  2. @OP

You can recruit Nico without instantly using his contract.

    From dulfy:

Find and speak to Nico Okarr on Zakuul

Mix a drink for Nico Okarr

Regardless of which three ingredients you picked, Nico Okarr will tell you to not forget the little umbrella after you picked the third ingreident. This is crucial and you want to make sure you clicked the the little umbrella near the end of the bar bench inside a glass. You won’t get a notification that clicked the umbrella so interact with it a couple times just to be sure. After you have interacted with the little umbrella, interact with the drink mixer to mix the drink and the little umbrella will automatically be placed inside his drink.

  3. Commandos do not tank, they have heal spec, Gunnery DPS and Assault Specialist DPS. I prefer Gunnery to Assault Spec. While bolt storm is okay, I liked having both of them to choose from. Plus I'm also glad I changed my Sentinels over from Combat to Watchman ... I'm doing much better with that discipline.

Ah yes, so a heal spec. Full Auto should not be used in Gunnery since 3.0 (Shadow of Revan). It got replaced by Boltstorm but back in the day Bioware hadn't tools to make it work to replace automatically, so you always had to do it manually.

  4. Everything got one shotted in dailies in 192/198. So it essentially change nothing? GG, thanks for the dev time on a feature that changed nothing?

Delusions are strong in this one. What you claim is bantha poodoo because even in the bonus set 192/198 from HM ToS and Ravagers mobs in the daily areas didn't get one shot.

  5. Third - You can do 5 flashpoints a week DONT DO THEM ALL IN ONE DAY... unless you have no other choice and its the only day you can play but if you do it once a day you can pick up the daily mission from the supply area on the fleet and get more COMMS that way.....

Correction: They can do an infinite amount of flashpoints. The only thing that is restricted to 5 is the loot from the last boss.

  6. I am having the same issue with Full Auto for my Trooper Commandos ... it's nowhere to be found, can't be retrained and there's no mention of it disappearing in any of the class blogs or patch notes. I am NOT a happy Trooper about this.

Because you are in the middle spec. Change spec to DoT spec or tank spec and you get Full Auto to train on the trainer which replaces Boltstorm or whatever that ability is called.

  7. Also, when I see "meh, I finished it in one evening" I already know that this is one of those thread that regularly pop up when a new game or expansion gets released.

" I finished Witcher 3 in two days. CD PROJEKT RED WHY YOU SO LAZY AND ASKING $50 FOR SO LITTLE AMOUNT OF CONTENT."

You know. If you gave up on any RL duties you can finish any game within a day or two. That's not a good argument against the content.

  8. But why would anyone think otherwise unless we are assuming bioware is bad? are we? is bioware a bad company? should we be worried about Mass Effect? Should we be worried about anything EA/STAR WARS related? should we? do we have to question everything this company markets because they are trying to get extra money using * to mislead?

Now you are not even defending your original claim about the shady marketing but going into the nonsense offtopic that drifts away from the point of the discussion.

I'm not a native speaker but even I know what the words "choose to be a subscriber FROM a TO z" mean. Nothing shady about that.

CHOOSE TO BE means BE A SUB/DECIDE TO BE A SUB. The question is when? Well, the question is simple "FROM A TO Z" which means STARTING FROM ONE POINT AND ENDING AT THE SECOND POINT.

So the problem is that you misunderstood the sentence and assumed something erroneously. Also, it's not a matter of worrying about Bioware and their plans. Bioware is a company. Like in ever other contacts with other companies you don't sign up something after reading the first line, do you? It's about a basic reasoning.

If you have the Internet from the same Internet provider for 10 years, you don't sign a new contract right after reading the monthly cost, do you? When it comes to your wallet and money, you never should assume but you should KNOW what you sign. You didn't know. You just assumed. You were wrong. End of the story.

  9. Agreed.. I've never seen a model like this. The rule is to "Never, Ever, Evah! piss off subscribers". I wonder how many of us fell for this? How many subed between aug and oct only to be disappointed? now we're stuck with a choice: leave the game now or wait and finsh the story. I chose the later. than I'm gone.

So lets see.. I subbed (resubed actually after years absence) in aug so that means 15 X 4 (probably roll into November) - so I just paid $45 for a expac. And I didn't even get the perks. Great model for EA. Bad model for me.

founder title is cosmetic, early access isn't. Which leads me to question has a game ever locked out a player base that has payed for the game? Pre-orders get you into early access. I think this might ave been the first time a compnay has locked out paying customers to there game, because essentially it only cost one subscription to buy KOTFE not four as is suggested.

You got what you paid for. You paid 15 dollars to get KotFE and you get it just as planned for late subs on 27th. You didn't pay for Early Access, so you didn't get it.

