  1. Let me rephrase that. 1. I'm only scamming a few people for now. 2. We only use one of my methods this time, instead of all of them. 3. I made rules that you can't enforce, aside from some code of honor. 4. Based on my understanding, it's technically not a ponzi scheme. 5. See rule 3. 6. I can actually give you something to make up for when I vanish with all your credits. I'm not trying to be overly vindictive, as I personally didn't invest a credit to you. But I have friends that lost sizeable sums because of your last running here, and I do not approve of the conduct at all. Take your business elsewhere, because we don't want it here.
  2. I would prefer to say until it gets fixed. BioWare has made the stance that the stacking of these relics isn't intended in the past, present or the future. I won't tell you not to run SA/SA, but you should at least feel a little guilty about exploiting unintended mechanics when you do Afterwards, if you avoid dual-SA, then SA/BA is currently best in slot, especially for non-MM, who sustain higher hits per second than MM. The extra hits reduces the time between procs. Now, a rule of thumb, is every 23 seconds. As lethality (dirty fighting for you filthy pubbies ), I find that I pretty much get it every 20 seconds, 21 if it stretches. But, even at 23 seconds, an Obroan SA will provide an overall average of 184 power. If every 20 seconds on the dime, it's 208.5. EWH BA just can't keep up. Then, for the clicky Boundless Ages, the DF version would afford 161.5 assuming use on cooldown.
  3. To get 110% ranged, yes. But, you absolutely want to get 100% ranged, 110% tech. In full 72s, you can opt for 395 accuracy rating for 99.5%, or one more enhancement for 100.5% ranged. As a joke once, I made an AMR profile in full 78s for maximum accuracy, and only got to 109.29% ranged. http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/4521fa17-d82b-4ca7-b3e2-12cac324321d As for the DF/Hybrid, I would suggest running about 100 crit. It's technically not going to push as high numbers as the others, but it's quality of life for energy regen. Otherwise, yes, what he said.
  4. Whoever has the most toons named Ellisish, with no special characters. It's a perfectly fair contest. Perfectly fair!
  5. My post was dbaggery? I make a joke, and you snap down my neck. With, and I quote, "You know, it's said that the Ebon Hawk has a great community. It's a good thing to know that stereotypes aren't always true." In other words, I am below a good part of the community. Well, pehaps I am. But, even after clarifying it was a joke, you snapped at me again! If you were going to drop it because it wasn't serious, you should've simply done so. I however, will refrain from slinging insults your way, because the only ones that come to mind to describe you violate the rules of conduct.
  6. Alright. Next time, I'll refrain from attempting to lighten the mood, after serious business went down. It doesn't surprise me an argument broke out in your thread. Not Aisthesis' thread, or any other guild, of course. Your thread. You claimed it.
  7. You know, it's called a joke. Maybe grow a sense of humor -_-
  8. I want to lead it, so I can use the most convoluted methodology ever. Progression will be measured in complicated algerbraic formulae, which would require a graphing calculator or extensive mathematical prowess. And that's only to find out which guild it is. After that, a binary setup, to learn what the hexidecimal code is, to figure out what color to use, when filtering another image to find progress!
  9. For those curious... http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=673320
  10. Welcome back, to scam people out of their credits, Greenspan.
  11. 8man :/ I enjoy 16man, because it's a bunch of fun. But, my guild just doesn't have the bodies for it. And yeah, definitely. Dummy parses =! raid skill in the slightest. Pushing out damage helps, but if you die because you weren't doing things right, that 3200 dps is going to drop to 0 really fast.
  12. In my experience, even if it's a movement heavy point, I'll just throw out a rifle shot, worst case scenario. Overload Shot if doing decent on energy. AS for the roll, I agree completely. I see it as impractical for many fights. I also save it for the red circle in Cal, and it's way too risky in Tyrans. Others, like Grobthok, Draxus, Raptus, etc. I can see it fitting well enough, though. As for your mentioning of my parsing, this is currently my highest parse, using the AMR profile I linked above. I've since gotten a couple upgrades, but I haven't actually parsed with it. And I'm fully aware I clipped my very first cull >_> I hate myself enough for it already. One thing I don't like about parsing on the dummy is the armor debuff. It makes me float extra energy, that could otherwise be spent on Snipe. But, because I have to maintain it myself, I find myself just not having the wiggle room to get in Snipes with my energy, as I more often float on the edges. I'm thinking of asking an arsenal merc or jugg tank friend of mine to maintain the debuff for me, to get a more practical idea of what I'll do, as my group utilizies a jugg tank and a MM sniper anyway. It's rare I have to maintain Shatter Shot
  13. Not at all! Most ranged classes are only 30m. Gunslinger and sniper are the exclusive 35m heros, although some classes can increase the range of specific abilities. As for your snipe comment, what tree are you? IF you're Marksman, you can increase your snipe and ambush usage. And snipe is a 1.5s cast, but the global cooldown (that period of time with every attack where you can't queue up another) is also 1.5s. So you can use two basic attacks in the time of two snipes.
  14. You revived a thread 2 years dead... impressive. Most of the time, restarting the client will fix these bugs. IF not, BioWare is putting out a patch that works on these kinds of bugs specifically.
