Hey. OP here. So no, I don't mind grinding to purple. That's exactly what I started doing after reading the replies. When I read "grey" I was like "What grey?" Then I looked at the numbers in front and saw the "greys". But I've been doing yellow. I started crafting the mods under "Mods". When the 1st was complete my 425 popped to 429! I was like "***?!" Why did they do it that way? We gotta craft things other than armor to increase in level? I appreciate all the help. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm crafting the highest level I have which is level 50 armor, 25 schematic. I did 5 green Reflex and 5 green Commando mods, reverse engineered them to get blue, then did 14 blues and it hasn't gone past 425.

I can't get past 425 in Cybertech. I purchased the upgrade from the trainer. I crafted the standard armor mods, reversed engineered some to get blues, made 14 of them, but it stays on 425. Is there something else I have to do?
