  1. the really awful crafters just haven't figured it out a month in
  2. Biochem needed a nerf. Sure, it's very potent. Again my issue is the CONTRADICTION. C O N T R A D I C T I O N
  3. I dont care if they can't be crit crafted. The issue lies in that they can get AUGMENTED (+28 main stat) Rakata gear, then drop it and get BIOCHEM benefits. Thats just not an even field of play. Either make it so rakata craftables can't be critted, or give it a crewskill req - then I have no issue with players making rakata gear then dropping it for BIOCHEM. When they can get rakata gear + open augment slots, then go biochem then its just getting silly.
  4. A round of applause for the PT that doesn't realize that 15% max hp buff is already a buff to tanks, and in a couple months, a buff across the board for everyone. Old medpack doesn't scale with gear. New medpack scales with gear, expansions, new content. Its only a matter of time till the new Medpack usurps the old one. Its ok, I teach lessons in MMORPGs.
  5. I am actually a BIOCHEM, so the 400 req on consumables doesn't make any difference to me. But there are a lot of people who leveled biochem for the consumables just to drop... They got screwed - albeit anyone could have inferred it was coming. So why can Synthweavers craft themselves socketed rakata belts/bracers, with augment slots, that are not 400/400 synth required to wear, then drop it for biochem consumables? Crew skill restrictions on *BOP* needs to be applied across the board, have a little integrity and consistancy. So only Bio/Cyber are 400/400 req, while other classes craft themselves rakata augmented bops, and other various bop augments, with no CREW SKILL REQ, only to drop it and then get the added bonuses from BIOCHEM. Its just blantant and spitting hypocrisy. Too flagrant.
  6. What nerf exactly? did any of you morons expect them not to adjust the fact that you could level a profession, make the crafting bops then drop that profession? Anyone thats been playing these kind of games for any amount of time would have saw them adjust the consumables to 400 biochem req. I saw it coming weeks ago. A lot of people with common sense did. How stupid can you be? I mean honestly, you kids think that was going to just stand? is this your first MMORPG? Only nerf I see is an immediate heal nerf, which is somewhat offset by a temp max hp bonus. Cry harder you big fat babies.
  7. You do know you can kill all those heavy silver and gold mobs and skin them for easy materials - don't you :#
  8. Red goo, a lvl 5 compound sells more on my server than any lvl green material. Some of the lvl 5 components are key ingredients in say, every single dps implant - and thus making it far more important that trashy grade 6 compounds like immunity seeds, or even mutagenic paste/neuro buds for that matter. Appreciate your grade 5 materials children, you'll learn that those very high recipes that you one day hope to make will likely still use one of those pesky and unsightly grade 5 materials. Your tears are wasted!
  9. Quite honestly that will change. Even if you buy khem all 50 purples ... xalek is a WP pet, and can use gear that you win from raids. Got extra rakata or columni tokens? you can deck him out and get ~18k hp+ easily - spending them on assassin tank gear. At the end of the day, with the kind of eventually loot scooping that will take place after a few weeks or months of raid, your Xalek is gonna be a monsterous tank, while khem is still hopelessly stuck with his ~50 purple modded gear. At the end of the day, once you start getting extra tokens, your Xalek is gonna get geared to hell. In fact, saw him tank HM BP with the exception of the last boss the other day - and like easily.
  10. Then unequip those rakata belts and bracers you craft for yourselves, and those lightsaber crystals, and whatever else you get from crafting. You big baby
  11. Last night we had a patch ~ so I'm referring to anything made TODAY.
  12. Past week or so is a no go, 2 days ago I got 4 procs in 5 casts. I think the nerf was in last nights patch. Either that or the RNG goblin is all in my head.
  13. HOLD UP. I am not talking about RE. I'm talking about AUGMENT SLOT procs on gear/implants, for +28 raw stats. Unless both got hit - is what you mean. I'm simply talking about slot procs on gear I send my slaves to craft.
