To be honest, this kind of issue was rife in WoW and really, really hindered levelling. I was based on a PVE/PVP server, and there was an achievement for raiding opposing faction's capitals and killing their leaders. They were cool and exciting and felt like an event and part of a war so I don't think anyone minded those as they were rare , but immersive and fun. The problems were stealthed enemy players who ONLY targeted vendors and quest-givers. This happened a LOT on my server, and while in most cases they would be ganged up on and killed, they'd be back minutes later and would only desist if the place was busy with PC's. In the case the OP is talking about though, this sounds more like a bug than a working as intended and I hope it's resolved so it doesn't put off people wanting to level. On the other hand, if anyone fancies a 40 man team all hopping on speeders and raiding an enemy base en masse... count me in for sure!

I love this thread. My Merc was my first character and I wanted a female cross between jango fett and darth maul, so she's a two-blaster toting red skinned zabrak hardcase! I loved the story up to mid chapter 2, but to be honest there are enough "pull you back in" moments to make the slight repetition more than bearable. As far as the "honour code" is concerned, going lightside seems to work, purely cos Mako backs the "fair" and not for the sake of it decisions. Glad you're loving it and welcome to an exclusive group made up of the galaxy's most feared and respected hunters!

My personal selection is Cybertech/Scavenging and Underworld trading. This is a purely personal choice though, depending on what you fancy making! Hope this helps!

The advice about doing the warzone dailies is spot on, also run as many flashpoints as is possible to get gear and comms to keep your stuff up to date!

Just for a bit of fun, I thought it might be nice to have a few crafter-only vanity pets and objects to spice up our crafting lists: Cybertech: Probe droid, training sphere droid, mini speeder.. Armormech: Mouse droid, gonk droid, power droid, mini-walker.... Armstech: Mini hovertank, Personal space defense array (tiny gun emplacements surround character) Biomed: Tusken raider baby, Baby bantha, Ewok cub, Mynock, Jawa in carbonite... Synthweaving: mini ewok glider, haunted robe (empty hooded robe that floats around)... Artifice: Dancing sabers, Tulak hord relic (little sarcophagus that floats around)..... Just silly examples, but you get what I mean. pointless items, but fun to have and may make us actually WANT to level our crafts again!

The one-time pass does indeed seem incredibly random. I can log in, pull up my email and enter it, then log out and an hour later need the password again. However, I can travel 55 miles up the coast to my girlfriends house and log in her laptop and not receive a prompt at all!! I also have had occassions where the password does not work for whatever reason, and there is no way I can see to request a new one. You simply can't play... I use a blackberry so cannot have a smartphone authenticator, and I lost my physical one, so will need to order a new one asap. EDIT: Just been on the store. Physical key "product no longer available" and app version only available on iphone and selected android. sigh....

Hi. Been thinking a bit since I got HK-51. I noticed he utilises both Cunning and Aim and that confused me a little, as I didn't know whether to stack a 50/50 balance or to lean more toward cunning (for the "assassin droid" aspect) or Aim (for the "war droid" thing). Anyway this made me think about some of my other comps and mull over the following: Torian and Skadge: Both these comps use melee attacks and are tanky types (although Torian has a generator as opposed to a shield) and it made me wonder what type of effect it would have if I stacked Strength on them. I know having Strength on my Merc gives a small bonus to rocket punch , so I figured why not? I appreciate that Willpower is useless to me and to be honest, unless the Stat is "free" (ie: it comes from a datacron or some such) I would never dream of sacrifincing Aim on my merc, but i am just curious as to the effect of mixing prime stats for companions and if these small bonuses would be worth having? The most obvious (and for some , tempting) sacrifice would be for Endurance, especially for levelling DPS classes with no healing comp, but I am curious if anyone else has tried this and what your findings are? Thanks in advance.

/Sign I agree with the OP , but for different reasons. I still make a good amount of money with cybertech (level 10-40 armours, mods and earpieces sell well, even the greens as i mark the price down on them to empty cargohold space), but I do struggle to sell ship parts and speeders. Droid parts have started to do well , but that tends to be players who just got HK-51. I would like more schematics for speeders, for earpieces, for droid parts etc and maybe even a section for cosmetic schematics (mouse droid, mini probe droid and other vanity pets perhaps?) not because CM is a threat to my "livelihood", but simply because it's ABOUT TIME!!! Similarly, synthweaving, armormech etc are fun to level, but ultimately result in a hold full of junk, vendoring crafted goods for peanuts (and way less than the mats value) or ignoring the armours completely and focusing on augments, enhancements etc ... Give us a few "crafter only" skins or sets please. Random drop schematics, re-only schematics.. whatever, just give us something that people may want and a reason for us to get excited about this stuff please!!

