This is silly MMO's are not like wives you can have more than one and not get in trouble. I like playing SWTOR and have a great time playing it, and like others "Andrah" have said I take it for what it is not for what you want it to be. Now when Elder Scrolls Online comes out I will give that a try because it looks cool and fun. Wildstar does look super cartoony but you get to play a character with bunny ears and a tail....hell ya I will be playing that. I mean if Cthulu offered me bunny ears and tail in real life for the souls of mankind this would be a much more peaceful planet. I mean thing about it BUNNY EARS and a TAIL awesomeness. But even while playing those others you know what I can still play SWTOR....wow the power of the choice to not have to make a choice.

Umm my understanding is that they want to talk about which server to go to so that they can retain some of the community bonds they have. They are not as many of the other threads are trying fight said decision. But hey maybe I read that wrong

LOL first time I actually laughed at a post on this server forum. As long as I can name the place and substitute another fighter instead of myself and or bring weapons just for me tho you don't need them. I'm a small defenseless man who can only fight in games sigh. But sure if you agree to all that then bring it on

You can skip them and not even feel it. I did a bunch all the way to 40 something on my first guy then skipped them all on my second and did not even feel it. Now if you want to talk 50 dailies that are 4 man that may be a different story. But leveling you can skip them.

I really liked your post in it's tone kinda okay we have to deal with this as it is happening lets try to stay together so that we still have some kind of community. It was refreshing given the angst that has been going on. I am on the Harbinger "PvE server" and on our server there are already a few PvP guilds that are saying they are going to transfer over "and are being welcomed in there own strange pvp fashion sigh". I want to say that I was a refugee from another server that was mostly dead in fact most of the people I have met have come from somewhere else kinda like a server for refugees. I can only speak for myself and those I know but we would welcome anyone who wants to come over. Good luck on your move know that other players are hoping you find a good home.

I can't wait for the expansion just so we stop seeing all this stuff about it. I would not be so bad if they at least used the same thread but everyone has to have their own thread. We have threads on price, expac vs dls, promises supposedly broken, no new ac, no new race and everything else. To the op the price is 10 dollars and yes I think they should charge for it. Why? Because they need money to make more content and this is 5 new levels and a new planet that looks pretty hefty as well. Would I of been okay if they had given me it free? Sure but not if it slowed down future content.

Funny this comes up all the time. As a person I make the choice not to rage at others mistakes in the game for the simple reason is that I have made most of those mistake "ninja cape, miss pass, out of place, went for kills instead of objective, etc". It happens and all that raging does is paint you as a person who needs to find their happy place. I have a guild mate who will not rage in ops chat "as I have rule to never group with trash talkers or those known to rage out" but will light up mumble or leave a warzone. Example last night Civil War start of the match we get grass but lose mid and are fighting for snow. So everyone leaves grass except my guildy well not only do they cap grass while my guildy is yelling for help in ops chat they also manage to cap snow. Okay this is bad we now have 3 cap. The entire team stays at snow fighting for the cap no one even tries to reroute. So my guildy leaves the match I stick around for awhile then leave. In mumble he is raging and I am laughing. It's a game one that I am paying for that means that if I am not having fun due to circumstances beyond my control I leave, not freak out about it. I always say that if you feel you cannot lose due to the fact that it will make you lose your cool and melt down you might want to take a day off.

Actually surprisingly you don't get to set conditions on their posting. And Andrah has brought up many points few of which you have neither debated or refuted. And as I am on one of the destination servers I like Andrah do have a stake in how this is handled but even if we were not we could still post just for funzies.

My guess is next month maybe toward the end. And I personally will welcome having even more players on the Harbinger.

The problem is that most of us really have do not understand what the main issue is. Cut all the double talk, is it just the latency issue? Is that the whole reason you do not want to be merged is that you think this will ruin your gaming? Because if that is it than you should be posting about how latency will affect you and not anecdotal comments but actual facts.

This comes up all the time in guild chat in every guild and lets at least be honest it is no big mystery why people do not que for Ranked. We have a ton of small pvp guilds that group on a pretty regular basis and could probably field teams if they wanted to unfortunately they gave it a try got demolished and spit on and decided it was not worth it. 1: They do not like to lose that bad, now losing is not the worst thing to happen but you get a lot of matches where you get farmed and 3 capped. No one is going to keep queing for that, because surprise it is not fun. Especially when guilds don't keep members in check with the trash talk. Come on you just destroyed someones team and then you add insult to injury then expect them to come back? That is just naive when people lose and are called names they stop playing especially when there are no rewards. 2: No incentive but ranked comms, no one is going to que for ranked against the best teams just for the chance to get some ranked comms. When the alternative is to que for normal and have a far better chance at winning. 3: Many people "not me" want to do ranked but only if they have a specific team or guild with them. Even people who do ranked in a guild still only want to go if they have certain spots filled "healer anyone". The point is no one does Ranked for fun instead it turns into this huge meta game of what classes do we have on and who is currently qued, it is not about wanting to pvp ranked for the fun of it but just because you want to win and get the ego boost. Conclusion: Ranked is broken and until the player base changes or they institute cross server it will stay a ghost town filled with the 1 percent of pvpers who care about it. While the 99 percent of us outside it will happily play in normals and rarely if ever even give it a thought.

C O V E N A N T are cool people if you get the chance go with them never heard a complaint from anyone who has played with them.

Bottom line is you will have people to play with at anytime and you will have a full vibrant server to play on. I was on the server transfer from a dead server and when I transfered just having people on the planets to do heroics and level with was huge. Not to mention going through warzones with new people all the time. Trust me if you can deal with the ping you will be very happy.

All your post said was what you think as how others will answer with nothing about what you think it is basically a list of your prejudices about the community. I have not been on the PTS just followed the feedback so anything I say will be without any foundation in reality so not opinion I am interested in those that did play on it tho.

I don't know why everyone wants it in game when it is on the CM anyone can get it if they want it. If you make it only PvE then PvP is out if you make it PvP then PvE is out. While if you put it on the CM those that want just buy the thing, the ultimate in fairness. Now do not say but some don't have the money, those coins are not that expensive. You just don't want it on the CM because of some bias against it that I still do not understand. Oh and they did say somewhere that in the next Cartel Pack they will be adding Bounty Hunter armor maybe it will be Mandalorian.
