  1. Hello guys! I was wondering what should be the rested EXP gaining rate, do any of you know this? I start wondering it when I created my new character a week ago because I'm noticing something "wrong"... It seems to me that the gaining rate has been diminished a lot. With my previous characters I usually gained so much rested exp points that could last for my entire game session (usually no more than 2 hours) and I play only one time a day... Does anyone else have this feeling?
  2. Hi all! It's been a year I'm playing this game and I've played quite all the storylines of the different classes. I really love how the different stories relate to each other and with every planet story but there's something that I find difficult to understand: the timeline of these events. Sometimes it's quite obvious or Imperial Taris that takes place a lot after Republic Taris but other times I have some difficulties to place all the events in a timeline. So, my suggestion is: can every event be marked with a date or a year? Obviously it would be ATC The date may appear inside the codex or at the beginning of a cutscene, maybe the "opening" one of a story. For example: my toon lands on Voss and the first cutscene of the first story mission on that planet has the date. It should be done also with missions that take place between two planets (like the ones that end a chapter or I know it would be a bit hard to have some coherence between the class stories parts and every planet particular story but I think it would be great and will help a lot to understand the causes and the effects of some major event like the Battle of Corellia! What do you think about it? I had this idea after reading the wiki page on wookieepedia about the previously mentioned Battle of Corellia because they wrote they couldn't give a time frame for some storylines (the smuggler one, just to say it) I also had some problem to understand how much time passes between every chapter EDIT: I almost forgot it! flashpoints are even harder to understand when they take place! (black talon and esseles excluded )
  3. Well this is the first time that I read about the "Preferred Status", they don't even mention it in the sub vs free features page! I also remember to have read that FAQ (What happens if I decide to change from being a subscription player to a Free-to-Play member?) some time ago and I'm pretty sure it was different from now Well, this is a good news for me. I'm more focused on PVE so when I won't have much time to play SWTOR I just can select some of my characters, buy the crew skill slots and play 'till I'll have more time to justify the subscription!
  4. I just hope someone in bioware sees it and gives me an answer
  5. Here is my case: I'm a student so there are times (months) when it'll be hard for me to find enough time to play in order to justify the subscription BUT I may have some spare time so I'd like to play SW:TOR (like your friend does). Fortunately, there are also times when I have more free time (like when I only have to study for my exams) and I can spend more time with TOR. In this case, I won't have any problem to pay a subscription 'cause I wouldn't feel like wasting my money!
  6. I tend to trust only what I see and read. You can't blame someone for doing something you SUPPOSED he shouldn't do
  7. I still don't get why people are only focusing on warzones :/ it seems like that is the only problem for the f2p transaction... I'm waiting for an answer about my first post 'cause I think it's TOP PRIORITY to understand what happens to everything we actually have and use (cargo hold? no one uses it? crew skills? species? seems like no one with a chiss or a sith pureblood wants to know if he'll be able to play it in f2p...) I understand that lot of you are more focused on pvp but, fortunately, the game offers something else and I don't think pvpers doesn't use anything of what I've mentioned before or something else like purple items, whose equipment will be restricted. Let's say you're wearing equipment that a f2p user can't equip without that license. Would you be happy to log in and find out you're completely naked and you're forced to buy that license? At least you should be able to have the license for that items, then you're free to buy the other licences. Would you be happy to log in and find out you can't craft anything or retrieve materials because your account is F2P so the game locked or deleted 2 of your 3 crew skills? I think you'll be pissed off, but that is just my opinion... I think, as former subscribers, we shouldn't lose anything we had until the end of our subscriptions if we choose to play as f2p players rather than paying a new subscription and I haven't seen a single word from Bioware about this topic. I also think that new players who subscribe for the first time after the f2p transaction should be "rewarded" in such a way. Maybe they should have to buy the game (it'll be fair, 'cause I've read that new f2p players will be able to play without buying anything) in order to have that features unlocked after the end of their subscription. Btw I agree with anyone who says "3" is not enough. really, 3 flashpoints or warzones a week OR a WEEKLY pass? I'd like to know the price of this WEEKLY pass... last thing: I'm not saying that a former subscriber should be able to play like a subscriber but for free, it's obviously unfair. so restrictions on the number of multiplayer events (flashpoints, warzones, operations) or even on space battles are welcomed... but there are some things that should be left untouched EDIT: I see I'm not the only one
  8. this was also one of my questions about f2p
  9. Btw I have something in my mind that haunts me: i'm a subscriber now so I can access lot of things (btw I really think I'm going to create that new pureblood sith warrior I had in mind in very short time) like (quite) all the species, in-game credits payed inventory expansions, 3 crew skills and other things. What will happen to what I already have IF i choose not to be a subscriber anymore? My main has 3 crew skills at 400 but f2p players can only have 1 crew skill, so my question is: what happen to the other 2 if I become a f2p player? The same question applies to everything else I have NOW as a subscriber and I'm using NOW. I'd like to know more about it 'cause it'll be REALLY disappointing to lose everything (I mean DELETED) 'cause I choosed to become a F2P. I could understand a lock on features F2P players are not supposed to have but I won't like it because I've already payed something. I mean, as a former subscriber I think I should have access to everything I could have until the end of my subscription. Let's say that someday every character can have 4 crew skills. When I was a subscriber the game only allowed 3 cw so 3 are the cw I should have. Now I'm a F2P player and Bioware decides that cw can be 4 BUT only for subscribers. So it's ok that I should buy the 4th skill on the cartel market OR subscribe again and gain that new feature "free" even when my new subscription will end. I hope it's clear what I mean and I'd like to have answers about this topic
