Great job Bioware. First you nerf companions into oblivion, and then you screw the pooch on maintenance day. How about you take the time to fix the numerous bugs that this game has instead of nerfing companions and actually provide some stuff that benefits the players instead of hindering them? Talk about one giant clusterf**k!

Ditto my characters who logged out on the guild flagship cannot log in, but my other toons are fine. This has been an ongoing problem for others. Please fix this nonsense.

I'm having the same problem as well.

I think the dev's removed the birthright kits because they thought it was cheating for someone to be able to send basic comms to their alts. Of course that total BS/HS because we've earned those comms in one form or another. I think you should be able to transfer comms between your characters period. Yes I understand that you can send between your alt via BOL gear, however you can't transfer Implants, earpieces and relics. Overall this expansion has been pretty good but the remove of birthright vendors is a big black mark on the expansion. New players can RTFM like the rest of had to do when we started playing the game.

Rule 15 never attack the adds that are face****** your healer. Adds are beneath you because you do uber dps. The healer is a fail if they can't keep the tank healed and AOE the adds down at the same time. They are nubs who need to l2p.

Dps Sorcerers don't need alacrity in their gear. The basic comms vendor sells some item level 162 gear with alacrity in it. I have a level 55 sorcerer and sage. I don't need alacrity in my dps gear. I need power, surge and critical in my dps gear. Alacrity is good for healing gear. I don't need alacrity in my lvl 55 Juggernauts tanking gear. I need defense, shield chance, defense and absorption in my tanking gear. Alacrity is a useless stat in dps and tanking gear. Its worthless, its stupid and having it in tanking and dps gear just robs me and other players of stats that they need. Thank you /rantmode off

Apparently you have drop cartel coins to unlock the new companion now. Subscribers should be able to unlock the new companion mission for free. I can see dropping coins to unlock it on other characters, but to just unlock the mish? That's highway robbery. EA is milking everyone they can for money now? I can spending coins on unlocking a pet or chatchky but not for a companion. As a subscriber I did not have to drop coins to unlock the HK. There's almost no point in subbing if we have to pay coins for everything. The subscribers and carrying the load, and not the F2P types.

The suggested gear rating for lvl 55 HM's is 148, and the best you can do by running lvl 50 HM's is lvl 146 gear. The lvl 55 HM's drop 148 gear mostly and some 162 gear. How in the heck can you get 148 gear unless you run ops and/or grind for basic comms which are good for 156 gear? This is a flaw. Ideally lvl 50 hm's should drop 148 gear and the lvl 55 HM's should drop 55 gear exclusively and set it up so the basic comms can be used for lvl 162, and vice versa. The point being that lvl 50 hm's should help you get geared for lvl 55 hm's and lvl 55 hm's should help you get geared for lvl 55 ops. This current system is pretty gd dumb.

The mobs on Maked are insane. Listen I don't have 12 hours a day to grind dailies for Coms. You all had it right with the missions on Cor and Belsavis. Section hasn't been too bad imho because Ive always been a group, but the dang mobs on Makeb are out of control. Your not doing dailies for the scenery. You doing them to get in, get out, and get your comms.

Good luck with that. I have the same problem and reported the bug. CSR claimed that I deleted the mission myself (I did not,) and the csuckers refused to restore the mission. So much for customer service in TOR.

The laser beam method works like a charm. I tried it and it works great!!! I had all three companions out at that point and was getting thumped-badly. Good tactics. Thanks
