I also have decided to install Steam and then install SWTOR through that last week on friday. On Steam, it works. On orginal, it doesn't cause the launcher does absolutely nothing. I must say that I am also in DM's with JackieKo and she is really nice and being very helpful and I am letting her know with various options so the team can troubleshoot. Those that can't play, do it through Steam for now. Installing it goes pretty fast than it was like 4 or 5 years ago. Because it's done in like 20 minutes.

Thank you for your suggestions, I did try but as there was nvidia drivers update for me. And I changed it to run as administrator for windows 7. I was hoping it did but unfortunately it did not work for me. On my end, the issue with the 'Play' button does not launch the actual game.

My computer has Win 11 too. Everything was fine last night till this morning. Was doing an ops with friends, leaving when that was finished crashed the game so I wanted to log back in but got prompted with the game launcher update. After that finished, I did not notice any problems, launcher restarted a few times. Then I had that 35+GB check etc. That finished also okay. Then I logged in on the launcher, that worked. It's just that when clicking on 'Play' button next, is where it stops. One time, I thought it would go further cause the launcher did disappear after clicking on 'Play' button as it normally does, but it doesn't start up the actual game. And in task manager, I do not see any swtor process running when that happens. It looks like it just closed SWTOR. Retrying it again, the 'Play' button acts as a toggle, highlights on and off, and that being in some sort of loop. So I did send in the file requested over email. I got a response from CS with the same that I already tried. At this point I am not even sure if I should reinstall everything. But that is probably not going to fix this issue.

Hello @JackieKo, I also did download the installer, run it and selected 'repair'. It did finish in like a second. The launcher came up, I entered my password and security key code. I can log in, but the state I am in is that pressing on the 'Play' button, doesn't start up the actual game. I am still in the state I was in this morning after launcher update. When I log in on the launcher, it does show a red bar for a quick second so I can't tell what it actually says as it quickly disappears. My guess, the notification that there is a launcher update? But I don't know.

Hello @JackieKo, That doesn't work cause the repair button is not active on the launcher for me. But I have the issue that I can log in. But the "PLAY" button does nothing and acts like a toggle (highlight on/off) so the actual game never starts up.

Yes, it's awesome. I have the same problem. Launcher updated. I guess I can login, but clicking the "Play" button on launcher, it does not go further and apparently, it dies quietly. *EDIT* Email sent

It wasn't specified if it is for Story mode or a different mode... But I did the Malgus fight in the ruins of nul on story mode, on monday, day before 7.1, and I finished the fight without problems on my jedi shadow.

All finished up today: My main character leveled to 999 renown and getting the Limitless title. Reaching Legend reputation status for Thorn (rakghoul event) and Rishi. Got my first symbiote drop earlier this week, having to fight about 50 times those fungal champs. (Also finished the achievement.) My other characters I haven't played much so they don't have much for renown levels. And I probably won't bother cause it is like just 3 weeks left before 7.0 drops.

Yes, I just had it as well logging in on the website here. I have a security key on/as mobile app. I fix this by going to settings on the security key app, and tab on "sync now". Apparently it gets out of sync with the server or something. I had this a couple times on the launcher as well, doing the same thing with "sync now" fixes the login issue.

If you have just arrived on Onderon, do the story quests and you'll be level 75 pretty fast (using a xp booster). Before Onderon and Meksha, everyone was level 70 at the start.

I am sorry, but how is this not communicated directly? This "refund timer change" was announced now more than two weeks ago. You had two weeks to take actions not to end up with stored items that now no longer can be refunded to a vendor or whatever.

Yes, I agree BioWare should do that more often... And start with taking your toys away!! You see, your comment did not contribute to anything at all but only to come at me dictating that my "Play your way" style means things should be removed if something changes and I voice the same thing some others also have done. Eventually, we will get to see if something changes someday that you like if that comment of yours is keeping the same value.

No I am not always complaining regardless of what BioWare does but you forget the fact that most got this relic so we do not have to buy a dozen vaccines from the medical droid if for some reason getting defeated in a heroic there. Plus you also forget that having to use the relic now to keep the buff, the i-Rating drops to 292 which results that it gives crappy stuff when reaching a new renown rank as well, or any kinds of rewards that are now going to be 294. Yes, I know I could buy the vaccine instead but that was not needed if losing that buff and that was why I got that relic in the first place because if doing that heroic, you can't just go back to the medical droid or ask someone in the group to trade a vaccine. Some points you should have thought about before saying we are all complainers regardless whatever.

Yes, I do not get this change at all. Normally that buff would stay when taking off that relic.
