Besides my desktop, I also have an older laptop with an ivy i5 & gtx 650m, &i have to play at 720p(native 1080) on low settings in any group content if I want a fluid experience. Even so, wzs are far from that &become unplayable at lvl cap where people tend to cluster & there are many aoes whose particle effects just choke the rig. If you want to have an enjoyable time in swtor, you'll either have to fork over quite a bit of dough for a good laptop or go for a desktop. gl&bye

Does it have to be a laptop? ^^ You'll have to run swtor at low settings on both of them &it won't be a very enjoyable experience. I'm guessing you're on a budget, so if you'd be willing to go for a desktop, for that money I'd suggest a G3258 cpu that you'll overclock to 4.2ghz, coupled with a gtx 750ti for a gpu.

mostly mara, jugg, sorc&oper &i rename my toons every so often when i jump servers or i have creds, but there's nothing interesting to buy off gtn (renaming is fun for me, i get to research names from other cultures)

I'm not sure how i feel about sorc offheal &corrupted barrier. I just know they'll go back to being paper in the hands of any burst specc if they nerfed them; but offheal is just so strong, especially in arenas without a heal (same goes for oper, they're even better if there's a tank setup) ... I wish they'd just reduce heal efficiency on anyone other than yourself when in a dps discipline, like 50% ... I dunno.

Nah, I'd say 8k'ish is the norm for DH crits with talent. If both relics proc'ed, yh, then maybe 10k+.

That can't be dark heal, it's surely unnatural preservation crits (probably buffed with skillpoint).

It's dead Jim, There's no dev interest (some mostly bad looking ranked rewards every 3mo to keep the few pvpers that haven't jumped ship hooked(lol &the lengths they go for said "shinies")), engine is very unfriendly, expect pvp balance to only go downhill etc TOR is all about casual PVE & RP. This has been quite clear since SOR at least. Heck, they're going with a MEish story only expansion "where choices have (the illusion of) meaningful consequences". Pvp servers in TOR are just small, rather toxic communities that love generating drama. If you're not into that, there's no reason to join/stay on such a server. Let them die &stop subbing, they don't deserve a PvPers $ toodles!

I completely agree with you, not only that MOBAs are in the same ballpark as SWTOR, but they require so much more skill because of how complex they are.
