  1. I tried DX9 and got this "You must be running windows 98, windows millennium edition, windows 2000, windows xp or windows server 2003 family to install DirectX 9.0"
  2. I just started playing this game after a few years break and my PC can run this game gorgeously but all the "Bloom" lighting effect like holographs and things like that are visible through walls and at far distances. Even in cutscenes it covers over the characters. I don't want to turn BLOOM off because then I cant see the holographs or my lightsaber. Anyone know whats wrong? I cant figure out the problem and its driving me nuts. ive uninstalled the game, graphics card, even updated my GPU's with beta software, I'm absolutely puzzled. my DXdiag is below. 3. if you hear cracking and you have a sound card, its because you have all the setting set to full. im using a soundblaster XFI and had uncontrollable crackling in game , thsi is how i fixed it. TURN EVERYTHING TO LOW OR OFF! EAX, 3D and SVM had to all be turned off for me to get no cracking, while still maintaining the same quality of sound from the game. you can do this by typing in search "Creative Console", then clicking "Creative Console Launcher". and turning all of these options off or to low. EAX, 3D, SVM.
  4. im seriously doubting that this will be fixed anytime soon, if all these crappy MINOR bugs dotn get fixed soon i dont think ill sub untill they are, cause its the little mistakes that take away from a game, when it is this many, its just a joke, i even reported it in 3 beta weekends, it still obvisly didnt get addressed.
  5. good luck with this, ive been having this issue with my mouse, and have gotten absolutely no response, its the game, it interfers with certain makes and models of keyboards/mice, untill its fixed i think we are boned.
  6. Wtb smart pivot(removal) and aa plz k thanks
  7. currently i am using Logitech Performance mouse MX, have had it for about a year now and it has been amazing. ive been able to customize all the buttons in everygame i play, untill this game came around. I cannot bind any of my additional mouse buttons, just the 2 clickers and scroll. Anyone else having this trouble? Its kinda getting on my nerves cause i lose out on 3 buttons basicly. all drivers are upto date. Logitech says its not the mouse, so i assume its the game. Any help would be appreciated. thank you. Thank you Geraz for solving my issue, you were a huge help!
  8. Today i log on and clearly, YOU NEED TO CLOSE FULL SERVERS! had to wait for 32 minutes today, havent waited that long yet, so people are obvisly still making new characters on full servers(Black Vulkars) can you please take half of your 12 PVE east servers, that are GREEN, merge them into 6, and give us 6 PVP west coast servers to Transfer too, cause i mean this is goddamn rediculous. i dont mind waiting 10 or 15 minmutes to play, but 30 minutes is bullcrap. thats 30 minutes of gametime I paid for. There are clearly an amzing amout of PVP West coasters. so why not cater to that? in any case, close character creation on servers that are FULL to new people, they should be going to a NON-FULL server. Thank you!
  9. For about 8 years ive been playing various MMO's from WoW to GA and not once have i read an intro message for these games and felt like the companies actually cared. Than i happened to read your intro message, people can say what they want wether it was all a bunch of B.S. or not, but i honestly appreciate the fact you give us ANY credit for our time in this game. You are probably the first major MMO release that has given credit to the players, just as much we are deserving of this recognition. But i believe it is us who should thank you, for all your time, dedication and amazing marketing to keep us all on the edge of our seat for this glorius day to come. I just wanted to say to everyone at Bioware, Lucas Arts and EA for showing us what a REAL mmo is like. THANK YOU. " This is a big day for us; we are launching Star Wars: The Old Republic, BioWare’s largest and most ambitious project to date, and we’re very proud that you’ve been able to join us. It’s an honor to be able to share this game with you. A huge team of talented, passionate people at BioWare, Electronic Arts, Lucas Arts as well as many other partners all over the world poured their hearts and souls into this game. We want to thank every single one of them for being part of the team that developed this game; it’s a monumental accomplishment. Another group of people that we depended upon was you, the players. We had hundreds of thousands of players spend millions upon millions of hours beta testing this game. Without you we never would have been able to build it; thank you for your contribution. This game is yours just as much as it is ours. And finally we want to emphasize that this is just the beginning of a very long journey together. The game is launched, but it’s not done; it will probably never be done as we’re committed to working on Star Wars: The Old Republic in order to keep improving it and delivering exemplary service to you, the customer. It’s going to be a great ride. Finally, we can only think of one appropriate way to sign off on this auspicious occasion: May the Force be with you! Ray Muzyka & Greg Zeschuk Co-Founders, BioWare"
