  1. Honestly this is one game where I feel the graphics have aged pretty well.
  2. It's jarring to the point that it makes playing unenjoyable. I'd like to figure it out, if possible.
  3. Not sure if this topic belongs in this forum, but I was unable to find anywhere better. Does anyone else have this issue? I get frequent momentary lag/freezes when in combat. All the actions seem to "catch up" after about two seconds, but it's jarring and makes the game difficult to play. Was hoping someone out there would know what's going on and maybe know of somewhere to point me to fix this. Thanks guys!
  4. I couldn't agree more. MMOs should emphasize socialization in every form they can. Give the option for soloing, but make as many options for group activities as possible. And it seems like there has been a downward trend in social content across the MMO spectrum, with developments like cross-server group finders. I don't know how they could make hubs more active in the social aspect, like livening up a cantina. Maybe musicians like LOTRO? Dance contests? Fashion shows (they need to adopt the gear system of DCUO badly). Just do something out of the ordinary. Throw it out there and see what sticks. Experiment, think out of the box. What are other possibilites for social activities?
  5. Agreed, combat was terrible...other games during that time were already surpassing it in terms of what they could do to make combat fun. That's why they tried the NGE, and after that flopped, there was nothing else to do.
  6. Can people finally accept the fact that SWG is no more? We can spend years talking about this game, and I'm sure many love it, but SWTOR will never be what SWG was. SWG had crappy sub numbers for a reason, and it wasn't doing all that great pre-NGE. It couldn't compete, so it died. SWTOR is trying to stay competitive in this market, and I don't think that's a bad thing. Good job, SWTOR. Please don't become like SWG.
  7. I think the new model will actually let them move content more quickly, which is, IMO, a good thing. I don't mind staying a subscriber or having the choice for the a la carte model. I actually think that's a positive movement in the MMO industry.
  8. Another note, hard to find a guild with more than 3 people on at once on Pot5.
  9. I'm also addicted to alts, to the point where I don't even have a char at 50 yet. :(
  10. While playing, I thought it would be a good idea if there were more PVP oriented quests, such as quests that have you attempt to attack enemy settlements and towns, killing guards, things like that. It would certainly liven things up and create more friction between the two sides. Or even open world PVP quests like "kill 5 enemy players", "kill 5 guards", etc. Has any MMO ever tried that? Where quests have you attacking the other side directly?
  11. Boxers don't complain when they get beat by someone who has been training longer and harder and is in much better physical shape than they are. Do they just quit boxing, or do they put in the time necessary to be on a level playing field with their competition?
  12. Uh....is that supposed to do anything?
  13. Has anyone else experienced this?
