  1. SWG was largely a sandbox MMO. The players were provided a set of mechanics and turned loose on the galaxy to create their own content. SWTOR is a hardcore theme park MMO. The players consume content provided by the developers in a fairly linear fashion. The problem with any theme park MMO is that players will always be able to consume content faster than developers can produce it. For this reason and others most developers have moved away from the theme park model. Bioware however has doubled down on the theme park model with their latest expansions to the point that the game hardly resembles a developing online virtual world and more a classic single player rpg.
  2. Cover was a fun little mechanic that had a lot of RP utility.
  3. One of my biggest gripes about this game from the beginning is just how narrowly focused the classes are. Rather than giving us more options within each class it seems like they are consistently being taken away. It's bad enough each class is being pidgeonholded so much but now I can't even use the cover system for RP purposes on my operative.
  4. I would very much like to see this added. I doubt it would take a large investment of resources to get something like this in.
  5. I've found it nearly impossible to find a suitable set of imperial armor for my BH. Currently the only real options are snow trooper armor from the cartel and the Makeb armor which isn't available until level 50. Since we are never going to get an imperial trooper class can you at least throw us a bone and give us some cosmetic armor?

  7. I think the game would stand to make a ton of money in the cash store form either of these features.
  8. Speeders do need a fair bit of work so the feel more like well speeders.
  9. I mistakenly double posted. Thank you for your insightful if somewhat condescending and snarky reply. While it is possible to perform these functions it is not necessarily intuitive or user friendly. We gamers are lazy and if it takes too much effort we won't use it. Ease of access to communication and information is key.
  10. Add a feature that allows guilds from the same faction to enter into alliances with one another. The alliance could have access to a chat channel and a list of current alliance members currently online. I believe this would help to draw together the somewhat splintered community. Also I don't believe it would be very resource intensive to implement.

  12. Might have been suggested already but I would love a looping emote of looking through binoculars.
  13. Horses. They exist on at least two worlds for sure and likely more.
