id like to say swtor has a 50vs50 zergfest lol but it cant handle 20vs20. This game is more zergy though with the chainstunning.

Its very depressing let me tell you swtor will have to make open world pvp equal to or better than that and i dont see it happening do you? You want to see a real warzone with REAL bolstering? My god that game has looked at what swtor has done wrong and has fixed it and REALLY listened to its players. Its the closest your going to get to daoc2 ill tell you that. Yeah its the main thing i noticed is theres no real big stuns thiers slows but your able to fight and move and have fun its not just you go in and stun stun stun hit medcenter lol. You want to talk about ttk fights last for hours in that game its the most fun pvp ive experienced in awhile.

First off this isnt a troll thread or gw2 fan thread. This is my view of what i saw this weekend compared to swtors live pvp. Im really concerned and depressed b/c if gw2 was to go live tomorrow based on my weekend beta this game would lose 90% of its pvp playerbase. (please note gw2 live could be different from beta and tank in fairness) Gw2 has 50vs50 even more in a huge large scale zone tons of castles to capture and hold. Theyve got siege weapons catapults and castle turrets that you can actually shoot and use. Gw2 instanced pvp - Bolstering that works how it should you get put to cap get full gear and weapons everything. No expertise no chainstunning extremely balanced pvp. Its very depressing to me that this game has no chance in hell to compete with gw2 pvp. Its not going to happen. Instanced pvp with chainstuns and expertise will not be able to compete with open world pvp in up wards of 50vs50 and more and instanced pvp with REAL bolstering. James,Gabe,George you need to get this chainstun fest/expertise nonsense fixed/removed and get viable open world pvp and proper bolstering going. All this screwing around youve done has cost you dearly. Im sure ill hear go gw2 then leave can i have your stuff well that doesnt fix broken sub par pvp in swtor does it? Im sure ill hear oh youll be back in swtor your just jumping on the cool/next thing bandwagon well that still doesnt fix the broken pvp in swtor it just takes subscribers away Answer me this how is swtor supose to compete with 50vs50 and higher open world pvp and a game that does what swtor tries to do with instanced pvp and has REAL bolstering in comparison. How can this game claim to have the best pvp dev team when all we have is the same warzones to do over and over and over to get gear that looks like crap to do more warzones and thats it? So let me have it but answer the question how is swtor going to compete with 50vs50 and higher large scale open world pvp. Give you more free tauntauns and free months? I really want this game to suceed but im tired of incompetence,lying and PR spinning things.

dont forget the 100vs100 at pax with gabe and the huge ilum debacle. Or james ohlen with his :best pvp team" statement. They should have done like gw2 shut their mouth and show tons of youtube vids of what they have rather then "we'd like to do this" and empty promises

someday you guys will realize the failure lies with the dev team. We dont have a competent dev team open world or instanced pvp. Reason why we have so much same faction pvp is b/c of rep side bieng so poorly done. No wookies/rodians the storylines on rep side such bantha poo. Oh well cant fix a fail pvp system with fail devs when you have james ohlen thinking he has the best pvp team arenanet has the best pvp team hands down ive witnessed this today first hand...

Ive said this a thousand times already. The problem is we dont have a competent pvp development team. They actually thought ilum was "amazing" it was a piece of bantha poo that slowly got instanced to hell and pretty much shut down. Go look at warhammer online forums where gabe used to work they have the same issues as this game does. If they cant fix the same issue there how are they gonna do it here. If gabe and james spent 1/2 the time they do advertising things they dont have and fixing whats left of what we do have we might get somewhere Im in gw2 beta today and its quite impressive. I would feel confident enough to place a 1 million bet on this game losing 90% of its pvp playerbase when it comes out. In beta thier warzones launch 100 times faster can handle more then 8vs8 it seems theres lag but its solid and works ill give them that. The open world 3 server thing that i seen so far is just awesome. Bioware has spent so much time screwing around with pvp and wasting time and just stupid idiotic things that make you wonder why your staying. Based on what ive seen so far im 95% sure ill be giving gw2 a try and coming back if bioware gets thier head out of the sand that is. I might get an infraction b/c i hurt the "best pvp teams" delicate feelings...

