  1. Depends on if they remove restrictions to do endgame contents. You can already use a fortune on unlocks! So I don't want to be limited when doing Operations or PVP (times per week).
  2. What it says. It would be a good idea as you don't only have to rely on what you can earn on GTN! With a balanced priced both person and BW can profit on this
  3. I am just thinking they are a money machine!! Because of that what is better. No restrictions at all, you can do PVP (ranked) and Operations all you want but don't get gear for reward. Or the game is restricted with no Operations and few PVP per week but you do get gear for reward (the crates). With the first you might sub to gear up, after you can go preferred with no restrictions and play with your friends. Actually, I don't think it is okay not being able to play (having restrictions like PVP), considering all the unlocks you can buy and use a fortune on it!?
  4. I can live with restrictions to F2P, I'm more worried about preferred status! All the unlocks you can buy: quickbar, show titles, artifact equipment ect. End of the day you might have bought the game 5 times!? My question is, are preferred gamers restricted from PVP and Operation? I mean, it is sort of ok if you are not rewared with gear. But I don't wanna be locked out from doing PVP and Operations? Can someone give me an answer on this:rak_02:
  5. There have already been tons of ideas how to improve the system. Another idea I can come up with is keeping the idea with the crates and RNG. Besides that you can also keep how the Operations work. Having both will unbalance things and to compensate it, every time you get a gear piece in Ops you will not be allowed to get crates by GC. Bit of a penalty to balance things out. The same goes for PVP, choose to get either cystals or RNG crates.
  6. Well what is the time frame then once you hit level 70. Subbing 5 years or 2 days to get the drops and ranks you want. We all know there is a reason to sub, however I quit when there is no reason to go preferred.
  7. I know it is not flawless but it is also a new system, young in its age with room for improvements. Can it be long and tedious getting the gear you want, I guess so. However at least you are not forced to go one way be it pvp, pve or gsf when trying to gear up. I am not sure it should be reason for playing either, let it be a carrot but play pvp because that is what you like. You are forced to sub to earn ranks what is the alternative; this way you can go preferred when you think you have reasonable good gear. Don't let them nerf that. What happens with new expansions, old content gets dried out pre 5.0 and level cap. New players have difficulties finding players to do old raids with. Saw it in wow, new levels cap are so big that gear picked up from questing is much better than old raid gear. If this new system improves on that, I'm not sure it does, but it gives players a reason to play old content as it add to the overall cxp and rank. Few thoughts on the subject.
  8. I don't care! Is it better to quit a loaded map when you realise you don't wanna play it. Then the result remains the same, not equally players on each team. Make a toggle mechanism (on/off switch) for those maps going into a queue, more maps mean better chance for a pop up. At same time avoiding ragequit after an hour you realise it is a map you don't wanna play, spoiling it for other players.
  9. Have I overlooked something, if not is it possible to implement toggle button for PVP maps, an on/off switch. I simply like to be able to choose between which warzones I wanna queue for. Besides that I avoid leaving a loaded pvp map
  10. Bump. Shuttle from Dromund Kaas and Coruscant would be fine. Starship from Nar Shaddaa and Tatooine into space.
  11. Just thinking if they are gonna expand on strongholds, utility and opportunity. What if they introduced heroics or (missions much like when you are introduced to space missions). These missions can be, defend your stronghold, a meeting taking place one is a traitor or captured enemy tries to escape. Something that would adress strongholds and missions to become more interactive. Rewards small amount of CXP and decorations.
  12. Tier 1 is Command Rank 1-89. Some logic would be gear in the middle and gear with bonus closer to the end
  13. Oh sorry, I thought you guys meant reaching Command Rank 300 without leveling your alts. Else if not already possible, easiest thing is adding a 10-15% boost to CXP when reaching Command Rank 300 on your main!?
  14. Ohh that is what people mean. Then I can approve. First I thought it meant to have all alts reaching Rank 300 without lvling. Are you people sure there might not be a 10% boost to CXP once you reach 300 Command Rank at your main. Same as with with GSF you get boost when mastered. Though it is for mastered ship only. However they could add a 10% boost for alts.
  15. What I wrote was not information but merely suggestions to the topic starter; as instead of.
  16. Ehmm seriously, I say no for same reason once I reach lvl 70, I don't want all my characters being lvl 70. People think the most important thing is to have the highest rank. Its not, however what is important, is you can still join a group whether it is pvp or pve content. Not to say inflation and schematics will be penalized.
  17. http://dulfy.net/2016/11/29/swtor-galactic-command-guide/ There are 3 tiers. Tier 1: Command Rank 1-89 Tier 2: Command Rank 90 – 179 Tier 3: Command Rank 180-300 Higher tiers give better equipments. Though I don't know if Rank 1 and 89 have the same drop chance.
  18. OMG, it is like saying once I reach lvl 70 on one of my characters, I want all of them be lvl 70. This new level up system should mean with next expansion, they can add extra context without raising the lvl to 75.
  19. I rather it depends on your Command Levels. The closer you get to ending a tier, aka 89 for tier 1, better the chance to get gear with a bonus. 100% drop rate. As Command Rank 45 gives you a 50% chance or some sort.
  20. Some of the best cutscenes are from class story chapters. I like maybe through a logfile, you can run all cutscenes as one complete video file. Seeing how the armor on character evolves.

Other ways to get what you want instead of cartel market which I agree in some way spoils the game. Complete 200 GSF games, 200 PVP battlegrounds, 200 PVE flashpoints, 20 special quest, Kill Sith Lord or Jedi Knight of one given city where the opposite fraction can defend their "King". Earn one platinum item from cartel market. Complete 200 GSF games, 200 PVP battlegrounds, 200 PVE flaspoints. Earn a gold item from cartel market. Etc. Receiving an item will reset the score and you can go again for a new item. More players will be intriqued to play more instead of spending time at GTN.
  22. I'm a subcriber for two months have been in the past too. Since I don't play regulary and haven't many credits to buy from. I felt it was bit necessary to buy cartel coins to add to the value. I have bought 5500 cartel coins, spend it and thinking of buying the same again. However I can't help thinking if the game is worth the cost? There must be a limit where even you think enough is enough. I don't recall many games where you can spend more money besides being a subcriber. I know you can buy tokens in WOW. This kind of politics is it good for something maybe besides a faster way to earning credits? Is it a reason you have the ability to play the game as non subcriber or are developers just being greedy?
  23. GSF is sort of a minigame, I don't see why pot racing shouldn't be the same. If it is interesting and funny enough!? However where GSF is a minigame and outsiders cannot follow the race, I also think pod racing is a fun installment for an audience as well as the competitors. Unless it is a minigame, I just don't know how you will implement the speed and pod racers.
