot of damage and my main heal in that situation is the double Dark Infusion proc which honestly doesn't really benefit very largely from alacrity. With the 10% Alacrity I gain from the adrenal I find it is insanely useful for Innervate and Revivification, but as far as popping it in an emergency to keep someone up its not as useful simply because of how low Dark Infusions cast time is already with the Resurgence buff. So end result in PvP, in my opinion at least, Alacrity as an oh **** buff, not nearly as good compared to others. Alacrity on gear, insanely useful.
  12. Decent guide however you can't get two procs out of the reduced force cost on Dark Heal, the same goes for using Revivifications reduced cost after a skill prior to it. The reason for this being is the cost for the skill doesn't go off until after its cast, so even with the glitch you'll be charged the full cost of 46 or 91 respectively (when talented) if you use them second. The better combo would be Dark Heal -> Dark Infusion, but personally I avoid it at all costs. I might start using it in minimally intensive PvP situations, considering all I do is PvP, but otherwise its an useless skill for me that I rarely touch. I also don't believe you get the crit benefit on Innervate if you use it second, but I could be wrong on that, I rarely follow up a cast with that if I'm going to use the double proc glitch.
  13. Protect a healer, they sit in the fire or lava. 50% of damage is split with you, that's the way the game works, I don't know why but it does. Very easy way to get 4 medals, 2k in 1 life, 10k in 1 life, 10k, and 50k protection medal. This is 200 valor and I believe 20 commendations that you may not have gotten prior. It takes a long time to get to 60+ valor and people want to go about doing it as quick as possible.
  14. Pure lies, I've been top healer every game I've played since I respecced and rarely ever get medals unless its a premade. I had a game where I went 565,330 Healing Done on Void Star, it was a pug, so no guard, and I still managed to only let 2 people die the whole game. My team ended up losing and I had 0 MvP votes. This is rather consistent for me and I usually get 400,000 or so at this point regardless of the warzone, yet I never get medals unless I queue as a group with my guild.
  15. You can get 50k in about 30s if you sit in the fire or lava in huttball.
  16. From my experience PvP'ing I don't belive this to be too critical at all. Just about all the Republic are geared, at least the few that bother PvP'ing. I'm almost always guranteed to go up against a Premade group of Thirsty, Arc, Aphotic (My own legion), or some other group of 50s with half champion set if not more. There are already multiple people (maybe 10) with 60 valor or higher. A more noticeable person on my server, Ceilingcarpet, operative, crits for nearly 6k with his main skill and 3k regularly on auto attacks, lots of the other geared players, as in juggernauts, marauders, etc. don't crit nearly as high but they do hit for upwards of 5k consistantly. I face these players on a rather regular basis, as in at least 10 matches a day against them, so I find it extremely hard to believe that I'm being too critical when I say to make a video of something other than people sub 50 or in bad gear.
  17. Nice video but I'm not entirely satisfied with it. You are definitely aware of your surroundings, as in when you noticed Xgen taking the expertise buff in stealth before killing him on Alderan, and you are good at what you do. However, with that being said, I am slightly disappointed. As someone who is hoping to try out Lightning in PvP, the fact that you mainly only fought low levels, aside from (Xgen), doesn't make me think this spec matches up as well as the others. If you make a new video where you actually fight geared 50s I'd be very likely to subscribe and even inquire as to how you went about putting your spec together, but as of right now, it appears as though you just picked on undergeared and underleveled players. Raggok in the post prior to mine put what I'd be a lot more interested in watching, amongst other people that watch a lot of pvp videos, very nicely.
  18. Healers are amazing in this game, I've gotten both 565,330 and 585,690 healing in games before. Averaging near 400,000 now, even in Huttball which I believe to be impressive considering how stupidly people run around int hat game. I have roughly 50% PvP gear, half of it being centurion the other half champion, and yes I do roll with my guilds' premades a lot but that shouldn't change anything except maybe the fact that I have guard? On a side note, the game with 565,330 healing was done on a Void Star with a pug, I ended up losing and got no MvP votes despite only 2 people dying on my team the whole game. If you're having issues healing, then either get better gear or change the way you're doing it. Until I get 3+ people hitting me I won't have any issues healing a group, unless we're talking people geared to the max on my server. Niggler thehiggler and Ceilingcarpet, insanely geared dps juggernaut and the best operative on my server, not gearwise but skillwise, then I will have issues healing my group.
