    I think there's something to be said for allowing this with temporarily bound items. Can get awfully frustrating when having to wait over a day to start decorating with things you specifically bought for use in a guild stronghold or ship. But permanently bound items are permanently bound items for a reason.

    +1 Horrible change, it helps nobody and only makes things more awkward. Sure, people can adapt to awkward and annoying things, but when there is no reason for the change other than some sense of consistency, they shouldn't have to. It was working well, now it's not. Change back please...