  14. I sort of craft a lot. Probably one of the top ones on my server. Last night, there was a patch. Now, my companions have 10k <3, and I even heard presence gear helps (unsure myself, but stimmed incase) Up until yesterday, I would have never made 10-15 casts without atleast 2 procs. Sometimes 4-5, and I guess at times 1, just how rng operates. This morning, I've crafted upwards to 50 implants on 10k affection slaves. I also talked to another crafter, ~30 ears without a proc. Did Bioware overdo it again? Now perhaps RNG is just being incredibly vicious, but I've got such a feel for these things, I've been doing it for a month now. Something feels odd. Augment slots are not proccing. Atleast for me, and people I talk to (which in all honesty, is 1 other person)
  15. After this whine thread, I decided to listen to some rocky music and RE tons of more blue implants. I scored 3 hawkeye dps recipes, endowment resolve with high crit, medium surge, low alac, and the 40 shield 27 accuracy 60 defense veracity redoubt implant. Needless to say, with those 5 recipes, that happen to cover the base for Str/Aim/Cunning dps (Hawkeye overkills, 69 acc 40 pow 25/29 crit), Mage heals (and dps if you don't exactly fancy high alac values everwhere), and Jugg tank implants ... I made 1.5m for my mount, have about 4.5-7mil worth of implants on the auction house, have about 200+ 340 mission discoveries, and have 12.5mil sitting in my bag. Now who knows, the next man may come along and crush me, telling me his 30mil wallet breaks mine, but I seriously doubt I'll be needing money anytime soon. Heres the kicker, even though some people have managed to crack what was a 2 week monopoly over any lvl 49 implants purple implants, I'm still making 1-2 mil a day off idle GTN auctions and the occasional spam. Heck, my report has gotten so good that people look for me to make them implants. Pumping them out like they were <Made in China>, but its my autograph instead! Heres my #1 tip Don't settle for trashy stats, pick a class, role or spec, and find the optimal combos. Also, slash the cost for ppl buying 2 implants. Sell them in packs of 2. This helps support mass creating, thus leading to more augments. Save and sell your augmented ones for the more serious players/raiders, while offering the fresh 50 pups some new upgrades on those lvl 37 green implants.
  16. Appreciate the answer, did clarify some things, I do understand the internal resist, I was hoping there was someway to side step it... I'm hitting some things for 700-800-900 when it should be 1100-1300. Sad to hear theres no way around it, perhaps madness offers more for pve dps?
  17. With that said, any clarification :# Are we currently looking at Willpower>power>alac>crit>surge - while completely ignoring accuracy. Thats pretty much identical to warcraft's elemental shaman priority, and these two classes play very similar. Very proc orientated. More alac, more procs per minute, more dmg. But again, 0 accuracy? Testing it out on different mobs was misleading, various mobs appear to have different internal resist values. On the same mobs, it was probably within the tooltips suggested variation, well ~90% of the dmg, not 100.
  18. So why am I hitting certain mobs for 30-40% less? is their a desired cap for accuracy then as a sorc? or do we ignore it.
  19. Theres a bit of contradictory information out there regarding the Sorcerer class, lightning spec, and accuracy requirements. 1 school of thought says to get to 105% for the soft cap, in this case, spell penetration another school of thought says accuracy absolutely doesn't effect bosses, as bosses currently have 0% inate resists. I've noticed that there are various mobs, even @ lvl 43 (Bel savis daily heroic ones come to mind) where my lightning strikes hit for 60-70% of the tooltip damage, IRRESPECTIVE of whether i'm @ 105% accuracy or 100% base value. This really puzzled me, as I found it very odd to be hitting a mob for 700 when my tooltip reads 1200-1300. If one were to take a look at the Force master set, theres no accuracy gear if I'm not mistaken. So whats the scoop? Is accuracy a wasted stat for caster dps? And if so, why am I hitting certain mobs for 60-70% of my tooltip dmg, with full repaired gear and stuff. My gear isn't beastly by anymeans but... self buffed and stimmed I am at 1733 willpower 33.6% crit 75% crit multiplier 5.78% activation speed 671.5 bonus dmg and 104.97 accuracy, a figure I wanted to try out that is seemingly not doing anything ... am I missing something? and if accuracy is an absolute wasted stat, as it appears to be from an scrolling combat text observation, why am I hitting certain mobs for SO MUCH LESS than what my tooltip infers!
  20. That a quality guild you have there~ Sometimes I feel like Ilum's sheriff.
