  1. Last night, when using Alt+F4 to kill the game before the Kanoth fight in HM, I came back to a message telling me I was set to Preferred Status. As this was close to the time by account would be renewing the subscription, I didn't think too much of it. I had to go through the whole ordeal of resetting my EA account password to be able to buy a subscription plan, but not a huge deal. Tonight, the exact same thing happened. $80 paid YESTERDAY, now showing 0 days subscription time on my account after using Alt+F4 before Kanoth. I do NOT need the form letter reply from the dev team telling me to contact customer service, I will do that on Saturday when I am able to call (because the call center is not open during the game's prime time hours for some reason). I am asking the dev team to: 1. Fix whatever is causing this loss of subscription time, because it has happened twice now; 2. Fix Kanoth so we don't have to Alt+F4 to see the telegraphs for Lateral and Vertical Growth. Either of these would solve the problem, but both are blatant issues that need to be addressed. The Kanoth bug has been known since the fight released, and we just had a patch that included changes to R4 that did not address it.
  2. Waiting at Kanoth because the game decided now was a good time for one of our dps to do this launcher update. Randomly choosing players is a terrible way to implement this.
  3. I also had this problem. Game worked fine last night, wouldn't launch after the patch today. Reinstalling the entire game didn't fix it. I tried installing Origin like someone else said worked for them, and it fixed it for me as well.
  4. Can you please make the 50% damage penalty only apply to damage to other players, the same way the damage transfer on guard works? Having dps guard in operations is a common way of handling certain mechanics, and this will completely ruin the way people do those fights.
  5. Update: Last night in Dread Palace NiM one of our dps was unable to click the pyramid at the bottom during Tyrans, so the first time he got Simplification each pull, we were 7 manning from then on. After relogging, he realized that the extended section of the Galactic Guide was preventing him from clicking interactable objects, even when that section was collapsed. So not only is this change inconvenient, but it can possibly affect gameplay to make certain encounters impossible. Thankfully he was able to find a workaround, but can this please be reverted back to the way it was before yesterday? You could always add a popup window showing current Cartel Market sales on login for us to ignore instead, since that is clearly the main reason this was changed.
  6. I think the new Galactic Guide window should be decoupled from the instance/friends/guild/mail count bar that used to be in the upper left hand corner by default. As it is now, the only way to move those back to where they used to be is to turn on Moveable Secondary Windows, which I leave turned off (except when rerolling Amplifiers, but that's another problem that still hasn't been fixed). Also, after you open 2 more secondary windows at the same time (again, with the moveable option turned off), or hit escape without a target selected, the entire thing is removed from the screen, and as far as I can tell, there isn't any way to bring it back. All of this is very inconvenient, and while it isn't going to ruin the game or anything, it would be much better if the new guide window was its own thing and the old status bar in the upper left corner was back.
  7. The Alacrity change wasn't on the PTS. This wasn't talked about anywhere until the patch notes came out. My Alacrity is well over the first threshold, and the gcd is still as though it was at 0, while everything else is normal.
  8. His clarification was that it affects both stim cds and the gcd all the time. People were asking if it only affected gcd when a stim was on. I tested it on a dummy with StarParse open and my apm was right at 45, which is what it would be with no Alacrity. It only affects ability cds, internal proc timers, and resource regeneration now, which makes everything get out of sync.
  9. So, as the Patch Notes state, Alacrity has been changed so that it no longer affects the gcd, essentially rolling back to pre 3.0 Alacrity. I am wondering why this was done, and why it was not mentioned anywhere before the patch notes were released yesterday. I was testing on the dummy a bit before I started the new story, and without the gcd being affected by Alacrity along with everything else, none of my procs line up properly anymore, and I was actually doing less damage than if I had no Alacrity at all. Not to mention that this also means there will be downtime on DoTs unless you have a very specific amount of Alacrity and adjust your rotation accordingly, which may not even be possible (idk, I haven't really gone into the math on that). Was the intention here to make Alacrity a healer only stat again?
  10. I'm having this same problem tonight. All of my offline characters in my main account have the wrong legacy name next to them in the guild roster, but my alt account toons and the other guild members' toons are all fine. Alted to different toons and the problem persisted, with only the currently logged-in character having the right legacy name. The weird part for me is that it is displaying the legacy name of someone who was in a different guild with me about 8 months ago, who quit that guild before I did, and who is not in this current guild. It's probably just a coincidence on that part, since her legacy name is just a normal word (not saying it here for her privacy).
  11. That would make a lot of sense, seeing as Jawa Junk drops in command crates...just taking up space right now.
  12. As of 5.1, they have fixed the bug, and I can tell you that my parses have gone down by a few hundred dps as a result. The point is moot, but the way I could tell when I was affected was that I never had to use Saber Strikes in place of a Thrash for Force management. I did some parsing yesterday, and I am back to using Saber Strikes once every few rotations, pending rng. As a side note, parsely has removed all uploaded logs that were affected by the bug from their leaderboards.
  13. The bug seems to be affecting people at random. I main a Hatred Assassin, and I can tell that the stance bug is in effect during my parses, as I have little to no energy management (Force regen from Lighting Charge, double hits means double Force regen). I've only had to use Saber Strikes once in most of my parses, some of them I didn't use it at all. This post has more information on the bug. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=904336
  14. Hopefully, this new system will keep the current rotations mostly intact, as I am very much attached to that of my main (madspec sin). If I understand correctly, the Disciplines system will get specs acting the way they do in endgame sooner, and swap the utilities into a separate system for more customization. If so, then I am very excited about this change. Just don't screw things up. Please.
