The economic over-advantage to Biochem remains. What's further needed is to make Biochem materials very affordable for others, so that players don't feel compelled to take the profession in order to be able to regularly use consumables and not spend all their credits doing so. Rather than changing the mats needed to make items, I think the addition of charges to blue items would work perfectly. Something like 30 charges would be high enough for affordability and low enough to keep those who stick with Biochem profitting. Remember, hardcore raiding will be requiring gratuitous use of these items regardless, so keeping them expensive just forces raiders to take Biochem.
