It is what it is. It looks to be the content plan going forward. I don't dig it. I think the monthly releases brings the story down. I think the story would be better presented if it was released all at once even if it was a paid expansion.

They could have done nothing and said no new content until October at the earliest. They went this way. If it's not your thing, no clue what to tell you. Only you can decide what to do.

This is in part a leveling event. Why would you not have to create a new toon to have a go at it?

If you are going to drop $20 or whatever it is now, yes it should be unlockable through collections. I wouldn't hold my breath on that though.

It isn't possible for f2p to do all of the event. At most they will be able to do 2 or 3 tiers at most since they need the expansion. Only way for preferred can finish it is if they have all the expansion, ops passes, escrow tokens. Everyone will be stuck on tier 3 or 4 until the last chapter drops in late July. To be honest, they should have just made this a sub event, f2p isn't getting past the 2nd tier and preferred the 3rd tier unless they go ahead and sub.

I agree with that. I'm disappointed that choices don't mean much. To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed in KOTFE in general. Most of the stories don't make sense unless you are a force user.

Ok, lets say they scrap the light vs dark event, then what? Endless complaints about nothing to do between seasons. Some people don't want to run old content, go through the leveling experience again, I get that but the rewards seem rewarding. If people are dead set against it, then don't do it and keep doing what you're doing now or find something else to do/play until something comes along that they do want.

Participate or don't. It's that simple. I agree with this not being retroactive. It defeats the whole purpose of it. KOTFE is about over and there will likely be a content drought for a few months. This is their bridge to the next big thing. The only somewhat legitimate complaint I see is for the people with maxed character slots.

I assume there will be a break. What I would like to know is if there will be a content dump for season 2 like with KOTFE, meaning multiple chapters upon launch or a single chapter.
