  1. OMG... you new SWTOR players are freakin whiners..."make it easier or I quit"..... My husband did it on his FIRST try, its a pattern stupid... you cant sit there and RP walk through it, you click and you RUN out IN A PATTERN. my god, read a guide.. or try harder... or....grow some balls and suck less... or better yet - unsub.
  2. Marisi & Fascinate So I'm sure you guys have been hard at work on this as well, but we all would like to hear what you decided to change on the new stat distribution from the patch? With the loss of our base 2%, the rotation is much slower and I've also noticed some of the proc's aren't working as the were pre 3.1.2.. so my questions are: 1. Do we simply add around 2% alacrity to replace what they took away? 2. Since the surge bonus to our dots has been removed, is crit still as necessary? Looking forward to hearing back from you!!
  3. Yeah the "Czerka Crate-O-Matic" is rare.. but... its a box...a box that you hide in. Personally, I would like something a little more epic. lol..
  4. Well, I suppose there is no reason to grind out the PVP rankings when I can just buy it with my monthly reward cartel coins! How disappointing! We FINALLY have "something" worth WORKING TOWARD, an exclusive reward, and BW announces that soon it'll be for EVERYONE to get! PAY TO WIN! In my opinion, THIS is the exact reason people are losing interest in SWTOR. There aren't any priceless rewards to being good at this game so why would anyone strive to accomplish these things? For those of you who played "WOW", do you remember "shiny's"? Shiny's were items (mounts, pets, etc) that were extremely rare. Meaning, maybe 1 or 2 people on the entire server would have that item! SWTOR doesn't have anything like this... which is extremely discouraging! There are no incentives . Bioware, think of it this way, if you gave rare items for achieving great things in game... People would play the game more, to get better, to get these rewards! In time, swtor players would become better players because there are rewards at the top of the ladder. You have to give people a reason to want to play the game. Content alone isn't enough. Operations alone aren't enough. Warzones aren't enough... Priceless awards aka Shiny's = WIN
  5. When leveling a crafting ability, you reverse engineer green items to get some mats back. This saves on the cost of leveling crafting abilities. Upon reverse engineering those items, you learn quite a few blue schematics. By the time you are finished, you've learned 20 or so, some which are unwanted. Unfortunately, you are stuck with them. There is no way to get rid of them once they are learned unless you delete the skill all together. It would be really nice to be able to delete unwanted crafting schematics. This would make it easier to sort through the ones you use a lot as well. Or I'd suggest a sorting tab for "Most Used". This would keep the ones you use on top and the unwanted ones out of sight.
  6. It would be nice if using these didn't break your "rez" stealth as well. I used to have one as my main source of regen, but after dieing to a mob and rez'ing, it immediately knocks me out of stealth upon use. therefore I stopped buying and using these.
  7. Suggestion: Dueling ring on fleet!!! I have often wanted to settle a dispute with someone while on fleet, though the 'no dueling on fleet law' forced us to travel to a daily area to resolve the matter. So I think it would be nice, and very entertaining to have a specific place, ON FLEET JUST to duel.....I recommend a "boxing ring" type setting, behind the Character Creation Station/Cantena in the Cartel Bazaar. The way i see it that space is just going to waste being empty and there are always BIG talkers on general chat/ fleet, this would give them a place to say "put up or shut up", a place where everyone on fleet who is reading General Chat can go to watch the legacy fist fight, or however you choose to settle the matter! PVP'ers would be able to settle the deputes which arise from warzones, one on one! And to increase population of spectators, you could even add a "double xp or reputation gain" for standing in the area by the dueling ring! Just an idea Ive had for a while and wanted to share.
  8. I don't doubt this takes a little time to configure, but there aren't that many parses/rankings to be changed since last update. It would be nice to see it current. After all, this is the "official" Leaderboard, right? It's been almost a month since it was last revised. ..and I did say please!
  9. THE ABOVE Quoted NEEDS to be updated to the 2.6 rankings please! Thank you
  10. So has any one run the numbers to see what the MIT loss is mb stacking absorption over def?
  11. Here is an older link, but nothing has changed since this was posted. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=639841
  12. The term Hybrid is typically referring to the use of "Engineering/Lethality" (5/18/23). You may want to look into this instead of the MM/Eng spec linked above. Losing Sniper Volley and several other abilities in the MM tree are just too costly. Hope this helps.
  13. Its really a shame that BW didn't listen to "the people" on this one. With this change, snipers are now using orbital strike in EVERY rotation as a filler, lol. Orbitals three hits are equal to one laze snipe, but cost less than a sniper. BW said themselves, we don't want AOE abilities used in single target rotations, yet they make Orbital more viable for single target rotation. Its obvious they didn't put a lot of thought into this change. Though I must add, replacing the pre-2.6 Orbital with one similar to laze sniper doesn't do much for snipers overall numbers. Even with the use of this sad 2.6 orbital in your rotation, you can still expect to see all the other classes out parse snipers. Snipers were just too liked in this game, so BW breaks them, just like they have done so many other classes. While wrecking snipers, almost all other classes got buffed, mercenaries, sorcerers, operatives, and even juggernauts. Removing the use of the PVP 2-set bonus would have been plenty of a nerf for snipers. I agree with everyone who posted on the PTS forum saying "don't lower sniper dps numbers, simply raise the others to match it"... If you take out the changes to orbital, they actually did just that. I don't get it Bioware. It would be nice to get some sort of explanation.. No more sniper DPS for me, its time to swap to my merc!
