No.
There are several reasons.
1) The thing that made SWTOR different and unique was the fact that each class had a unique story. The planetary and subsidiary Missions remained the same, but the class stories were DIFFERENT. You could level up 8 characters and get a different experience each time. I loved that. Of course, that is now irrelevant as KotFE has given us one, just one story. Despite the claim that you can change things in the choices you make, that is not true. So once you complete the storyline on one character, there is no reason to do it again. I have moved two of my chars to KotFE (one light, one dark) but I am not going to move any of the others because I will have to repeat the exact same story all over again, and again, and again.............
2) Companions are now generic. I spent considerable time getting gear, that certain look and weapon for each companion. I spent TONS to get the correct color for 4X so he would match my personal HAVOC squad color combination. Meaningless, as every companion is a clone.
3) I don't much like the story, and the missions run into each other without pause so you have to play a rather long time before you get to a "settled" area where you can stop.
4) I hate.....HATE PvP. I dispise it, loath it, WILL NOT PLAY IT, but to get 4X, you HAVE to. My reaction is...F*** you Bioware. PvP is not a STORY...like in "We are returning to storytelling...." Yeah, let's jump to Huttball in a timeline where the Hutts have been defeated. If you were going to make PvP required content, why are we fighting Jedi to Sith?. We are supposed to be Allies now, right?
5) Why the crafting changes? I did not see anything wrong with it as it was.
6) The stat changes just make's players more like clones. There is nothing unique, no reason to look for special gear as it is all the same. Heck, I used mods and armour meant for a force user on my Smuggler, and he still kicked the butt of everything he saw.
I was looking forward for months to this expansion. I am very disappointed.
