I agree. I would love to play swtor classic, version 1.x or 2.x (not 3.x because of the discipline system), although it might not be as easy for bioware to make, as you put it. But I'm sure that if 7.0 continuous to not go so well and they see positive reviews in the forums, like this one, they will take the time to make it.

The devs would just build a classic version and not update it. Why should they?

Agreed. 1.7 was a lot more fun then right now with our "expansion". It's true, it wouldn't be good to split the player base, but if you remember when bioware started focusing on a lot more on story content that caused a lot of players to leave. Swtor classic wouldn't separate players as much as it would attract them.

I would love swtor classic! I really miss how you would use skill trees to choose everything in your discipline.

Star wars the old republic is going to go through lots of changes in 7.0 that will just make the game better. But there is still one thing missing... slower leveling. Now I know a lot of players like the regular experience gain rate but it would still be a good idea for some players to have the option to level slower. That way players can do all of the quests and stay the appropriate level instead of the way it is now were players do all of the quests they have no choice but to get very over level.

SWTOR has gone through almost TEN YEARS of updates changing the game since launch. Because of this I (and probably some other players) want a vinnila server. Just think about how the game was back in the day... you could to all the side quests without geting over level... the quests were harder so you might have had to bring more players... there werent as many convenience options so it was more realistic. I thought Boiware was known for "pulling the nostalgic heart strings". So why not give us some nostalgia Bioware? I know a lot of players will disagree with me but a vinnila server should be an option.

I think players should have the option to play an older version of the game because of how the it has changed over the years and how it will change. Espeshily with the legecy of the sith update this december.
