  1. Didn't last for me either. Today, Imperial Nar was hellish and on Coruscant, awful. Oh well.
  2. Well, I just did Ossus missions and it was fine....o.0
  3. Same for me on SF, ping is at most 33ms, usually 9 to 12. No rubberbanding. It is atrocious skill delay and my companions sadly have gone totally mad. Backing away from from enemies they are commanded to attack and freezing is common, or frenetically running around before finally deciding what to do. Skill delay on Nar this morning was so bad it was unplayable. Today I finally had to call it quits and log out. I've been just dealing with it recently and waiting till it is resolved but this was finally too much. Really hope this changes for the better soon.
  4. Skill delay is getting brutal on SF. Sometimes they do not even go off. Companions have become even worse, running backwards away from an enemy they are commanded to attack...and freezing.
  5. For me, on SF, it is everywhere. In addition, the usual companion issues are even worse. Command a companion to attack, and they run backwards, out of range, and freeze. Also, they tend to run around frantically in combat usually at the start. Moving NPCs are a mess. I am often told they are "out of range" even if a meter away. Most often this is with probe droid NPCS enemies but it is not exclusive to them. Also unable to loot them as they said to be too far away. I am right next to them.
  6. I never finished it...took 2 characters in and never did much , I disliked it. Since any character that begins anything else after Kotfe/kotet will loose all companions, no others will do it ( I really did not enjoy that whole companion shuffle thing). My 2 that dabbled in it may. Some like, some do not. A matter if taste. So i just "head cannon" everything and do what i like, do not do what i dislike.
  7. Ok this time it worked I sent you a friend request
  8. :/ I get an error "Cannot connect to the Steam network"....idk why. I'll keep trying.
  9. Flamethrower was so fun on my healer merc. Beskar'gam needs a flame weapon built in it for me!. Just the fun factor. I rarely touch my merc anymore since that change and go on my PT ever since. A lot of fun and flavor of the character left with that, for me at least.
  10. That was my plan but fate had other things in store for me. Long story :/
  11. I think this is it. After doing everything support suggested, to no avail, I decided to download from the site even though I had installed from disc. Thing is....from disc, it was asking for my email, not my display name...which I never since 20212 seen. After using the installer from the site...which simply seemed to verify I had the game, it was FAST...suddenly; the launcher asked for my display name. And now it works.
  12. Not new player but so far, have found no solution to this issue. Installed swtor on new PC. Login screen now does not ask for my display name, but my email. I enter email associated with acct, enter password...and immediately I get a message "server not responding". Never seen this in the past, anyone have any experience with this?
  13. Yep, I timed it...no different than before. I honestly don't see the respawn timer decrease. I can play at off hours but it is usually of little help. These open world quest are generally full of people running everywhere on speeders, trying to aggro every and any mob that is spawned ( is somewhat amusing to see them die at times..the latest spectacle was a sniper on CZ-198 running around and aggroing everything... I did not feel like rezzing him when he died). Many mobs/objectives seem to have 5 minute timers on them. Like "Pound of Flesh" on Imperial Nar, etc. I ignore the bonus always on that but, the needed clickable objectives for it aside from the bonus and number of kills, is going to be brutal come the merges. It's likely to be another one I skip. At least CZ-198 has a relatively low timer, so you can eventually get things done. But as merges are coming, I'll likely adjust what I do and simply forgo the daily bonus for doing all heroics ( for example) on a planet, and just pick and choose what is less tedious. Anyway, I'll still have fun, my progress will be even slower than it is now, but that seems to be how it will go.
  14. Love the game. Sure, there are some things I dislike, but in gaming I find there are always things in a game I dislike. I have fun every single day in this game.
  15. Sadly I do not share this optimistic view. I don't RP but almost every time...no exaggeration, nearly every time..I have seen people engaged in RP, trolls dived in. If they happen to be in "earshot", they go at it. It's a huge thrill for them. Griefers of all sorts live for such moments and rarely (if ever) pass up an opportunity. It won't affect me as I do not RP, but think those who do have a legitimate concern.
  16. Eh, roll with the punches, I suppose. But yeah I am dreading some of this. Already on Shadowlands there are quests I just skip due to the struggle to get objectives that everyone needs. I'm happier as it is, but, so be it.
  17. Welcome back and glad you're having fun too!
  18. The chance of getting a Tactical Advantage from a Kolto Waves, Kolto Probe, or Recuperative Nanotech tick granted by Medical Engineering is now 10% eeewwwww...this looks very ugly
  19. You should hit 50 pretty quickly if you maybe do some heroics for a while. Just try to enjoy doing those for a bit, and not worry about the class quest for a bit:) Just have fun if you can and try not to feel pressured to hurry and get everything done. The parry and miss are pretty much like "resist". At a difference of 5 levels, nothing you do will really harm them.
  20. They are likely level 50 enemies...and at level 44..they will resist your attacks. Just wait till you hit 50 and they will take damage!
  21. Utilities are up for nerfs/changes soon, and it is expected that merc utilities will be changed....and the expectation is that the changes will be nerfs. They had some DPS reduction recently, but the utilities are on the cutting table next.
  22. I am, inside, hoping that you are correct, trying to find solace in the fact that they did postpone making any changes. Perhaps I am just too pessimistic, and thus expect a rather meaningless buff to single target heals along with heavy nerfs to all else.
  23. Despite the fact that they did postpone the nerf to medicine/Sawbones, I am still expecting a tiny buff to a single target heal, accompanied by nasty reductions to all else. Another poster here said they'll need to rework these healers in order to shoe horn them into their magic target numbers; I agree but I seriously doubt they will do so. More likely they will just reduce everything, save for a minute buff to single target, and call it balanced. I may well be wrong, and they might do something decent. But all along in this nerf extravaganza we have been watching, Medicine/Sawbones have been the ones I am expecting to receive the harshest treatment in the end.
