  1. The matchmaking is FUBAR. I remember the devs saying that healers are limited to 2 per team in a wz. Well, looks like it doesn't work.
  2. You can easily get 150k hp with bolster. You need to craft 246 B mods and 246 mid-endurance enhancements and you end up with 148k hp, bolstered. You can even get to 160k hp with a sin tank and the heavy endurance enhancements.
  3. This is a good start. Nope, I don't want AP to end up like carnage just because Class Balance Guy doesn't play the PT.

  5. No, all dps classes should have the same survivability as the PT. So AP PT could reign supreme. And it would make tanks/healers more usefull.
  6. I agree, hutball is a nightmare now. They should also fix the leap bug to the goal zone. On a few occasions, I could leap to it with my PT (ironic knowing that PT leap isn't still working properly)
  7. Leviathan is pretty well balanced. They are 47 people on pub fleet and 50 on imp side as I'm writing right now 7:50 PM. And yes, there is only a single fleet instance on each side.
  8. Well, he's the one insulting all the people who spent countless hours trying to understand game mechanics and spread their knowledge. I cited a few of them and I've forgotten many more. These people did great jobs and I cannot thank them enough for what they did. Dps relics and lethal B mod are already pretty standard among pve tanks.

You want data? Go check KeyboardNinja, Dipstick and Bant's work on damage mitigation and theorycrafting, Banderal's data gathering on pvp mitigation and Hottie's pvp tanking guide. I'll gladly help people who wants to get knowledgeable but I have no respect for know-it-all dense people.
  10. Whatever the white knights say, they have no proof to contradict torstatus. But hey, history is bound to repeat itself and the merge wasn't a solution to players loss, just a mere placebo.
  11. I had the opposing thing once or twice in PVE. I could activate CoP while stunned and I don't use this utility point in pve.
  12. I wonder why bioware killed the API that torstatus used to show server activity? Maybe because it showed that it was skyrocketing.
  13. Tank set bonus doesn't do **** about threat generation. Or more precisely, the 2s cd decrease on certain abilities (rocket punch, force scream and wither) is moslty a pvp thing and and has a limited use in pve. If the tank keeps loosing aggro, that's a L2P issue.
  14. Nope, Arsenal is last and Fury is the best parsing spec. According to bioware, Fury dps has to be nerf because it should be parsing between anni and carnage which is not the case now. And I could add that the four lowest specs need a slight dps buff because they're lower than their target dps.

  16. Tanks in dps gear have been the norm for so long that I can't remember when it wasn't a thing. IMO, the problem is that most of the goods pvpers have left the game and those pvpers weren't outdps by tanks in dps gear. Nowadays, dps players that can't do 2k dps in a wz is the norm and because they don't know their class/DCDs, they will be outdps by tanks. But that was already case before 5.0 when you only had bads in your group. So tanks in dps gears seems OP because the general skill level of the pvpers has been going down, but they can easily be killed by good players.
  17. That's why they removed the server population API because they don't want us to see on torstatus that the server activity is dwindling.
  18. Keep in mind we're speaking about bioware devs. These guys can break things without even touching them. And they'll choose the lazy way to "fix" the problem. So they won't do anything fancy. IMO, they will just restrict tanks to wear tank gear and left mitigation untouched. So that will be a slight pve nerf and quite a big pvp nerf.
  19. During 4.0, you could be in BIS min/max pvp gear in less than a week. Heck, you could even earn WZ coms from lvl 10 and buy a full pvp gear set when dinging lvl 65. And pvp gear was more than enough to do HM FPs and the easiest HM OPs. And don't forget about Highlight OPs giving BIS pve gear like crazy. So, the entry barrier was not existant. Unless you're a healer, tanks and dps have diffrent pvp and pve min/maxing. Defence only works against white damage but if you're stunned, it won't work. Crit overcomes shield and I/E damage ignores DR. So if you're pvp tanking in tank gear, you're a dead weight to your team. In the best case scenario, your survivability will be negligible while your dps will be significantly lower than a tank in dps gear. You gotta love those 30k crit firestorm. If you're a MM sniper, you might want to run 10% accuracy because everything you do is white damage even your stun and those pesky sorcs have 10% base defence and you don't want to miss a stun in pvp. While for dps sorcs, accuracy won't do **** because they're only doing yellow damage.
  20. The vanguard storm isn't reliable in pvp. The ability goes on CD but you don't leap to the target. (Yes, I'm one of the few masochists that still play VG in pvp:rak_03:) Pull and Pummel utility doesn't work. You don't get the 20% damage boost to stockstrike. But the PT mirror utility is working. In KP, the Rancor boss goes through to the closed door.
  21. There is a drop-down-list in the vendor menu where you can choose which gear set you want to buy. As for high endurance mods, I'm afraid you will have to craft them.
