  1. Personally I find sorc is the best by a fair amount, and the other two are pretty close.
  2. Dont know about the rest of you, but I only play to have fun.. afterall it's only some silly little star wars game that nobody else in the world even knows exists, why get so serious about it?
  3. I do enjoy saber reflecting their burst though, seeing one go from 100% to 30% just from saber reflect is always hilarious.
  4. They are kind of ridiculous at the moment, they need to have a trade of some survivability for some of their insane burst.

    healing

They are slippery I will grant that, but they are not invincible. You can definitely keep them busy and if one of your team mates is smart enough to clue on to the fact that there is a healer to kill and he knows how to use CC and his abilities correctly it is definitely not too difficult to down a healer. More importantly then that though you can annoy the healer and distract him enough that his team start dying one by one as he has to focus on himself and the odds start stacking in your favour and you can win the fight. And I have solo killed a healer with my shadow as a tank before, but maybe he was bad.
  6. It's either kill them or get globalled by them. I will always tell my team to focus the PT first, over the sniper/merc even as they pose the far more significant threat but they are able to be killed quickly enough to stop them doing too much damage thankfully. that said good ones are still able to survive well and do ridiculous damage no matter how well you focus them.

    healing

Firstly I will say that I am a healer as well as a DPS (I have 15 lvl 55+) so I know both perspectives. Healing IS NOT too strong, and the simple fact is that if you are a DPS and you can't kill a healer or at least distract him enough that he has to focus on keeping himself up while his team dies then you are simply BAD. I regularly heal 2k+ HPS in a good game and there are games where we have 2 healers who both do 2.5k+ HPS and we get completely nuked by the insane amount of DPS that GOOD players are able to produce. Conversely I have played games as DPS, usually doing around 1.5k+ DPS and I have no trouble killing or nullifying a healer. The problem comes when one team has more better players then the other, if one team has a premade of good players and then decent pug players it may feel like its the healer that is doing all the work and being ridiculously strong, but it is their team effort including the DPS which is resulting in your team getting beaten. The quality, or distinct lack thereof, of your DPS/tank's has a big impact on how the game goes. Also it must be mentioned that stacking certain classes also has a large impact, that is just how it is. And a disclaimer, I in no way think I am an amazing or even particularly good player. I consider myself to be average, that is of the standard that every player should at the very least be. Sadly many players fall short of this rather easy to accomplish standard. That said at the end of the day I play for fun, not to be the best, so feel free to think the numbers I stated are low (as they really are average) I don't really care.
  8. My favourite thing to do on my Jugg/Guardian is to reflect all their burst and global them by their own hand.
  9. Haha I had a similar experience on my Sniper, was liking the nice 12k ambushes but then getting focused by,... anything and your dead.
  10. Gone from one of the worst specs (if not the worst spec) in the game to one of the best (maybe even OP). I'm not going to complain though because I have a Shadow and am loving this spec now.
  11. I have killed plenty of healers, even when it was me vs 2 healers I have managed to kill 1 before the other ran away and got support so does that mean DPS is too strong? NO, it means the healers I was attacking were bad. The same goes for if you are healing and their DPS can't kill you, it doesn't necessarily mean heals is too strong it just means the DPS on you were bad.
  12. Overall you played well, you did have pretty average team mates also. Maybe try and making better use of LOS could help, that's something I have to work on myself.
  13. Has happened to me once or twice over the years also.
  14. Probably the best tip I can give is find a good healer and queue with him regularly, I have being playing my Sentinel and I can see the potential for great damage output but almost every game I get let down by mediocre (and just plain terrible) healers because I am pugging solo. If you can get a good healer on your team you can wreck with Sent/Mara even when you are getting CC'ed like crazy, but without the heals it is horrific. Also when you do get a healer, help them out by not being silly and dying needlessly, cycle your CD's effectively, develop situational awareness of both your team and the enemy so you know where to engage the fight and who to engage, know when to pop cloak/GBTF/Awe/Pacify etc.
  15. Maybe I should ask for a job.
  16. Can I have your stuff? But really, there are big combat changes and class balance changes coming with 3.0 which should be interesting for a while, and they have confirmed that new content (maps etc) is being developed for release next year. I know as a PVPer myself it feels like we are neglected and it isn't particularly wrong to think that either but they do show some support. After all PVP was initially an afterthought for this game and it has always been marketed on the PVE and story content. Thankfully they at least throw us a bone now and then.
  17. I was playing solo ranked on The Bastion the other day and out of 10 games at least 5 of them had 1 full team of sorcs with the other team usually having 2 or 3.
  18. I checked everything else besides his debuffs. I had fun making the video anyways.
  19. Actually Hunker Down is NOT immune to the grenade from the Diversion talent and I use it all the time to knock other Slingers out of Hunker Down and cover.
  20. Before Pubs dominated, Imps dominated. I remember when I first hit level 50 (Before 2.0) and it was constant losses while playing Pub side.
  21. Hah yeah I have had Recklessness with 3 stacks (Set Bonus) not crit on a Death Field hitting 5 enemies (or whatever its max is). Another thing that bugs me is rubber banding, if you get force pushed and leaped to and then try to force speed (Even with Egress/Fadeout) you teleport back to the same spot sometimes 4 or 5 times while the enemy is getting a full MS/Ravage on you because of it. Also happens with roll, both Operative and Sniper, which is quite frustrating also.
  22. Yeah thought as much, unlucky timing for me as he was probably trying to cc break my immobilize. Still killed him easily enough anyways Thanks for pointing it out, I can see it clearly now hah.

    Zomg hax

Maybe im just ignorant but something strange happened here, this is the second time after playing for a couple of years that I have noticed my stun not having any affect on an enemy (who isn't using shroud/entrench or has full resolve etc): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCpeRKgkx74 The thread title is a joke, the only "HAX" I know actually exists is speed hacks. I am thinking maybe he hit his CC break a millisecond after I stunned him, not sure but if someone knows let me know. Hopefully it isn't something simple that I have missed hah.
  24. That's what I thought but in the podcast it said they don't want to merge servers yet so maybe not.