Like in SW battlegrounds, walkers, Barc speeders, Hovertanks, artillery pieces, Banthas etc with objectives requiring the use of said stuff.... what do ya reckon ? A simply 2 stage WZ with one side attacking using tanks and the other defending a shield generator with turrets and mines might be fun? Or maybe a beach landing with cannons on the landing craft and turrets on the beach followed by some good old up close and personal??

Oh and by the way, the reason I mention running those lower level flashpoints is because of the poster directly above mine (cos he's right, your money will disappear if you keep doing missions, so scavenge in the flashpoints, loot everything and sell it, this will easily fund your Underworld missions. You'll also get a few planetary comms too which you can spend on blue mods as well!).

Just to reinforce what's been said by several above: Take cybertech, scavenging and underworld trading. Send comp on UT missions and run BT/Hammer station solo to farm metals and you'll level it in no time at all. It also means that you can create earpieces, droid and ship parts and even speeders for your alts too further down the line. Send Gault on Underworld missions and Skadge on scavenging ones. Once you have crafted the green versions of a mod/armour you want, make a few then reverse engineer them until you learn the blue version of the items (this is where underwold metals come in) and then do the same and rev engineer those until you learn the purple (advanced) version. This is also true for earpieces and droid armours). Good luck and get rich (cos cybertech is a great moneymaker!).

In fact, looking at them, I am quite chuffed with all my character names as displayed with legacy: Millarakk Daal Jo'Leesha Daal Teleesha Daal Salani'Dir Daal Di'Leez Daal Chia'Taar Daal I think they all sound pretty funky!

I kind of like the idea that your legacy name by default is picked randomply for you. Mine is Daal, which I like. The problem I have is that my main is Zabrak, but I also have 3 human characters, a Chiss and a Cathar who all share a surname, which seems odd. Doesn't matter though, cos it's a game and all that.

Reading some people's posts about grouping and being kicked for low HP, not knowing tacts etc I have joined every flashpoint or Op group without ever having any knowlegde of bosses and tactics wetc and have always had fights calmly explained to me so I can muck in, do my job and get through as part of the team. Reading some people's experiences I have really been very lucky so far! No point to post really, just letting those who have had crummy experiences that I'm not taking my comfortable ride for granted!!

Togruta or Aqualish as playable Kashyyk with a really cool mission questline (wookies impartial and both sides trying to curry favour..... ). Kamino with underwater PVP or underwater space missions. Power droid for use as a legacy unlock that can be placed in -ops and clicked on to heal... Hood toggle as stated (I wonder what happens if I try equip Gault with a hooded robe... he can't diplay a helm.. must check out). LVL 55 Heroics on all worlds except starters. Endor warzone.. log traps, catapults, pits with spikes, crazy tarzan ewoks, combat on the walkways up in the treetops.. what's not to love!!? A beret headpiece. Mynok pet.

as they are such good fun that I am not doing other stuff I am supposed to be doing in real life!! Nah seriously, I have beenn on and off this forum in a week where there's an event which I think is awesome and all I am reading is "this sucks/this blows/please leave me out of all your stuff/ I am leaving because this game is dire" etc and I just thought I would start a thread to post the last thing you did/saw/heard/.whatever in game that made you smile or gasp because it was so cool, and remind us why we all play this fantastic game!! I will start: Did a random PuG run of a few FP's I needed for a weekly that's been in my log for ages, met three really cool people and we all quoted Monty Python, league of Gentlemen, Reeves and Mortimer and stupid cartoon stuff to each other the entire way through! Everyone stopped so folks could scanevge, Bioanalyse,, slice, arch etc and it was such a luagh, we stayed grouped for 8 flashpoints!!! Bloody brilliant (oh and I did the Rakghoul flashpoint, can't remember what it's called the one with thhe infected city... bloody awesome!!!). OK share your cool stuff please............

Many thanks for all your comments. Just to clear up a couple of points though, Torian and Skadge (The BH comps) definitely can NOT use it. My sith Sorceror can also not use it , so I guesss the only comps I will be able to equip it to will be Xalek and Vector, or I may even level an assassin purely for cool looks! I truly, truly hope whoever said that Jaella can use it is correct, as I am levelling a Marauder right now, and the two of them would look amazing!! I got a cartel item recently (can't link it, but it's the double bladed staff thingy in the equipment section , where the gamorrean axe and bowcaster are featured!). Anyway, who the hell can use it?? I have a Merc with all comps, a Sorc with comps and a Powertech with 2 comps, as well as loads of sub-25 characters and I've mailed it between them all and nobody can use it!! Any clues??
