Unfortunately this creates a huge disparity between classes that can remove themselves from combat (with vanish), so this change doesnt make much sense.

Hopefully fixed in 1.2, but he still sucks in full rakata gear. (im comparing him to other classes ranged tanks, and khem val.)

I got called bad when i used 'east and west' on the fatman republic side 1-49 bracket. They said; "USE LOGIC! CALL IT GRASS AND SNOW". True story.

Bioware's balance team runs on metrics, the math is staring us right in the face. Xalek's armor is too low. Balance it.

Got him wearing some battlemaster gear now.... didn't help, haha, hes still squishier than any other companion tank in the game by a long shot, please bioware, take note!

I just want his tank stance brought up to the level it should be, so im hoping this thread will attract any dev attention.

Full champion survivalist pvp gear. He cant take a hit, an Assassin/shadows tank stance gives them 150% armor to put them on par with heavy armor, xalek gets 42%. Its easy to see why he cant tank worth a damn. Im asking bioware to fix this, i consider it a bug. His mitigation is crap. While i realize there are many pressing issues on biowares plate right now, ie world pvp, illum, class balance, legacy system etc. This is a very small fix, and wouldnt take long to address, about 5 minutes, actually, just put his armor values on par with every other tank in the game(all the other tanks use heavy i believe). Dont give me a tank companion that cannot tank.

Please bioware, allow his tank stance to bring him up to the level of -every- other tank companion in the game. I invested a lot of time into gearing him up well, and hes so cool, but his performance is so sub par. Dude i can solo the heroic on illum without a pet, this is about having him be the same caliber as all the other companions...

Unfortunately, 1.1 hit, still no love for Xalek. Hoping that they'll make him equivalent to every other classes ranged tanks (including Jedi Consulars). Just asking for the same armor rating as everyone else.

Im rank 57 and all i have is 9 pvp relics.....

If it makes you feel better, in 100 bags, ive gotten 7 relics, and they are worse than their 52 endurance base stat counterparts buyable off the galactic market for about 10k.
