  1. Personally i'd send companions to gathering mission in order to get my gathering to point where i can gather in next planet easily, then put them to crafting until i can't get crafting skill ups (reverse engineer and make more of an item i really want an upgrade of), and then send them again to gathering. sure, not huge profit machine, but it gets you to high crafting with minimal effort and you can sell extra mats (and you will get extra mats if you gather every node you find if beta is to be believed). Profits are for when you can make something people are willing to pay for.
  2. But who would get to choose the evaluators and the method of evaluation? Nah, for the Sith, life is a test and the dead failed it.
  3. Rule of Two sounds awesome, right up until you spend a couple seconds thinking about it. One person who decides to ignore it, and the whole thing goes splat. One accident that either kills the master before he/she takes apprentice, or kills master and apprentice, and it goes splat. One harebrained scheme that ends up killing them, and the whole thing goes splat. It's just too fragile to keep going for several millenia, either the teachings start to spread, or it dies out on the first bad accident, or is simply abandoned by those who are supposed to follow it. It simply strains that suspension of disbelief way past the breaking point for me. The Sith Empire, in SWTOR or during GHW simply sound cooler, and more realistic to me, they provide structure, constant competition and fresh recruits to replace the dead, and it is not one accident away form destruction.
  4. No. Game release on 20th. EGA starting from 13th in order of pre order registration. registering game key only gets you in game items, if any, earlier, nothing more.
  5. Not having seen Star Wars movies does not make you not a nerd. Having seen Star Wars movies does not make other people nerds. Star Wars is such a huge cultural phenomenom by now, that it's weirder to not have seen any of them than having seen them, and comparing someone to a nerd for having watched them is like calling someone a conspiracy nut for having watched a James Bond movie.
  6. Use the greens to level up your crafting skill, buy special mats to make blue gear for yourself. Slicing gives credits, rare patterns and opens paths in flashpoints (or so i hear, never tried flashpoints in beta). And anyway, if you want to make money, just grab slicing and couple gathering professions and start selling mats. I guess it's about what you value, utility, money making, self sufficiency (nobody can make everything on one toon anyway), just pick which brings you the most fun.
  7. Well, when daddy wookie and mommy wookie really, really like each other...