  15. Pfft. THat's why you guard the shadow tank. And even then, it's a really really really easy boss. Nefra is basically the loot boss of the new flashpoints. If I'm not busy, I should be able to help on one of my toons at least.
  16. "Good morning, kids! Do you know what's the most important meal of the day? Here at Proper Villains, we know! Our scientists, nutritionists, and physicians have all agreed. The most important meal of the day is the death and destruction of your foes! "Now, if you're like Little Billy here, you might be wondering, 'But how do I get that into my diet, Ellisish?' It's easy! You just have to find a fitting raiding guild, and we'll help you!" "But Mr Ellisish. I'm not very well geared, and I don't know if my rotation is perfect." "That's alright, champ. Our experts at Proper Villains Academy will hone you into a weapon of massive destruction. You'll be bathing in the blood of your enemies in no time!" "Golly gee, that sure does sound fun! How do I do all of this?" "Another easy one, Billy! The team of Proper Villains are struggling to hold back the endless wave of mindless drones. In fact, it's been reported that they've broken a sweat once or twice! Gasp! But, there's one thing we can do to help them. We can build a second team. We can make another elite fighting force. We can help them. We can fight! And there's only one thing we need." "One thing? What's that, Mr Ellisish?" "We need you! Come, won't you join us in the war effort?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you're curious, that was just as much fun to write out as I hope it was to read. For real though, come join Proper Villains. We're building a second raid team, and we could always use more bodies for the grind........ teammates. We could always use more teammates.
  17. That's another thing I've been seeing. Use EP, use EP. I dunno if it's just me, but whenever I use EP, even with TA or AP ready, it starves my energy. But, in that same situation, with careful timing, I can instead use two snipes, and I've just been overall doing better by neglecting EP. As an example, last night I was playing around going back and forth, and those runs where I wasn't using EP at all, I was pulling ~3100, generally a little over. But, when I used EP, I capped out at 3050, because I struggled more with energy management. I mean, I know that >3k is more than enough for any boss fight regardless, and at this point it's pretty much just nitpicking. Just how things have been working out for me, in my quite suboptimal gear. For those wondering, dem enhancements. It's a work in progress.
  18. Not to mention you get a skill for 9% bonus cunning. Also, not sure how I missed it, but Orbital Strike is another important tech ability in the MM rotations
  19. I myself am a Lethality sniper, and I've been doing very respectable. We don't parse as well on Dummy as some of the other sniper specs, but when we've been raiding, I use torparse and parsec to check how my damage is lining up with the other dps in my group. I am regularly meeting them, if not beaing them, in most fights. Obviously, some fights (Styrak), going Lethality is just stupid, but for most, it keeps up.
  20. That's not always enough. The aggro dump is only a 10% drop. Now, think about it this way. Your tank will be sustaining 1100-1200 dps. That comes out to 2400 tps from pure dps. Add in a few high threat abilities, and it's more. But, a dps can sustain 3100-3200 dps, which is 3200 tps. Yes, you might be able to avoid the pull in your burst, but a good tank will be rolling taunts through an opener anyway, just to be safe. Later in the fight though, it can get risky. Especially on a fight like Raptus, where the tank causes reduced threat. However, at that point, unless you have to go balls to the walls to beat an enrage timer, it's not going to kill a dps to pull a little less. For example, that Raptus fight, I'm one of the dps that go without a guard. But, because they get reduced threat, I run a high risk of pulling. Because of that, there's points in that fight where I'm sustaining very little dps, just letting the tanks build some threat. A good tank can cause a lot of threat. A good dps can cause a lot of dps. A good tank and a good dps won't cause any problems. At the end of the day, it's on both of you.
  21. Ellisish - Sniper - Lethality 3139.59 dps Soon... Soon, Lethality won't just be an "Honorable Mention"...
  22. Oh well yeah. That's a given. But 90% of the time, I run with a Jugg, or an arsenal merc, or some other sniper maintaining the buff. I was mostly commenting that every time I see someone else writeup the rotation, it never accounts for that global.
  23. The only correct answer to that is yes. Look at the actual stat bonuses to the gear, and plan accrdingly. The two sets work in conjunction with one another. 2 piece field tech + 2 professional = 4 piece of the set.
  24. What?... As MM, Snipe is a regular part of your rotation. Is it as awesome a cooldown as say TA, or Recklessness for inq? No. But, it's something that's used on cooldown, because it is a dps increase. Even as Lethality, I use it on cooldown, unless I somehow make myself energy starved.
  25. Hey there, paowee. Feeling fanciful, I decided to look at your intro post, and noticed something. For the full Lethality spec, this is what you have listed for the main rotation. CG - CD - WB - Cull - TD - SoS - Cull - TD - repeat I don't know if I must be doing something wrong, but that never works. I always end up with CG - CD - WB - Cull - TD - SoS - X - Cull - TD - repeat I always get that open global right there. I've been running Lethality for a while now (loved it pre-2.0, came back seeing Orbital changes incoming) and have since adapted it slightly. Now, it looks more like: CG - CD - WB - Cull - TD - X - SoS - Cull - TD - repeat -X Priority 1.) Corrosive Mine (If practical, start moving immediately after Cull) 2.) Rifle Shot (If not near max energy/regens not ready) 3.) Snipe Just wanted your thoughts. I can just never seem to rid myself of that global, but every time I see someone else post a Lethality rotation, it doesn't have one.
