  1. Exactly. Without a leader board the guild challenge is pointless. The PVPers like to compete and smack talk each other. Without a rating and leader board they can't do that.
  2. Suggestion for the devs who love this game and wish to see it flourish. Seeing as how you are becoming focused on guilds right now we put forward the idea of 8 man guild ranked pvp. The hypothetical mode would work as such; To queue for this game mode you will need to be in an ops group of eight players. The eight players need to be in the same guild. There are no limitations on player composition. That means if you wish to queue eight healers you may run that risk. Rating will apply to this game mode and will be awarded for winning matches. The rating is awarded to the squad NOT to individual players. Thus this mode will be team focused. The leader board on the official website will display which guild has been doing well as opposed to recording which player is the best win trader. This game mode will be applied to ALL eight man match types. This means if you rage quit that Vandin huttball or that pesky Odessen your team will suffer. Back-fills are not allowed. If you have a player disconnect or rage quit you will play a man down for the remainder of the match. If enough players rage quit or disconnect the automatic shut down will commence and the opposing team will win.
  3. You need to change your business model. This pay per month to play thing is simply bad. It was a shock when the game launched and still leaves a sour taste in the present day. Plenty of other games make do without this monthly daylight robbery. When you release new content SELL it to the customer. Right now the customer pays monthly to use something they already paid for once. They also pay monthly for the vague hope that you add something extra that they will want.
  4. Sigh. Again you did not read. These are suggestions for whoever is in charge of this mess; not you.
  5. You didn't read the title. These suggestions are not intended for you.
  6. Suggestions for those left steering this thing. List of things to maybe bring back to the game that were removed for no good reason. 1) Ability animations adored by the player base (ie master strike, flamer thrower, flechette round). A simple toggle for the old animation would go a long way. 2) Separate gear in PVP and PVE. Pretty simple and good how it used to be. Comms awarded for doing PVP and PVE which were used to purchase the relevant gear; easy. 3) Servers that were actually good and were appropriately spread around the globe for low ping. 4) Expansions that you had to actually buy when they came out. I think Hutt Cartel was one that had to be purchased; it was a long time ago now. You don't give away your loot boxes from the Cartel Market cash shop so why give away the good stuff? Make them pay for it.
  7. I did not think you would ever actually implement one of my suggestions but seeing as how you like to prove me wrong I have some more for you. 1) Paid Companion Story DLC $$$ Story package centered around each of the vanilla companions to be purchased from the cartel market. Put saving the galaxy on hold to go and adventure with your chosen companion in a story where they are the focus. 2) Paid Flashpoint DLC $$$ Flashpoints: (perhaps in a pack of 4-5 separate ones) for the player to buy from the cartel market at a reasonable price. 3) Paid Warzone DLC $$$ PVP maps that can be purchased from the cartel market and unlocked for the warzone queue. (pack of 1-2 maps per purchase). 4) Operations Paid DLC $$$ Buy a selection of new operations (perhaps a pack of three) from the cartel market to be unlocked in the activity finder UI.
  8. And here I was thinking you Bio-ware folks just ignore everything I suggest. Guess I stand corrected.
  9. A voice of reason amongst the madness. You bloody legend.
  10. I will second that. Would sooner play pvp in 208 gear with 60ms than 248 gear with 334ms.
  11. It's almost borderline racism. Reading between the lines we can interpret their public statements to mean that foreign players are substantially less important than our American players.
  12. And if they decide they make more money by closing down the entire game you gonna defend that aswell?
  13. I was dumb enough back then to think that it meant "if this doesn't work out we will just change it back," apparently not.
  14. For the 467th time can we please have some acknowledgement regarding the foreign players can't play the game because of this.
  15. Going to use this as opportunity to tell you to relocate a data centre back to California so Trixxie and the rest of the foreigners can have semi-decent connection. There are a lot of people want to play who can't.
  16. Nice job BioWare and Electronic Atrocities, between the pair of you I now steer clear of any games that either of you make. I have just gone out and purchased a few games to replace this one (which you ruined for me). Don't worry, I made sure that none of those titles were connected to either of you so you didn't get a dime. You're welcome. It is comforting to know that there are still some companies out there dedicated to making a good product and not focused on extracting money for shareholders. Unsurprisingly neither of you fall into that category. Until you prove that you can admit your mistakes and put them right you won't be dipping into my wallet again. Your sneaky business tactics and disdain for your customers is going to be the end of you.
  17. Prejudice, hatred and other wounds run deep; especially when aggravated by war and death of loved ones. Veteran Republic Troopers and Sith would never fight together after suffering at each others hands during decades of war. The Empire and the Galactic Republic differ fundamentally in their values and do not mesh together. I found the idea that they would put such feelings aside and join the "alliance" to be a joke. The only plausible explanation would be that those who joined the alliance were new "shinies" as Captain Rex would call them who did not have any experience.
  18. If you feel inclined you may manipulate their "matchmaking" system by creating a 65 character that is the same as one you already have. Transfer old pvp gear set (208s) over in legacy shells. PVP from 65 to 70 with experience boost activated. Then once you hit 70 you can use your 70 gear from your alts on your new character. You keep all your knowledge and most of your gear. The benefit is now you will no longer put with people who are "useless." If I understand the matchmaking system correctly, it will not be able to tell that you are experienced and geared. It will just see your lack of wins/valor/mvps or whatever is uses to gauge your "hidden rating" for regs. You can then temporarily enjoy relatively easy wins until you reach the threshold again. It's an expensive fix but it did work previously.
  19. So we are in agreement then. OPs leader in PVP is literally pointless and may as well be removed. So why was it put there in the first place?
  20. LOL do you actually think that there is a direct correlation between the number of complaints and how quickly something is as you say "fixed." And you call me delusional; the gall. If 100% of people who post here agree with something do you think that will make it happen any faster? Things get fixed when BioWare wants them fixed you fool; not when the player-base unites and cries in unison! This is not a democracy, it's a Bioware dictatorship.
  21. Yes you rays of sunshine I am aware of existing problems. This is a concept suggestion. For a community that rabbits on about no new content you seem to be quite anti-anything new.
