Your BIOS is up to date, unless you wish to install the beta version 3.00, it can be done safely through a exe in windows. I wouldn't be concerned about messing it up, most motherboards have the ability to reset to factory settings even if messed up, you won't break anything. Regardless, you do not need to update it. To update a BIOS is a common thing people will tell anyone in hardware support as a means to root out potential issues and ensure no old drivers on the customers end. Your issue is most likely a faulty driver/software somewhere. If it does not work with the sound card removal, I suggest you to lower graphic settings, or monitor heat on GPU/CPU while gaming and check the fans are all spinning and dust-off your cabinet. You certainly do not need a new processor for SWTOR, it is still pretty good for its age. Of course it all depends on the games you play, newer FPS games could benefit from 8 core/threads processors. I honestly doubt you've a BIOS issue, you can download the program CPU-Z and it will tell you the motherboard version and BIOS version. Then you can go and check the manufacturers homepage. There is probably a new BIOS version if you didn't touch it since it was built. It is normally a easy operation to do that, your BIOS setup menu on startup might even be able to update it automatically over the internet cable.

Yes you remove it from the PCI/PCI-E slot. I checked the latest drivers, no newer than when Windows 10 was released, so the problem from 2018 most likely still persist. As much as I love sound cards, their driver support is poor when they get aged. The fall update of 2018 is implemented in all windows 10 versions, it is up to ASUS to provide drivers that support the operating system in its current state.

What about the sound card, what are the latest drivers for it? I read online that it have problems with Windows 10 after Creators update in 2018. Try to unplug your sound card and run the game on the onboard audio.

They also explicit mentioned that they would be addressing it further in the next patch. So before you spew fire, be patient, if you cannot wait, purchase it and re-level.

On my characters the fix 6.1.2a have resulted in the following: Logging into alt characters for the first time in 8 days, confirmed on 3 alts, none have purchased the onslaught crafting upgrade: Skills that was above 600 (600<xxx) - have kept the level and shows xxx/700 Skills that was below 600 (600>xxx)- now shows xxx/600 The one Characters that I had logged into and bought the onslaught expansion upgrade to 700, on patch date, have not gotten anything changed on them, even thought their previous level was 700/700, I did not manage yet to regain it all the way up there. On another character where I did not purchase the onslaught upgrade to 700, and is 600/600 have no been changed, though it was also outside of the scope of the prior to 25th June date fix for 6.1.2a, so have to wait for the next patch for that character.

There is also the argument that the galaxy is a pretty huge place. For a technology to diffuse throughout the galaxy takes a looooooooong time. Just look at Earth for once, technology diffusion across Earth is pretty slow, things don't go mainstream just because they're invented. Then imagine technological diffusion across star systems, best of luck

Use the repair ability, it is extremely overpowered. You virtually cannot lose that battle if you just remember to repair.

Regardless of how it came to be, the current official response states it as a bug that it is reverted to 600. There have been no mentioning about paid or unpaid option. Thus any suggestions of the ability to level to 700 was a bug is pure fan speculation at this point. All responses from Bioware officials on this forum indicates that the reversion to 600 is a bug and not intended. What is troublesome in my eyes is that BioWare given the high confusing among the player base and the many speculations does not clarify it sufficiently, alternative they want to understand the root cause in the engine code before they go out and state anything in more details.

Same here, but rather strangely got: 660/600 700/600 600/600 They were all at 700/700 before patch, and I rejoined recently, figured I could level pass not purchasing that 500000 upgrade, which I certainly do not have the money for if I were to purchase it on all required characters... credits sinks are insane for ordinary players. Guess crafting is indeed just DEAD... I effectively spent 4 weeks on getting most of those crafting skills to level 700 from 600 on a lot of characters/alts. Now wasted time and mission credits...

I had a longer debate on Dromund kaas, people didn't believe me, glad at least others noticed it as well. It is mostly in non-sync'ed areas that this affect things. And mind you, I thought it was a feature not a bug... Initial I found out because my comps didn't have the same dps eventhough their ranks were similar, in the end I figured out that their mainhand was the reason.

Just did Rakata Prime for the first time after the patch. Must say that the final 2 bosses have an issue. Arkous will do insane damage with his lightning if you're far away, and he stays in the middle. Now healing stations are at the far edge of the map, making you take a high amount of damage from his lightning... those med stations needs to be placed more centered. Mostly I find that the healing stations have problematic placements.

Laptops manufacture's drivers are usually only updated 1 year past the release of the laptop. So you won't find new drivers there. If you're lucky you can install various versions of the AMD/Nvidia driver from the past months, to see if that fixes your issue. Go to the graphic card's manufacture homepage and check for drivers.
