My first romance was with Nadia Grell at launch, because I had a Consular and wanted some kind of romance because same-sex ones were omitted from the game. I was so effing pissed that Bioware had made that decision in some desperate bid to avoid angering the homophobes. Disgusting. And the decision did not age well post Obergefells... Then came makeb, and the sole Male-Male romance was possible with a pureblood sith. Sorry, evil red melty face doesn't cut it for me, if only because of the subtext of it all. Then we got Theron and Arkann, which were too little, too late. They should apologise for what they did. I can picture that meeting where they were all around the table and decided not to include same-sex relationships in the hope of making a few bucks. The people at that meeting ought to be ashamed.

Poor you, the consular story is really not all that great... I started with it too, 10 years ago and was so disappointed I left the game initially... However yeah, the kotfe/kotet are AMAZING stories.

Yes, I agree. The male body type 1 and 2 is especially infuriating as they're both elfin in appearance. Then you get type 3 that is uber muscular and fat type 4 lol.

Revert to the old theme when you logged in and change characters. The new one gets old real quick when tooning, having those voices screaming at you. Very annoying. Besides the old theme was AMAZING and is the game's signature. It's not that the music is bad, it's that it is really annoying for a welcome scream (*screen, that was an *actual* typo)

That's the problem with PvP, people are never happy, especially in this game. They always complain and they're never happy. They've never been happy and they'll never be happy. When wins weren't incentivised, people complained because people didn't try hard enough. Now that they are, people complain because they don't get rewards all the time. Stop. Complaining. PvP in this game will never satisfy you.

On what planet does anyone believe that they're entitled to attention from one specific employee after 30 hours? I mean they're employees not servants, they can do other tasks or otherwise be absent. As much as SWTOR's (un)responsiveness to the community deserves to be denounced, I believe this thread is completely inappropriate. This is a video game, not a life or death matter.

Oh hell no. Sorry to break it to you, but the toxic part is the progression/raid group. they're elitist and treat other players like TRASH because they're not as proficient as they are. Any game with endgame progression can breed those competitive idiots. Casual people are just that: casual. They want to enjoy the game at their own pace and have fun doing it.

I've collected some decorations in a star fortress run, but they seem to be bound for 36 hours of in-game play time on the character who picked them up. Is this normal? Because I love my characters but waiting for 36 hours of actual playtime seems to be very excessive...

I love Hoth. I feel it's one of the most well designed worlds, the mood, sounds and music are very appropriate for the setting. Plus ortolans are adorable. However, one thing I've noticed is that due to the fact that most of the color hues are blue, playing on hoth is extremely hard on the eyes. Blue tints will tire your eyes more quickly, which is why all my monitors are warm-colour shifted (and even then hoth is still very blue)

The only armor that matters is Jori Daragon's loincloth. I wouldn't mind a different design for men but I'll take what Bioware gives me and work with it.

I'm always very weary of difficulty settings based on automated stats modulation. I've tried veteran and I stopped because the damage from some enemies is so unequal. Some silver or gold mobs are more difficult than actual bosses because their damage becomes so spikey. I like a challenge, but I don't care much for gratuitous, unpredictable and wild variations in damage output. Then again, I play for the story. This was my fault for trying to play with a challenge. Doing so is a path to the dark side (or rather, being perpetual malcontents). So I am happy now, and that is all that matters.

In KoToR they used to make adorable cooing sounds. Now the ones I get off the GTN sound like they have emphysema. Disappointed!

Ya I wish the pvp requirement was removed, or that at least you could get him later in game as a same-sex romanceable companion!