The reason pvp sucks is b/c the "best pvp team" is not the best pvp team<----- Look at the warhammer online forums its a clone of here. They couldnt fix the same issues thier why cant they fix the same issues here? Thier to busy talking about stuff they cant do i.e 100vs100 and rvr while meanwhile ilum is shut down and we dont have ranked warzones lol. You can spend your time bieng mad at someone unsubbing or you can adress the issue directly that people who leave do and get criticized for it. Id rather adress the issue which is we have a below par pvp team who constantly lies spends thier time giving people infraction b/c we dont praise them...shrug

nope it should have been this cycle not next. The guy said there was a delay in the free 30 days and will be the cycle after this one. It should have been this one even the guy was saying that not sure what this delay was pretty lame you ask me

I noticed i was bieng billed for this month when im supose to be getting a free month. I called and had to spend 30 minutes trying to understand CS from what i was able to understand is that your free month is in june not this month so watch your bank account and see if you get charged in june what a lame piece of bantha poo to do.

Yeah i dont get how you can go and say to your customer your waiting on technology? in the meantime pay us while you wait? funny thing is the free 30 days doesnt start until after this billing cycle as i found out when i called them just now. So in june youll have a free month it looks like

heres my question why was legacy and ranked warzones that never made it into 1.2 more of a priority over server transfers/merges? The legacy in comparison to server merges/transfers was a bad priority call. If server merges/transfers were a top priority we wouldnt have legacy and 1.2 would we? whoever does priority calls need a reality check when it comes to this issue. I dont see this getting fixed or adresed in a month i hope im wrong but i doubt it. Youll prob see more rakghoul events and after gw2 launch maybe theyll say gee we should have got on the ball with server merges/transfers and open world pvp.

Most of the people looking on my server anyway post looking for ev must have this gear set and have done this before and you must have vent/ts/mumble and you must be this and that. Funny thing is see most people cant do bt (black talon) more then end game lol. On my server anyways

it was nice but i was wondering why the end of the event was so bland. I was expecting to see malgus or shak ti come to the wreckage site and end the event or some sort of "story" ending to it? I thought bioware's big deal was story either way it was decent event something "positive" for once lol

it said it was fixed in the patch notes today but its not to me anyways bugged it as well "again"......

based on what i seen and this weeknds beta id say arenanet is getting rid of tor pvp lol

not the players its the devs. The problem is they didnt make rep side more appealing. Wookies,rodians and a better rep storylines would have gone a long way to making things more balanced. Instead we have legacy reroll and reroll and reroll and reroll...not gonna solve imbalance. A 3rd faction would be a more viable option but that would prob be xpac or something

lol expertise makes no difference when your chain stunned.You can have the full war hero gear set and just die the same as a fresh 50 its a contributing factor and valid point.If you want to be a butkisser so be it but im gonna be real with "george" and them b/c despite them lying and saying thier best pvp team and ilum bieng a 100vs100 i want this game to succeed im gonna call them on that b/c i want to do that and have competent people to make that happen

I do have a sorc and i will never bring that class into a warzone or pvp with it again its just insanely op and that lighting is just pure nuking. Even using other skils the lighting does the most dmg they need to put it on a longer cd and make the other skils more viable. As for healing its a joke compared to the agent if you want to be a healer your better off with agent anyways i have both and the agent outheals and has power regen the sorc can not do sustained healing like the agent. Chainstunning is related to ttk anyone that thinks other wise is not pvp'ng 1-49 pvp is still better the difference between 1-49 and 50 is HUGE. Why not put a poll would u like to see expertise removed from the game? If im wrong george prove it. Lets do what the players want not the devs...