  10. @Master-Nala

Kudos to you that you try to reason with them.

So guys, you are the elite PVE snowflakes that are okay that companions are locked behind PVE gates that a PVP player needs to face but you are not okay when one or two have the requirements the other way around? Aye. Before you even start your smart talk that companions belong to PVE, let me remind you that a PVP warrior has the same right to get Pierce as you since it was always his original companion.

  11. It takes about 4 hours without skipping cutscenes. It *feels* shorter than SoR. That said, you cap level around ch5. Ch9 isn't actually even the end of the expansion.

Total, I'd say this expansion is bigger than SoR, but because getting through ch1-9 is pretty quick, it feels smaller.

I wonder how it took you 4 hours to do all nine chapters. Yesterday all my guildmates after 4h were at either beginning or finishing Chapter 5.

  12. I have been subed long before the 19th of nov and i'm not receiving the Early access

    November is not here yet.

    It's October...

Subbing before the 19th doesn't grant you Early Access...

You serious or is this a troll thread? It has been discussed several times. It always said on the main expansion site:

To qualify for the Early Access Bonus, you must have qualified for each of the four rewards by being a subscriber on each of the 4 listed reward dates. Once you qualify you may enter and play Knights of the Fallen Empire on October 20, 2015, seven (7) days prior to live launch on October 27, 2015.

So you needed to be a sub on:

-Nico Okarr Companion: August the 10th as of 11:59PM PDT//6:59AM GMT.

-Nico Okarr Blaster Set: August the 31st as of 11:59PM PDT//6:59AM GMT.

-Niko Okarr Duster Coat: September the 30th as of 11:59PM PDT//6:59AM GMT.

-Star Wars™: Knights of the Old Republic™ - Inspired Swoop Bike: October the 19th as of 11:59PM PDT//6:59AM GMT.As long as you're subbed on the days in question and are eligible for all 4 rewards you should get in to the early access.

  13. I knew this would happen. People don't read more than 1 line in FB/Twitter post and think they know everything about Early Access. Bioware should learn from the mess which was caused on the reward dates that they need to be very precise in their post on FB/Twitter so more people that don't read anything beyond that understand it clearly. All people screaming in the comments and asking where are their rewards on those dates should be a warning for Bioware to change their posts to be more explicit.

The word "choose" was unfortunate. Many non-native speakers thought that they can literally choose the time period from A to Z to get into Early Access. The words such as "Be a subscriber from A to Z" or "Remain a subscriber from A to Z" would be much better and explicit. I read Terms and Conditions so I knew about the actual rules and I tried to spread this info but it's impossible to reach everyone who asked about it.

This mess could be easily avoided. The warnings were there. Bioware did nothing about it. I think the fault is 50-50 between Bioware and customers.

  14. Are you saying the people who develop the game are more important than the people who paid for it? So hard working developers who delivered a game, are more important than hard working customers who paid for said game?

Sorry but that is a flawed argument. If i work my --- off to pay for a developer to work their --- off to create a game, i deserve to get what i pay for.

All I say is to be a realistic person that understand the adult world and not being a spoiled brat who always demands for more while something is impossible to do because of circumnstances. You don't understand that there are certain limits they can do and a certain budget they can't exceed. At some point they need to say "ok, this can't pass. This needs to be cut" because this is REAL LIFE. So wake up, come out of your mom's basement and taste some real life problems, deadlines and choices. Then you will understand that you can't do everything and get everything within a certain period of time. I can demand to have 1 new warzone every 3 months because I believe that I deserve it to get since this is what I pay for. You pick unrealistic expectations over reality. It's like spitting in the face of football players just because they got only the third place in the World Cup and you paid for tickets expecting them to be the first. Don't like it? Too bad. They should not add any additional dialogues in Kotor style at all and have those companions mute all the time, right? That would be so much better! At least nothing to complain about..... oh wait, you would complain that those companions don't talk at all.

  15. At first it seems like a cop-out, but I'm hoping this means we'll get more regular companion/contact storyline content. Say one month they want to do a storyline with a new potential companion. They only have to bring in that one voice actor rather than all eight VO actors for the main characters who may not be available. Especially if they're doing this stuff every month. You're probably not going to have access to the main character voice actors that often. It's a lot easier to get access to just the one VO actor for the follower. So I really hope this means we'll start seeing more of this type of content more regularly as it will be much more economical for them.

Indeed. Anyway, developers can work their asses off but it doesn't matter because there are always some people who are never satisfied. They always want to have more and better. Don't like what Bioware developers try to do and do their best to deliver an amazing expansion? Go and play other MMOs with the main characters voicing everything.... oh wait. They don't exist. If I worked on SWTOR and worked my *** off and then saw threads like this, I would be frustrated and disheartened. People are jerks :/