  14. Snipers currently wear the 2 piece set bonus from PVE and the 2 piece set bonus from PVP for max DPS. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=657177 Set Bonus For maximum DPS output, the 2-pc PvE set bonus and 2-pc PvP set bonuses are the best. PvE (2): Reduces the cooldown of Target Acquired or Illegal Mods by 15 seconds, and activating either ability restores 15 energy. PvP (2): Increases duration of XS Freighter Flyby or Orbital Strike by 3 seconds. AND A SECOND LINK: http://swtorboard.wordpress.com/2013/10/09/marksmanship/#7 "2-pc PVE and 2-pc PVP for more DPS (soon to be tied to 4-pc PVP) (2) Reduces the cooldown of Target Acquired or Illegal Mods by 15 seconds, and activating either ability restores 15 energy. (2) Increases the duration of Orbital Strike or XS Freighter Flyby by 3 seconds." PVE and PVP relics, armorings, etc are combined in PVE more than you realize...
  15. Yeah I've witnessed a group of PVP'ers attempt it, they stopped on Dashroode. Must be nice, most PVE player have to settle for 69 level, Arkanian gear for a set bonus because anything better is practically impossible..
  16. It seems some of you are confused or aren't even trying to think this through... Some comments here say PVE has an advantage by being able to "craft" gear... This is wrong! The gear that is craftable is NOT the gear needed to clear current content! The craftable gear is called Underworld, which is 72 level. Underworld gear no longer has the stats necessary to clear Hardmode Dread Fortress or Hardmode Dread Palace. Hence why Bioware made the bad stat version of 78 gear obtainable with Ultimate Commendations. So, again craftable gear is NO LONGER useful to clear content. As for the comm cap in PVE. It SUCKS!! You are correct in saying that the weekly cap only allows for ONE piece of the comm version 78 gear per week. The weekly cap on Ultimate comms is 150. I reach that cap in one afternoon of raiding, then my toon sits unplayed for the rest of the week. It would be nice to have a higher cap, or no cap at all like PVP. The gear you get from Ultimate comms is the second best PVE gear available right now, much like PVPs 65 or Obroan gear. As for PVP gear, its very easy to obtain. I geared my sorcerer in a full set 65 gear in 3-4 weeks. With the weekly and a daily, its very easy to obtain the second highest level gear, which is great for non rated PVP. I simply join the que, in my PVE gear and BAM, I have expertise! Easy! I can guard a node and surf facebook or whatever, while I get the necessary comms to get get the second highest PVP level gear! Thats extremely easy! You cant do that and get 78 level gear, you only get one piece then you are cut off for the rest of the week! The only way for PVE players to get gear, without a great raid group/guild is to farm Ultimate commendations. Because of the commendation cap on those comme of 150 - I am only allowed to get one piece per week, therefore it will take me 14 weeks to gear this toon! 14 weeks for gearing to the second highest available gear for PVE -vs- at most 4 weeks gearing to the second highest available gear for PVP = UNFAIR. (14 weeks if I dont have to get accuracy which only is obtainable on ONE piece of gear, therefore I have to farm one piece of gear FIVE times for the enhancement, which will equal another five weeks for the enhancements alone = 19 total weeks for SECOND best gear!) Unlimited PVP comms -vs- Capped PVE comms = UNFAIR.
  17. I logged in, no patch.... nothing happened. Bioware trolling?
  18. Over the past month, I have witnessed 18 people leave SWTOR to begin playing other MMO's. The main reason for these people leaving was "I am bored". Everyone who left has level 55 characters that are maxed out in gear, reputation, and completed all the hardmodes and most of the nightmare pve content. As a PVE endgame player, once I hit level 55, I began developing my perfect min/maxed gear which only took a month or so. Now that I have cleared almost all the operations on a nightmare level, there is nothing to do. I really don't want to give up on SWTOR, but I can see why everyone is moving on to new games, there is just nothing to do. I have 6 level 55 toons, all are fully geared out with perfect stats. Considering most of the people who I schedule operations with left, there isn't anything else to do. My suggestion is: We need MORE content, more expansions, more leveling, new flashpoints, new operations! You gave us Czerka. I solo'd the Czerka story mode flashpoints the first day. It takes less than 30 minutes to complete the dailies on Czerka. I am already champion level with Czerka and find it painful to do every day. Its just too simple. I am on the PTS. I have seen what will be coming soon and can already say its too boring. I cleared the operation the first night, in a group of complete strangers who had never done it before. This just wont be enough to keep people interested. Considering my lack of experience, compared to those who have played games for many years, this content should NOT be so simple. Make hardmode what it is supposed to be - difficult. Another suggestion: Getting gear should be more of a challenge. Because of the legacy gear, gearing is not a challenge anymore. Remember the speeder awarded for completing all of the operations in hard mode? This was a great example of a challenge. We should have to do more to get more! One suggestion, don't make all the gear boss drops. It would be a lot more rewarding to get a relic, or a set bonus piece that is given only to those who have cleared the all the content in hard or nightmare mode. And lastly- those of us who are level 55, geared out to the max, need something to do. Standing around on the fleet all day, staring at general chat just isn't keeping people interested. I know there are dailies and flashpoints to do, but why would I want to do them? Credits... comms....Why do I need credits? There is nothing to buy with credits. Basic comms? The only thing worth buying is isotopes, which I dont need because I got the gear so easily in the operations. Crafting? Why would I want to craft? To get credits? There is nothing to buy with credits. Anything credits can buy, you can get with cartel coins- which I get every month for free. we need more. please..
  19. VOTE OOFALONG! We don't need a PVP Mar for our pvp &pve class rep! Do it right - Vote OOFALONG!
  20. I agree!!! "OOFALONG" for our marauder class representative !!!!
  21. .......so has anyone found this "space garage" yet? Early expansion is out and no transport on fleet to dailies. Now we do have to go to Corellia for black hole and belsalvis for section x. Come in....we need ONE shuttle to go from fleet to all dailies.. Something simple? Oh wait...noooo this is BioWare, that's too simple!
