  1. Keep in mind that if you play Sorcerer and go Lightning spec then you lightning lightning some lightning to do lightning because lightning. My wife plays that spec and I can barely tell her skills apart.
  2. I don't love the Defender but I definitely like it better than the BH ship (the Mantis I believe). Thing looks like a garbage truck with little wing stubs attached.
  3. I prefer Vengeance with Jaesa. I generally keep her geared with blue mods and she can take out packs of standard and weak enemies on her own, allowing me to focus on the strongs and elites.
  4. I just make it simple. Lightside = Vette, Darkside = Jaesa.
  5. Unfortunately, the two advanced classes that use rifles (Vanguard and Operative) are both primarily melee.
  6. Sorcerer: single-blade Assassin: double-blade (can use single-blade but it isn't viable) Juggernaut: single-blade Marauder: 2 single-blade (can use 1 single-blade but it isn't viable)
  7. Blizz doesn't have any quests other than the "conversation" quests. I believe the only actual companion quests are for your first companion, no matter which class you play.
  8. I hate the new stance. My character is a professional bounty hunter, not some idiot from da hood.
  9. Check the "Weapons" vendor on each planet. Most of the planets now have green moddable techblades/techstaves/vibroswords.
  10. I recommend leveling as Rage. Rage focuses on burst and AoE, which is great for leveling because most combat while leveling involves short fights against trash mobs. Vengeance on the other hand focuses on single target sustained damage, which is better for boss fights (flashpoints and operations).
  11. I believe the TC was asking about a solo leveling build (using "Ops" to mean Operative, not Operations). I would suggest enough points into Medicine to get Kolto Probe and then start putting points into Concealment.
  12. Thanks everyone! This will be my first 50 so I didn't know how hard/easy the dailies were. I know some dailies in other games (like Limlight Gorge in Lotro) are actually pretty difficult.
  13. Hi everyone, My powertech is 48 and approaching the time to do dailies. I know the Recruit MK2 gear is for entry pvp, but is it good enough for PvE dailies? Just solo ones, not group. I don't plan on doing endgame PvE on him yet (working on my other alts first) and I hear you can get this gear for free, so I wouldn't mind using it for a while if it's doable.
