The simple answer your question about HD TV as a monitor is, it depends on weather or not your TV has a HDMI input connector, and if you have a HDMI cable. If your TV does and you have the cable it will work. But the size of the TV will affect how well your system can handle it. For example if your TV is lets say 27in then you should have no problems but if its a 42 you might have slower frame rates and if it is a 72 you can pretty much forget about it. It will work on the 72 but it will slow your system down something fierce or display like crap. Ill see what i can find in your price range and explain why and what to do in a little bit but i do have one more question. Do you have a Case and if so what is the power supply's power rating? For example is it a 420W power supply or a 720W exc.

A couple questions first. Do you have a monitor, computer case, keyboard, mouse, and/or Operating system? Basically my question is are you replacing your existing computer or building a second one? The reason why i ask is, it will change what you can and cannot get and how much you spend on each piece of hardware. The most expensive part of any computer is actually the monitor.

LOL yes its suppose to be Lose..... I will start this by saying i have not tested this out completely myself. BW changed things around in one of the patches and you cannot leave the planet any time anymore. I have tested this part out. but i did it at lvl 3 not at lvl 10. I wanted a crafting alt, that made me my mods and did not care about his level so i space bared though the class quest and ignored the side quests and left the plant at lvl 8. I know your ability to leave the planet is now tied to your class quest on the starting worlds. What i don't know is can you leave the plant at lvl 10 if you have not completed your class quest.

You will not "loos" anything if you keep leveling up. This does not mean that you are not at a "disadvantage". Your character will gain a skill point at level 10 and every level their after so when you get to lvl 50 you will have 41 skill points. This will always happen and no matter what you do you will get those points. The "disadvantage" is that you will not be able to spend those points until you choose an advance class. This does not mean you do not have them it just means that you cannot spend them. I am normally level 12 by the time i get to the advance class trainer. So when i do choose my Advanced class i have 3 points to spend. one from reaching lvl 10 and then one from each level after. You get access to your advance class trainer based on story and not lvl. The point in the story you get access to the trainer is the first time you get to the fleet. Whether that be Imp or Rep. So if you have gotten to the fleet and left it go back and open up the map and look for the combat trainer area and your advanced class trainer should be somewhere in their. He or she should have the triangle above his head.

This is not necessarily true. I have a pair of headphones that work though USB and have built in hardware that gives me sound. You could make the argument the my headphones become the sound card but i would not call a pair of headphones a sound card. My motherboard does have a built in sound card but i do not have the drivers installed for it and only use my USB headphone/mike. So their could be people out their that do not have sound cards.

ya i really wish you could at least move everything around. Right now you can only customize the chat widow and channels.

Sry if it seemed like i attacked... not my intention... and after i re-read it i see how one could think that.. This is how i should have opened it.... I have not played around with this a lot but the /cjoin should work for what you want to acomplish. And then followed it up with hot to make your own custom chat channel.

this can already be done with the /cjoin optoion to join chat channels. You can even create your own by typing the following /cjoin [Channel Name] [channel password] You can create your own channel. I have messed with this function a little bit but not a lot so i cannot tell you the complete limitations of this but you can do what your suggesting already.

The chat window is the only thing that you can customize... wish the rest could but this is how. To move it around anywhere you want, click and drag the chat tab you want to move. It will unlock from it's default location and you can move it to where you want to. Their will be a sideways arrow in the bottom right corner of the chat window. If you click and drag this you can change the size of the chat window. If you right click the chat tab you can make a new one or modify the existing one. If you make a new one you will have to set it up by right clicking the new tab and modifying it. In the modification of the tab you can select what you want to see, like only group chat or guild or general or system... their are actually quite a few options in hear. To turn these on or off click the box to the right side of the description.. filled yellow for on or empty box for off. The other thing you can do is change the color of the text that is displayed in the chat tab you are modifying. Click on the collord box to the left of the discription and you can change the color you want. This box will show the color of the text it is currently set at. this is a good video on making your own chat channel Hope this helps you out a little

Alderaan is a little different then normal bonus series. they start at a much higher level then the planet range. I do believe they are lvl 40 quests and will not show up until around 38.

Fortunately i am right handed so i do not have those problems. To everyone that is telling him or her to learn the right way you should be ashamed of yourselves. These are two very simple concepts....... By not allowing something we are excusing it. By allowing it we are including it. We loose out by excluding things and gain by including them, but for some reason people are wanting to exclude the option to bind keys in different ways. I do not use a mouse but a trackball should i be penalized for using a different configuration then anyone else. No absolutely not. Nor should you penalize anyone for having a different configuration then you. I agree with the OP. More key-binding options should be added. The OP is not asking for anything outlandish, or trying to take anything away from anyone. Just the ability to bind keys the way he or she wants. I agree with that. I could personally gain by more key-binding options and so could everyone. In regards to allowing more key-binding options, I would like to see combination key-bindings. For example... [mouse button 5]+[1], [mouse button 5]+[2], and so on.... this also cannot be done. The only way to do this is with shift or ctr keys. The ability to rebind any key or any combination of keys should be an option and including it cannot hurt anyone.

