How much would it cost to get Jaesa's VA to come back? And if she does, I doubt there'll be a ds/ls jaesa. Too much trouble.
-
The problem I see now is that most people can't be bothered with CC. I always get asked, what's cc? Which goes to show you don't know your class, especially in HM. Unless you are confident in burning down mobs within 1 or 2 aoes, kill weakest to strongest. Its not hard to understand how less mobs, mean less dmg overall, regardless of how many there are or their mob type. Tank(s) will always focus on the strongest, DPS focus on the weakest.

I would love to see a class here that plays like a LOTRO warden. That would be awesome.
-
Awesome! Now show it can be done by other classes; and a non-50 companion.

A HM FP guarantees the holy trinity of RPGs, so there's no issue of party make-up. It used to be that the main bosses were more straightforward and only required tank-and-spank. Real challenge came from bonus bosses. If enrage mode is meant as a gear/dps check, how will bolster help? You will hardly ever find a lvl50 optimally geared for HM. Please show me a PUG of 50s clearing a HM False Emperor or HM Maelstrom Prison.

Well, how do you get around the HM bosses with burst skills? Like HK-47. I was in HM False Emperor the other day and when he went into enrage mode, his snipe does 65k-70k dmg. How are people suppose to tank thru that sort of damage? Even if you use defensive utilities, you're still pretty much left near death, which healers have a hard time keeping up with.
-
Well, given the size of vibroknives used by agents/snipers/operatives, how come we can just leave them in mobs? Where do we carry so many of them?
-
Is it possible for a <lvl65 PUG to do HM FPs? Some of the bosses do 1hkos in enrage mode which makes them impossible.

How do you think/wish chapter 16 ends and whats to come.

Well, if you decide to keep your current love interest alive, what happens if you are later presented with Kira, Nadia, Jaesa and Lana? Or dare I say even Vaylin? Would you still be loyal to her? -
The False Emperer my *****

Well, in HM version, I use the turrets to shoot the ship. But after using the terminal twice, the ship doesn't come in anymore and Jindo just gets missile lock buff to 300%. Total wipe. What am I doing wrong? -
Well, iirc, a few years back Corellia wasn't added to the class story. Now, you have to complete Corellia, plus your 'last level' instance to complete your class story.

A challenge to the 'elite community'

Killing everything isn't a bad thing, especially when you have new players. Besides, its faster to kill stuff than arguing over whether to kill them. And the best part of killing everything is that there won't be a mob train. -

Fix Tactical FPs
Roxas_kun replied to Beastybeeb's topic in Flashpoints, Operations, and Heroic Missions
Why are people asking for Tactical FPs to be even easier? FPs are mostly designed with the holy trinity of RPGs in mind, not groups consisting of pure dps. -
Nope. Class missions will still remain. HK-51/Section X/ Black Hole isn't part of the class storyline. They're the old end-game stuff. You only lose out on the class stories if you start KotFE I think.
-
Well, a pistol would make more sense than a vibroknife imo. Why bring a knife to a gun fight? Or maybe a stun baton? I still remember in the Jedi Knight multiplayer you could run around with one, brutally stunning people.
-
IMO, the kolto things at boss fights should be removed. They made Tactical FPs too easy. It should return to the old times where you actually had to have the holy trinity of RPGs to clear FPs. Back then the competency and skill of players was so much better.
-
There's nothing wrong with it imo. If you're wiping, its because you aren't doing it the way you are suppose to or maybe you don't have enough dps. After all, FPs are set at 65, which means if you're not ~lvl 60, you won't have access to the full repertoire of your class, which kind of gimps your ability to play at your best. Then again, maybe you should take a look at your class skills. All of them have a purpose. Tactical FPs are not just about face-tanking and dpsing. Use it as a training ground to learn what each skill does. Learn to use your CC skills. Its pretty stupid to go in at 65 and be unaware of your CC skills. Kill mobs from weakest to strongest, not take out the strongest first and hope for the best. If boss has minions, take out the minions first. Mark the CC targets and which ones you want to take out first. If you are getting attacked, you can use your aggro drop skill or stealth, even while tanking. Usually there'll be one or two healer classes tagging along who can't be bothered to heal and insist on dpsing only, which is stupid. Off-heals are still heals. I cannot understand why people can see how much easier runs are with a healer companion, but when they're not allowed to have one refuse to play the healer; unless of course they aren't subscribers and/or don't have the field re-spec, in which case, re-speccing is a chore and costly. Runs may be slower as a healer, but at least you complete the FP proper. Worst case scenario is you win boss fights through attrition.
-
If I wanted to be sneaking through the FPs and stuff, I might as well go play play Assassin's Creed or Metal Gear Solid. Reward for bonus quests still go towards legacy experience and credits iirc. So its not all pointless. Gone are the days where people played the game properly... Remember, More haste, less speed.

Thank you! Glad I'm not the only one with those sentiments. Wish Bioware reverted to the old queuing/FP system. That way players go back to learning the classes and become much less of a pain to carry through ops and hard FPs.
-
Who's idea was it to have full DPS parties for tactical FPs? Why have people stopped doing the bonuses? Why do people still choose to skip mobs rather than clear them? Battle of Ilum and Directive 7 I can understande. But too often when running around people pick up a mob train. Is it so difficult to do a proper clear of the FP? Why does no one CC anymore? Why are people queuing for roles they aren't traited for? Thx!

Maybe because devs wanted to create even more inter-dependency among the crafting classes? There have always been recipes requiring materials from other gathering professions than the main one used by your craft.