To answer why people call them toons in a logical fashion cannot be done. Its like trying to figure out why doing something good or being good at something can be said with the following words cool, hot, fat, whack, blast, bad, sick, and soooo many more. people come up with words because they like them then humans being human follow along and copy what others are doing to be socially accepted. To apply any logic on why would only drive you nuts.

I have gotten Orange gear off of everything.... I have gotten them off of standard mobs, silver elite mobs, gold elite mobs, world bosses, Quest rewards, 2 and 4 man heroics, flashpoints, loot boxes that are lying around, normal vendors, comm vendors, and pvp vendors. you can probably get them from other places but i cant remember all of them.

Their are allot of games out their that do not let you heal or dps a player that is flagged for PVP unless you are flagged. to name a few WOW, Rift, SWG, CoH, and more. Some of them started out this way and some of them changed it because it can and will lead to greefing on both sides. For example if i want to get an advantage on another player i go around un-flagged and look for a flagged character and attack him first. This gives me the advantage because he or she cannot..... not potable..... does not have the choice.... to wait for my first attack. He or she even if they see me coming cannot attack me because i am not flagged and will probably ignore me because i am not flagged. This gives me an unfair advantage over that person. that is an exploit and should not be allowed. Now for the other example. I am running around on a PvE server and am not flagged. A stelth toon goes to where i am attacking a group of 5 NPC's and stands their knowing that i will eventually though an AOE making me flag PVP. He or she knows what is going on and has me targeted. Because i am unaware and already in combat i will loos every time regardless of how much i try. This is two different things griefing and exploitation. This type of system where one player can force another into doing something is wrong. This system allows and promotes griefing and exploitation. If you are not flagged for PvP you should not be able to participate in PvP nor should you be made to PvP. I like PvP... (see sig for any questions......) well at least i like fair PvP. But i should not be able to force anyone nor exploit a system nor grief anyone. That is why the games that where not like this from the start changed to this now.

Companion affection also helps with crew skills. The only one that i know for sure is time reduction on missions and crafting. It is rummer that it also helps with critical change but has not been confirmed.

As some other have said, your ship does give rest XP. Go in their with a yellow xp bar. It will turn green fairly quickly. If it turns green you are getting rest XP. You might not see the text saying you entered a rest zone but you are in one.

But the effect will be minimal. My first suggestion would be to replace the video card. You can get great video cards for very reasonable prices. See example already given. When giving specs on a computer it is actually helpful to also supply the specks on the monitor like size and default resolution. for example the monitor that i am using right now is a 22" monitor that has a natural resolution of 1600 x 1200 that means i have 1,920,000 pixels that my vieo card has to handle. Now lets say i bring my gaming monitor over and connect it up (27" 1920 x 1080 thats 2,073,600) to this system i would bet slower results. So the video card would have a harder time handling the bigger monitor because it has to more pixels. Changing the resolution does not magically take away physical pixels all it does is tell the video card to fill 4 pixels with the information of one so all 4 have to be accounted for and filled. the native resolution determines how hard the video card has to work to support the monitor not what resolution you have it set to. now you can get better FPS if you set the in game resolution lower because less information is being transfers from their server to your computer. But regardless the Video card works just as hard if it has the monitor resolution set lower or not. The pixels still have to be told what to do. So my first suggestion is to replace the video card and i gave a example of one within your price range. Now for the second suggestion the SSD. Hard drive technology is basically the same as it was 10 years ago. so data transfer rates between the processor, memory, and HDD are slowed down by the HDD which impacts processing. The SSD hard drives do not have this limitation and can keep up with the Processors and memory chips.

Again I am not trying to be a douche, but have not really explain this play style. You only gave one “benefit” to this play style Again I'm going to ask you to actually explain this concept and how you play this way. What do you bind to move forward, and backwards? What do you bind to W and S? How u actually use this in combat? By saying that you strafe and cannot move backwards is not an explanation of this play style. How does this make it easier to strafe and why is moving backwards a bad thing? The 20 years actually means the following. 1. Experience....... 2. Understanding...... 3. Maturity....... 4. Diversity...... 5. The ability to learn and adapt....... I could go on but I doubt it will matter to you. I am actually curious about how this works for you but your immune response of my personal experience not mattering is taking some if not most of that curiosity away. I in no way attacked you or insulted you, and still haven’t I was genially curious about this style of play because I had not heard of it.

after you complete chapter 1 you get a blue/purple legacy exp bar below the green level bar.

if you queued up to 5 crafting items and then decide you want only one, right click the little icons from right to left that way the current process does not reset and no time is wasted.

you can open the companions hotbar by pressing the ` key (tild key, right above the tab key and left of the 1 key) the stances, ie dps, tank, heal, passive will have a rectangular mini box in the border of the button. the one that is green is the active stance. the abilities have a square box in the top middle of the icon, that is either green for auto cast or black for manual. if you right click any of these it will wither turn it on for an ability or switch the stance.
